Whoever says I was forcing a monthly subscription to use the mods is totally wrong and they did not even bother to read the posts.

I have stated in every post since I first added DRM that no subscribers will be affected, you can literally cancel subscription and wait a year then pass the authentication from another computer to get the token with your account whose subscription has expired for one year by then, it's written in every posts on patreon since I added it.

DRM is obviously bad for reputation since a lot of people keep demonizing what I did.

When implemented well this could've been a good thing for subscribers, since with DRM I can stop restricting download acceess with roles.

And it also allows for free updates for former subscribers.

For example if a mod still fails after a game update despite the memory signature I used, I can simply update it and release it, and people who subscribed for only one month for this mod back when the game was released, can now get the update I release for free without having to resub, but people who didn't subscribe still can't use it even if they can download it.

It's literally a win-win, only loser is pirates. But since all the hypocrite have to go againist me while still finding every way they can to use my mods, I'll continue to make it harder for them.

I am about to move on from Starfield to next game, I'll continue this as a service no matter what they said.

Olieb0l

Thx for what you do, best 5 bucks I spent this year.

Manuel Lindner

Ignore them - keep going with the good Work 💪🫶

Evan Kohn

It's ironic that folks pay nearly $100 for a game that left out what your doing for $5......

Tyler

Thanks for all of your work. I've been trying to call out pirates where I see them, but people get really vitriolic when you suggest the possibility of supporting a good developer.

Yee Fan Tan

So right now I can still get updates on the discord even after unsub? Or is that yet to be implemented?

Automata

There was a discussion worth having at the time of the announcement about DRM in mods. However, you've gone about it in probably the best way humanly possible, and seeing other people dismiss what the implementation, it feels like they're missing the forest for the trees. Mod DRM doesn't sound great on paper but in practice it's been totally fine and basically invisible for me. You're providing a service with these mods that no one else is (there's another Starfield one but it's more janky and the first frame gen mod outside yours I believe). The lack of respect I see across the internet is truly unbelievable. If you can make money from this work and people are happy to pay for the value-add to our gaming experiences, then you deserve it. Maybe one day something would happen where that would change, but in the meantime I'm more than willing to give $5 a month to support what you do, even if I don't have to. Keep up the great mods

Lars-Christian Selland

I really like the new model tbh. I'm going to have to unsubscribe for a few months as I need to go through and stabilize my economy as I became a university student just about a month ago. Being able to actually get updates in the meantime is fantastic. The old saying "haters gonna hate" still stands to this day.

Actuallyhappy

So are the DRM mods freely downloadable by now? Oh and integrating DLSS3 into Final Fantasy XIV would be GRAND.

Samuel Vasconcelos

PRGameDev

Those haters dont even know how much work it is to keep software products up to date. They dont respect the work of others and mostly want everything for free. Since free2play stuff came up everything went into bad direction. I feel sorry for all creators who have to deal with that!

PureDark

You can get updates for the game you subscribed for, yes. I will open the download access for people who's subscription expired.

Juan Diego Paternina

Thank you so much for your service. Really took my Starfield experience to a whole new level. Didn’t even thought of it twice about paying for it cuz I knew it was a one time thing.

Actuallyhappy

"I will open the download access for people who's subscription expired" So the downloads are not YET available? And this reads like a manual process for every person manually.

Desalater

giving access to updates down the line would be great as it fixes my only issue i had with the sub which was no updates once it ran out :)

Lib Liberte

Man, dont bother, nobody is working for free... those kids without 5 dollar, how they got the game then? Do your job, don't bother the critics

d0x

I get where they are coming from because modding is about improving upon someone's work via community effort but at the same time I'm not against people getting paid for their work and surely a bunch of work went into these mods because I've been trying to get it to work with Callisto protocol for a couple weeks, even taking a peek under the hood with Ida but it didn't help me whatsoever lol. Probably because I'm not a modder although if you wanna give me the secret so I can play that 1 game said secret is safe and I'll stay subbed (plus upcoming tip when I finally get freakin paid) for having the stardlss mod out in under 2 hours. I'm a man of my word and while my pay schedule sucks...I'm still sending an extra $40 your way on top of the monthly fee. I did hear digital foundry talk about the mod and they were of 2 minds on the issue. Overall they agree a modder can decide if they wanna get paid or not. The only issue they had was charging and even then Rich seemed to be more worried that charging for a mod like this along with all the attention might cause you to run a foul of Microsoft lawyers. I doubt Bethesda minds and I doubt team Xbox or Phil mind...but legal is different and I dealt with them once back in 2000 when I...well dm me (PureDark only) and I'll tell you the story but it was shocking to say the least but ended well for me even if I had to remove everything I had written, found and posted. Regardless I wish you luck. If I didn't believe in the work... I wouldn't still be here

