Archon the Hell Dragon (Patreon)

As above So below. Favored quote of many scholars and today we will be exploring a legend of 3 dragons, that embody that quote.

according to this legend... in the beginning before the seperation of the planes there was once a powerful dragon who watched over the initial plane of reality. her wisdom kept all in her charge safe and content. but as the plane grew and her ability to maintain stability waned she decided it was time to create her replacement or rather replacements.

3 dragons each equal in their ability and skill who would watch over the plane as she did.

but as her clutch grew to maturity a cataclysm split the plane into the arrangement we are familiar with today. this cataclysm not only separated the plane but her clutch of eggs as well. feeling her death fast approaching she bound each hatchling to one of the newly created planes. tasking them to govern as she once did.

and for a time they did just that, but as the planes settled and their characteristics began to form their influence began to effects each dragon in different ways.

the first dragon known as archon ruled over the infernal planes. the lands of fire and brimstone, of bleak despair and screams affected the young hatchling making him become bitter and twisted, his scales turned dark and the hate he carried burned eternally between them. his hatred for his brothers knew no bounds as he cursed both for his entombment within this hell scape...
