April Schedule—New Patrons, Start Here! (Patreon)

Hey folks! No jokes here, I'll be quietly animating instead.

First up, some news: going by the reception to her animation, I've decided to not make Ænox's Patreon Deluxe. Instead, I've begun working on a different animation project, featuring Janet Peter-Smyth and a new workplace "rival" of hers. (No, this is not an April Fool's joke, although the timing is unfortunate lol). Ænox can just be a standalone animation instead. For now, anyway.

If people want to see more of Ænox then maybe I'll make her Patreon Deluxe at some point, maybe for Halloween (which would have been a better time to make her, in retrospect). But looking back over the last few weeks of teaser posts for her, the response was muted, even factoring in how quiet my patrons usually are. That's totally fine, by the way: sometimes artists I follow make projects I'm not interested in, so I understand that feeling. And I don't see much point in spending weeks making a Deluxe that most of my patrons are disinterested in seeing (been there, done that), so we'll just move on.

If the Janet animation is well liked, then there are potential follow up animations I can do to explore the animation concept further. What's the concept? Oh you'll understand when you see it... All I'll say is, outside of bonus content for the animation, Janet won't be pregnant. Maybe you can see where this is going...

Sorry to those who wanted to see more Ænox, but I think making a Janet animation is more what people want to see. I had considered making a poll to see which animation people would want, but let's face it, we know which one would win, don't we? Anyway, here's to Easter (I have an egg I can't wait to eat) and I'll see you Friday for something else instead of the usual WIP posts. TTFN!
