Define normal. Right now they are Uncle and Niece [or Nephew, depending on who you talk to]. I think they have a long way to go there.

I think that this game has several obvious endings; 1] The bad guys win, 2] Jack gives up and goes home, 3] Jack and Sam become Married, 4] Jack graduates and becomes a Witch Hunter in her own right. I tend to see 3 as a form of 2 because Jack needs to give up on a big part of her identity [being a him].

I suspect it could be a VERY long apprenticeship. Most apprenticeships last years. There is also the problem that Sam isn't and official Witch Hunter so I'm not sure that Jack's time under him [heh] would count if there is a time requirement in addition to an education requirement.

Agreed. A bit Hollywood. Getting his licence back would be good but he'd have to deal with VanHellsing first. I think he's the big bad for this arc so it's possible.

Maybe Jack is already taking a contraceptive potion but it's so common a thing that it hasn't been mentioned. Sort of like brushing your teeth.