Ben Willock

I'm a big supporter of you PureDark and have done what I can to defend you online, so when I say this I'm not saying it as a hater. This doesn't come across particularly well. Trying to justify DRM as better for users is going to get laughed at and just bring more criticism your way. If I were you, I'd just not say anything at all. You don't need to justify making sure people pay for your labour, that's just how things work.

d0x

Biggest potential issue will be Microsoft legal. Not Xbox or Bethesda but the lawyers..... They can be vicious

PureDark

I won't if they don't spread lies about me. If they are to accuse me of charging monthly fee I have to fight back. Other criticism I won't really care, only lies I can't let go.

PureDark

Once this model runs through I'll open the download access for former patrons.

Maestro298

Continue. I really like your job. I don't even need to subscribe but i'm still supporting you because you deserve it

EJ Crough

I think it'd be better optics if you released the mods freely and switched to a donation based model. Keep patreon for early releases. I get it's easy for me to say this tho as I'm not in your shoes trying to make a living from this stuff so take everything I say with a grain of salt. that said I'll do my best to support you while I'm using your mods either way. edit - also, if you reach out to Yong and talk one on one it might be a good idea, I think he may have overreacted in his video but he's always struck me as a reasonable guy and has spoken with others he's taken issues with before.

Automata

I have my doubts that they would be a meaningful concern. At worst they'd request a takedown, but more importantly they don't have any incentive to take down this mod. People wanted DLSS, the game doesn't have it. They can skirt past people being way more upset because these mods exist and don't require their assistance

Cosmin Enache

I think it's your right to monetise this. Especially since you allow a one time payment for the mod essentially, it's very fair. I wouldn't mind the complaining. Any publicity is good publicity after all haha. The people who want the performance boost will still buy your mod either way

Deros Elve

Can I suggest an ideal solution for everyone? Create a central download application, like Yuzu, where those who have subscribed can update the versions, and to download and use it for the first time they need to authenticate, after that they no longer need to.

Kartik Gounder

I completely agree with this, it is absolutely you’re right to monetise this, the work was put in so people like myself and everyone here can enjoy these AAA titles without having to worry about performance issues. The anger should be directed at the companies not including DLSS

frankie

You are providing a service you need to be composited Bethesda shoulda added it from the jump then

Sebastian

Keep doing a good job!

Beavis Butthead

They're complaining for the sake of complaining, it's a great thing that we have indie developers doing their thing by adding functionality we want. Keep up the good work.

MDK_PT

The only one that matters are the ones that suport you and dont give bs, you had 2 options free mods (Maybe less support) or this route , ppl do 2 things support you or complain. Só my advice is just Keep up the good work, and Maybe and i say Maybe reach out to does media outlets that are talking about you…… and give them your side. Cheers

Julian

Fuck the hate mate. You spend time and energy building a mod implementing something Bethesda should have done. Your time/your effort = reasonable to charge for it. The alternative is no dlss support. Just ignore the commentary and keep going!

Neko14789

I have subscribed and like your mods. The things that are a bit problematic in my view are that you might not be able to use or active the mod with no internet (Don't really know how the DRM works, but at least 1 time internet is needed I think). Also, if eventually the Frame Gen version becomes stable and DRM-less the next point would not be an issue but right now if you would just stop hosting the verification service from today to tomorrow because of any reason nobody would be able to install this mod or use it (again I do not know how the DRM works, does it ask the server every time or just one time).

dennis quiad

Is your mod, you can do what you want. If they want to cry about it they can make their own mod. Capitalism ftw

lil_vinci

Its not always online DRM so it doesn't have to constantly ping a server to work.

PureDark

You only need Internet access for the first time authentication, then the token that lasts months will be stored locally and you can use all my mods offline without internet access. All my mods share the same token so you don't need to authenticate for each one of them seperately.

Neko14789

That is good to hear, are you planning to release the Frame Gen versions of your mods without DRM on nexus at some point when they are out of beta?

