Behind the Scenes: How an Audio Gets Posted 🎙️ (Patreon)

People sometimes ask what goes into posting an audio—so here’s a little behind-the-scenes look.
For a standard audio, it usually takes around 10 to 15 minutes to go from raw file to scheduled post. But for compilations or collections, it can easily take one to two hours. Most of that time is spent editing—but honestly, just picking the right recordings can take a while too.
Editing usually involves boosting the volume so it plays clearly, trimming out any distracting noises (mouth clicks, mic bumps, awkward silences), and sometimes reducing background hum—like when someone records with a fan running or the mic’s too far away.
Before anything gets uploaded, I listen all the way through—not just to clean it up, but to make sure it’s something worth posting. I also tag every audio carefully. It may sound boring, but tagging is one of the most important parts—it helps people actually find what they want later.
Once the audio’s edited and tagged, it goes into the queue. That’s when I add a title, a short description or caption, and a file number. The file number might not seem like a big deal, but with thousands of audios, it’s what keeps me from accidentally posting the same one twice. It’s my own little archive system behind the scenes.
It’s not glamorous—but it’s part of making sure everything runs smoothly, and that the audio you get sounds as good as it can
