Then there was the bookkeeper... a rather unfortunate fellow. He was part of a local sorcerer Collage. Their vast library contained many powerful magics. Whilst studying one of the darker books, he was cursed... to become a monkey permanently. 

No spell of the collage could undo this magic, and so he instead took up residency within the library. Rumour has it he's been the best bookkeeper the collage has ever had.