Alexander

I haven't even actually used any of your mods yet, just subscribe because I feel like I'm supporting something good for the space. F the haters

Jeremy

Thank you and shame on people for forcing a statement like this. I truly hope anyone cracking and using your mod sees devastating effects. Keep up the good work. You're one of the hardest workers I have ever encountered.

Dan Gir

Denuvo is the only way Please insert denuvo drm in your mods

Nashoba Fennec

Fenrir forbid that you are compensated for your efforts and for trying to make a living. It was because of the idiots that I found your patreon and subbed to it to support your work. These spoiled man children really need to realize that mods take a lot of time and energy to create. Especially if they are made to fix or add features to an unfinished alpha or beta title released as “polished.” These are also the same man children that will buy every BS skin in the game.

White Fox

Don't worry about it , people still buy games with drm anyways not to mention buy stuff from company's that are bigger hypocrites like Sony and M$

Shawn

You have been completely clear from the first post I stumbled on about this mod. Don’t listen to the people who just complain and don’t even take the time to read.

PureDark

What's the matter? Even if tokens expires you can still authenticate with your account like you did the first time without having to resubscribed.

andy ho

haters gonna hate. you do you king

Shane Whitaker

"Move on from Starfield??" PureDark no way...we need you.

PissGossypiboma

I personally don’t like the DRM. But it’s your product, and your choice. At least thanks for the good work. Even with DRM, this work is appreciated by many.

Dennis Roberts

Too many people feel they are entitled to everything for free. Its not wrong or immoral to want to get paid for the work we do. I don't even use your mod but subscribed because I want to support the work of people like you.

FL1NTZ

DRM is definitely not popular and I'm one that will always be against it. However, there isn't anyone being forced to partake in your Patreon and I think it's warranted for you to charge for the work you put into these mods. The people that don't like it are those that don't have the capability to process words in a reasonable and effective way. Those are the ones that you don't need to waste energy on. Keep on keeping on man.

Carl Tabora

I thought the download links get hidden on discord once you're not subbed?

PureDark

That's before, and with a new authenticate system I can keep track of former patron so that I can allow former patron to download updates for the mod they subscribed for.

PureDark

There are already like a few stable versions, although still no one version for all, but most people can have stable experience either with 02h1 or 06 or 06h1 or 07, I don't think there's any needs for updating other than mod broken, but it withstood the newest update I think it can last a long time.

Cameron

I canceled my sub. Your community was willing to give you so much money. $40,000 a month.. Why were you so worried? I went from wanting to sub every month to not wanting to support due to DRM

kryptonfly

Nevermind, there are always leaks anywhere on the web, with DRM only folks registered can use the mods, exactly as it should be in this kind of platform.

Shane Whitaker

I don’t even know what all the drama is about nor do I even care to know, with that being said I always appreciate your work & hope you continue to create mods for both Skyrim & Starfield. Your one of my favorite modders.

ゲーム積読 Tsundoku Games

Gamers are assholes. Do your thing your way. People that don't like it can bugger off. You're the one doing the work and providing the service.

Ark the Birb

It doesn’t matter, no water you say people will just complain and find way to justify their action so they don’t have to pay. “You already made X amount of money, therefore I should get it free.” That’s some petty justification reasoning, “$5 is too much” probably younger kids, pirates just don’t want to pay. I seen pirate leaked stuff that’s a $1, like wow. If you want to drop the SF series to not deal with the hassle, go for it. Until then, stay whelmed.

Florian Jung

Starfield made me aware of your work in the first place. Thank you for everything. Dont let haters take you down.

Michael Griffin

Exactly. I don't understand this entitlement people have for things in today's world. You need Internet to download the mod, and the game. If you have the mod you have internet.

Michael Griffin

He wasn't worried. He was likely fed up with people stealing his work.

Neko14789

At the point of writing, I did not yet know that the mod does not require an Internet connection on every launch. Luckily I have a stable internet connection, I was thinking about people for whom this might not be the case. With the authentication staying some months it's better and probably then not a problem for most people.

Cameron

Yeah that’s true. I just left one comment and unsubbed. Really no point to beleaguer the point

PureDark

Like, I only responded to lies which accused me of charging monthly fee. Am I not allow to clarify that?

