Hey folks! Another Friday, another WIP of my current ongoing project! As always, the dialogue is not the final dialogue, and the animation may not be final either. You can play spot the difference when I finally post the final animation. Won't that be fun? I wonder when it'll be finished...

I'm working away on this heckin' complicated animation, and making progress, but as is to be expected when dealing with two characters, both of whom are fully animated, progress is slow. It doesn't help matters that I spent yesterday working on a scene that, after sleeping on it and seeing it with fresh eyes, isn't good enough to continue with. Sigh. I've posted a glimpse of that scene as a bonus. Maybe I'll figure out a use for it, but I don't think I can use it for what I have planned for Tifa and Aerith. It is what it is...

So what else is left to make for this animation? The final scene is a dual birth (of which that rejected scene should give you a hint of), which I'll be redoing today and animating ASAP. As you can imagine, having two women give birth at the same time will be an arduous task, so I ask for your patience as I try to get it done, along with another additional scene to wrap up the whole animation.

Considering how long it's taking to make this and how complicated most of the scenes are, I'm not sure if there will be any bonus scenes (honestly, the Deluxe itself is already bonus content!). But I'll see what happens when I finish the animation and how easy it is to do edits for the finished scenes.

So how long will it take to make? Uh...I cannot say. But I'll do my best to finish it ASAP, while making it as good as I can. I am quite fond of both Tifa and Aerith, so I don't want to do them dirty (outside of subjecting them to pregnancy and birth, that is). I doubt I'll finish for next Friday, so expect another quickie Short. But we'll see what kind of progress I can make in a week.

Anyway, that's enough rambling. Time to redo this double birth scene again (man, I went from doing rare births to doing births regularly. What happened?) and get back to the grind. As always, thanks for your support and patience, and I'll see you tomorrow for August's schedule post. TTFN!