Cameron

I just don’t get the point of DRM when your community and good will was so strong. I do enjoy what you’ve created and I got to use fwiw

Lee Swain

You deserve to be paid for your work. It's not that hard. Some people make mods for free. Good for them, I have done that myself. But if someone makes something this good and they work really hard on it like you obviously do. It's easy worth $5 of my money. There are inferior free versions for the whiners to use, you get what you pay for. And from what I understand, several of them do a damn good job anyway. Irony is, I found out about your mod because someone posted a cracked version on Nexus, I could have used that. But I came here and subbed instead to support the work. And since then you released 3 updates and now it's really stable for me. Not had a crash for 15 hours gameplay and made my gameplay experience much better. Best $5 I ever spent TBH!

Rhyfelwr

Hey man, while Starfield now received official DLSS support I'd still like to thank you for your work on Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE. The latter was literally game-changing for me. Don't let all the hate get to you, in the end of the day your Starfield DLSS mod was optional and nobody was forced to use it. Keep up the good work!

RB

You say this, but where is the authentication token located? You never shared where the token is. I tried to find the token today to activate my other PC offline, but nowhere could I find what the token file was called or where to find it. If you're going to publicly state that you can take the token file to any offline PC, you ought to share instructions on how to do so easily.

Stefano Marciano

The issue that will ever be present is that people all have their own personal idea of morality. They'll justify their actions based on what they assume to be ok or not and I include myself in that, so should you PureDark. I'm not perfect no one is and I understand your choices, I think they were fair, I might've done the same in your position. With that said, giving them any thoughts or concerns will just be the thing they needed to fuel even worst practices. I see how you had a win-win perspective on it, I did too. However, publicly calling the anonymous out will only result in quickly transforming this into a loss-loss and in the process, you might impact that tasty little nugget you earned for yourself. In my opinion, they are not worth it. You did what you thought was right with honest and fair, equitable intentions. That's all that matters and when it no longer, you can decide then what your morality needs to be at that point in time.

andrew moon

Keep up the hard work; you deserve to be paid.

namtna

Let the freeloaders whine.

Alex

Doesn't matter to me bro. Keep up the good work and keep making more mods and you have a lifetime subscription from me.

Phil

Your work deserve to be paid. It allow me to enjoy all potential of my graphic card RTX4070. As Bethesda doesen't provide DLSS thank you for your work. I'm proud to support you with money. Continue like that.

Liquid Wolf

Just subscribed to say keep doing what you are doing. You are good at it, so don’t worry about the negativity out there. If it starts to be overwhelming, remember you only have to meet your own expectations. Step away from the comments and criticism and go have fun. That’s why you did this in the first place - the fun.

Seia

unsubbed

Hype Performance Group

You're literally doing the work that developers should have done already. You deserve to be paid and idiots who can't bother reading details before making crazy accusations don't deserve your work.

BlazenMusic20

Whatever happens, I'm on your side

David Wall

I don't see the issue. There is a free version of 2.0 that you released entirely for free. I imagine not many people complaining work for free. However, you offer the frame generation that you had to create (I couldn't do it, so I paid you for your time) so you deserve to be paid. If they want a lesser version (no offense to the other mod author) then they can use his FG. I paid mainly for the ease and now that the game has been updated and my FG didn't break while apparently the other FG mod did, I'm even more happy with my purchase. I would have honestly paid substantially more for this mod. Just being completely honest.

David Wall

Oh yeah, not to mention, with the FIVE DOLLARS, we also get DLSS/FG for additional games. Couldn't be happier! Thanks man!

Jeff Craig

I don't mind paying, but there hasn't been an update in a while and it's still causing a lot of crashes during fast travel.

Joe James

There has been updates every few days on discord?

Daniel Shehovsov

DUDE. HOW ABOUT YOU STOP CARING WHAT DUMMIES THINK? YOURE AWESOME MAN! ACT LIKE YOU KNOW :)

Citan

Yeah, but when you are not subscriber you do not have acces to download channel, so how someone who unsubscribed can access new updates to mods?

PureDark

Actually that's what the authentication is for, so that I can allow downloads for people subscribed before, so that you can get the updates for the mods you want.

PureDark

It's actualy updated just a day ago on discord. Also make sure to select Loading Menu for Disable FG In Menus.

Dytser

Honestly i find it amazing how people are willing to spend 300-400+ dollars on a 4000 gpu and when it comes to spending 5 dollars for a mod to utilize some of those features people go "OH MY GOD THE NERVE!" I understand frustration from people but its directed wrong by being directed at you mate. If anything this is on Bethesda and Nvidia for not accurately supporting their users with features they have advertised. I will likely pop in and out of being subbed mostly since the games you generally do this for are rarely games i play. But i support the decision for actually putting it behind patreon as you deserve to get payed for the work you do.

Mihai

this is the dumbest take I have read today. I have a 4090 that I have worked my ass off to pay and I still pirate the freaking game because I do not think it is worth the money. This is my opinion and usually it only applies to me and my way of doing things. I gladly paid the $5 because I think it was a worth investment but you should not HAVE to pay to get it. PureDark and nobody is entitled to get paid for a MOD (IP that allready exists in a different form somewhere else) they implement on a game they do not own. Subscribers chose to do so out of their own volition and should be able to do so through donations, not a paywall. You are not entitled to make money from a game you do not own using DLSS/XESS/FSR or whatever that you also do not own. You do this for the love of the game and the love of improving a broken ass game, and if you make money from donations, that is great. Making Mods is not a JOB.

Beavis Butthead

You could also see it as you being a verified supporter. Which has access to more support and part of a verified community and only required to do it one time. Unlike most DRM not trusting the end user at all.

Citan

So I will still get access to download channels even if I unsubscribe? In the past it worked that when I unsubscribed I wasnt able to download or update any mods you put in those channels becasue I didnt see it.

Benji Counter

Thank you, starfield mid plz do gta v/fivem next youl'll attract alot of new subs. And fivem could really use fg since its so cpu intensive

Dan Gir

DENUVO DENUVO DENUVO !!! please integrate DENUVO drm

Ben Willock

FFXIV doesn't have motion vectors so I don't think it'd be easy or even possible to get DLSS working. Not sure about frame gen, but I can't imagine it'd look very good even if it does work.

PureDark

Yes with the new authentication I can allow for former patron to download free updates.

Actuallyhappy

Spending money on any luxury goods is the business of the one paying and not yours. Your criticism of me paying for A but not for B is telling nothing. But I have something: Puredark is NOT making >25.000 € per month because he enforces DRM. He makes that amount of money because he mods what people want. He got over 6000 new subscribers (5 € each MINIMUM) since Starfield released! He clearly does not need DRM. This dude is set for life next year.

assist_shoals_2d

I unsubscribed, not because I had a problem with the DRM, but because trying to make DRM sound like a good thing as the consumer is just distasteful. DRM is already a stupid idea that only hurts honest customers, but saying its a win for me feels like a slap in the face.

Heaven Shin

Thank you for the job and the communication ^^. You're awesome for doing what Bethesda will never do.

Voeid

@Mihai Of course it is a job, a full time job at that. He's putting in the hours to work on, release and keep a new mod updated every month and he sets a price for his work, you can choose to pay it or not, no one is forcing you. Just because you only consider waking up at 6am to work as a garbage man for 8 hrs a day 5 days a week a REAL JOB, doesn't make it so - you are just conditioned to think this way by the late stage capitalism regime buddy.

PureDark

Well I wouldn't be able to distribute free updates for people only subscribed for one mod without leaking it for everyone else if not for an authentication. It's nothing different than just using the discord roles or patreon post access, but instead it's on the mod side so that I can allow everyone to download the updates but only people who had the access can use it.

assist_shoals_2d

I respect the thinking involved, but your mod has already been cracked and leaked so it becomes a detriment only to paying customers. I totally appreciate your hard work and think it is excellent stuff, but if someone wants to pay they will and if they don't, they won't. DRM only hurts honest customers in the end.

Chris Bardwell

umm... bethesda just announced DLSS coming in a future update. PureDark did great work on his and it was basically a god send at release, but we are getting official support. As for Puredark, Keep up the great work man. The modding community needs ya, lol.

Plazma

this made my game run at 60 with no frame drops you dd what the developers did not thank you!!!!

Chutmeg

In my opinion, whoever PureDark is, this individual put in the time and energy to implement a feature the developers did not include, due to what I assume is because of a partnership with AMD due to the Scarlett GPU in the Series X. They picked up where the developers couldn't or didn't, so for them to ask for a small compensation is, in my opinion, more than fair. Some people spend more on a cup of Starbucks daily. For a one time purchase, you're getting a mod that's constantly receiving support to ensure it's functional. I understand modding is is something most individuals do as a labor of love, but people I think take for granted the amount of time it takes to develop and implement one. If you want to complain about $5 going to a single developer as a one-time cost, then next time you become the developer and then you won't have to pay for it. Until then, stop hating someone for using this as an opportunity and instead direct your frustration towards the developer for purposely withholding features, well-knowing the community will handle it at no additional expense for them. But again, this is just my opinion. Great work PureDark, and thank you for improving my experience with this game drastically.

Kumra

Quick, lets cancel, Bethesda are adding support for DLSS :P

noodlehat

Stop blowing up my inbox with your bitch posts damn

Genius Vainglory

Is there a problem with what's currently being used? Is there privacy concerns or something because of the DRM? I don't really know anything about it.

Genius Vainglory

Is official support going to have frame generation?

namtna

If you don't think it's worth the money then don't pay. If you pirate then it's worth something but you just want it for free. Stop looking for excuses you fucking thief

Samuel

Anyone saying this is okay or in any way justified is far too ignorant to realize their own stupidity. People are not okay with this because of the precedent it sets for modding in the future, not just because this loser decides he's entitled to get paid for modding a product that he didn't even create. I'll be joining the unsub wagon and will happily re-sub if Pure decides to walk this back and apologize. Modding should be free for the community as you are not entitled to get paid for modifying a game you did not create just like how a streamer is not entitled to a paycheck just because they decide to stream. To clarify I have no issue with someone requesting donations for their work, however actively going out of your way to force people to pay for your work is purely destructive and will only lead to all mods being pay-walled in the future.

Michael Gossett

"Making Mods is not a JOB." This is the dumbest take I have read today.

Loui2

@Mihai I can't be mad about DRM because the guy works to create these mods. I personally believe people are entitled to get paid for providing products, services, and labor. By your logic I can't get paid for providing un-official support to users of Microsoft Windows 11. Just because I did not create Windows 11, does not mean I can't work a job that involves getting paid to provide support to people who use Windows 11...

lil_vinci

uhh, you do realize to make this it's not simply drag and drop somebody has to code it. So no he did he did create a product its just the framework to get dlss to work. Also your argument is essentially you shouldn't be able to charge for what you make.

Samuel

Because I want to support developers who care to deliver a quality product and support someone who has put hard work into a project. But back then I did not feel forced to support him. Now I feel as if my subscription was literally owed to him in his opinion which is simply pathetic.

Samuel

Lmao you’re exactly the retards I was referring to. First off I literally stated I have no problem with developers of mods making money but rather that it should not be expected as a gateway to receive said mod. This inherently proves you didn’t properly read my comment. Secondly tell that to the hundreds and thousands of mod developers who created entire new areas for games like Skyrim yet didn’t charge a fucking cent. Dumbasses will always be dumbasses 🤦‍♂️

Samuel

Just because you work hard on something does not mean you are owed for said hard work. The same way a streamer on twitch is not owed money by it’s viewers just because they are putting in the hard work to stream every day. That’s fucking ridiculous.

Loui2

You can freely decide to pay or not, no one is forcing you. We don't owe him for his hard work, you don't have to pay him. However if they decide they want to make sure their creation is only able to be acquired and used by their patrons on patreon, then that is their decision and they are free to attempt to do so.

Samuel

Actually that’s literally the definition of forcing dumb ass. As this was at the time the only option to be able to play the game at a reasonable frame rate. Him locking it behind a paywall is what prompted many people to make their own version which I will add are completely free and make his work obsolete now, however they didn’t exist at the time. Therefore yes that is a form of forceful behavior.

Loui2

No one is forcing you to pay for this. I'm forced to pay taxes out of my income or suffer the consequences of the law, however no one forced me to pay for PureDarks DLSS mod. It's not his fault Bethesda did not originally provide the necessary function you need to run this game properly. You're not mad at me, you're mad at PureDark and again, he can do as he pleases with his time, work, product, code, etc... As long as he is within the confines of the law and does not care about the hate he receives from the DRM.

Samuel

Actually no he can’t… Legally speaking this is an issue as he is stealing code from a pre-existing game and selling it as his own product with alteration. Maybe you should check yourself before you keep looking like an even bigger dumbass 😂

Samuel

And yes having the only product available on the market of that type stolen from a pre-existing product is absolutely still forceful. The difference between your tax reference is that the government is owed your money because they provide things such as governmental programs that provide the poor with housing and food. God you’re fucking stupid.

Samuel

Besides, I’m not mad at you nor PureDark. I just simply think this is a retarded move on his part and this can be shown by the fact that people have already cracked his encryption of his dumbass product.

Loui2

Not all countries have the same laws/regulations and he does not seem to be breaking Patreon TOS. Also insulting does not make you more correct.

Samuel

That’s completely irrelevant as the game itself is based in the US and therefor Dark must follow the US regulations. I never said anything about him breaking Patreon TOS. The insults are simply me having fun, they are not intended to strengthen my argument. My articulate wording on the other hand and factual statements are what make my insults justified and all the more hilariously true.

Loui2

If his country does not have laws against this and does not care about US laws, he does not have to follow US laws. The only thing left to follow and obey is Patreon TOS or else he would not be here still selling his mods. Lets say he is based in China, why does he have to follow US law when creating/modifying it and selling a product based on that creation/modification? I use China as an example because it seems they don't have copyright laws like we do and people seem to do this all the time over there. That's why I bring up Patreon TOS, is there something in the TOS stating this?

Samuel

Bro are you really that stupid? I said the game he is modding follows US regulations and therefore so must he. It’s completely irrelevant which country he is from. Regardless you’re completely ignoring half my points because you clearly lack the capacity to prove them wrong so have a great day. I refuse to waste my time with fanboys like yourself that refuse to acknowledge facts over feeling.

Loui2

Why MUST he, in the case that he is NOT USA based? If his country does not have these laws you speak of and the country does not care about USA laws and regulations, WHY must he still follow USA laws and regulations? The game "following US regulations" is itself completely irrelevant if he is not in the USA or a country that cares about USA laws/regulations/demands and those regulations are not being enforced upon him. It is relevant what country he is from because that would decide if USA laws and regulation will be enforced upon him, in which case he would HAVE to follow them or face the legal consequences. And the reason I'm ignoring half your points is because your making multiple posts and I'm only able to see the new ones after refreshing the page.

Samuel

Because he bought the game therefore accepting US regulations when purchasing a US game dumbass. Jesus Christ you’re literally just arguing for the sake of arguing. Again check yourself…

Samuel

And again this is not a product purely of his own hard work. This is a product of stolen code which does follow US regulations as well…

Loui2

You have defeated me! He bought as US game therefore he must do all that US wishes! See I can have fun too and I don't even have to insult you for it.

Samuel

Indeed that is true. When you purchase a game you agree to specific terms regulated by either the game devs themselves or the platform the game was purchased on which I might add is also based in the US. Have a good night bro. I’m truly not going to waste my time with this hilarious shit. I’m insulting you because it’s fun to insult someone who refuses to use any basic level of genuine logic. Not because I think of myself as greater than you. Jesus bro.

Loui2

So you make a game in US and sell it to me in Russia. Why do I have to follow your rules or your countries rules? Sure maybe I have enough respect for you to do so after we agreed to it, but unless your going to come over here and do something about it, I can do what I want with your game if my country does not enforce.

Samuel

Bro I said I’m not dealing with your stupidity any longer. Goodnight 😂

Loui2

If I did live in Russia and you came to do something about it, remember you would have to follow Russian laws and regulations. And if those Russian laws, regulations, and courts don't care what are you going to do about it? Fight me? Sure but you will go against Russian laws I'm sure.

Samuel

Russian piece of shit. Just wait until your country gets nuked 😂

Loui2

Well if I was a Russian in Russia and I survived the nuke and moved to USA. Then I guess I would have to really abide by USA laws and regulations. No more stealing and locking away my mods behind DRM :(

Samuel

Sounds like you’re either a PureDark alt or you’re a modding piece of scum just like him. Either way I hope you go with the rest of them 😂

Loui2

Well I can only wish you peace, love and happiness. I hope PureDark reads every concern their patrons have and I hope he carefully considers what they have to say. Even if those concerns may be sprinkled with some insults.

Samuel

Lmao thanks you sick bastard. I bet you get off on this shit

Loui2

Only a little bit 😉 (I'm not PureDark)

PureDark

I mean did you ever pay for a lightning to 3.5mm connecter or did you pay for a cellphone protect case? They don't work alone but works for specific products, but that isn't illegal. What I made was a connector that connects DLSS and the game, while I don't own DLSS nor the game I own my own connector.

Samuel

That is the dumbest example I have every heard bro… Those companies literally had to ask for permission and pay fees to create said products for said devices. You guys out of country really don’t seem to understand our laws at all…

Samuel

Not to mention these things you mentioned are universal devices. They work for multiple devices from multiple companies. Your mod steals code from pre existing companies hard work and altered it only slightly to create your own product. In other words you simply are making money off of a mod you specifically created per game not a mod that that works universally…

PureDark

I understand the hostility towards DRM and I am rethinking it but getting paid for one's work isn't something that should be accused for, it works for certain product doesn't mean it's not something I coded myself.

Samuel

I never said you shouldn’t get paid for your work. I simply said it shouldn’t be forced. You should ask for donations as I was someone who was happy to support you back then. Now that you’re heavily showing how badly you want this mod to be locked behind a paywall and doubling down on it the morals behind that are what I have a problem with.

PureDark

My mod did not steal any existing code from the game. You are saying something you don't know about. Hooking works totally different than stealing codes.

Samuel

You are setting a precedent for future modders to charge fees for their mods. Not to mention locking your mods behind protection. The only reason you’re reconsidering is because theirs now other mods that do the exact same thing on Nexus mods but are free.

Samuel

You did indeed need to grab pre-existing code from the game to hook, yes. It was simply altered to allow for it to be compatible with this game specifically. If that wasn’t the case then this mod would work universally with any game running the same engine.

Samuel

At the end of the day you lost my money and you’ll lose a ton of other peoples for this event. I really do support mod creators, however don’t support this behavior regarding them. I strongly suggest you keep that in mind if you desire to continue making money off your mods as I can assure you far more people will donate willingly than the amount of people that will pay forcefully.

PureDark

Understand how the game runs and coding to handle it doesn't mean it contains codes from the game, you literally know nothing about programming. You are accusing literally any software with d3d hooks. About said example, you don't need a license for making a product that works for specific product. Apple has a MFI Program for certified products but that's more like a certification, products that doesn't join MFI Program can still be sold legally, you can google it. I have been providing my service and all my mods as a package and a subscription. You have no moral high ground to accuse me of anything. Making hooks for specific games isn't illegal. Nor did I break any law by calling DLSS's api. You are simply making accuses without really digging into the laws.

PureDark

I already said I understand the rage for this, and I'll reconsider it because of how many people think. I am only arguing your standpoint. I mean I might think of another way than DRM to allow for distribute free updates for only who have subscribed without leaking it to everyone, but I don't like to be accused of not owning my own implementation.

PureDark

If you look into this from a techincal view, you'll see my mod is simply a standalone dll which contains my own code for injection, it doesn't contain game assets, the DLSS dll is allowed to be distributed or the user can also download it anywhere else. Just because it works for certain game doesn't make it ilegal or you'll have to inform me which line of law bans a product from hooking.

Samuel

You do realize in the ULA for these games it does in fact say that you cannot charge fees for mods created for the game, right? So maybe you should check your own facts before you come crying like a child about losing money. It pathetic to see a mod owner fight so hard just to take money from people whom are desperate for a mod that will allow better performance in their game. My knowledge of the logistics is completely irrelevant, however that’s what you’re pinpointing because it’s the only high ground you actually have. I have every right to be frustrated when i see my money going to a scummy piece of shit like yourself. The more you type the more I realize I’m glad people are pirating your content and releasing arguably better mods than yours for free. I don’t know why you think arguing with me is going to get you anywhere other than further convince me of why I shouldn’t give you my money ever again. Lastly you’re completely missing my point on the accessory argument. While you’re partially correct I will again reiterate that these products are universal products that work for all devices, not just apple devices. Products made specifically for apple devices do in fact have to pay fees and acquire patent bypass approval to create said products.

Samuel

I never said you don’t own the implementation but rather that you don’t get to claim you deserve money for adding a feature to a game that other people created. Must I remind you that entire mods have been created for Skyrim to add entirely new areas for completely free. This is what true modding used to be. It’s people like you that are trying to ruin that. Look at how Steam tried to pull this shit years ago and failed miserably. The backlash was incredible and great to see. You’ll face the same backlash as you deserve to.

Samuel

Like I said I really don’t care about the legality of it all but rather the morality that you feel so entitled to money that you clearly don’t deserve nor appreciate.

PureDark

Well since it's not made with creation kit, and is a standalone dll, I do not have to agree to any ULA, actually it's the user using it that's breaking TOS, the fact that you are saying things is different when it's universal or not is being ignorant. And with your constant insults I can't really do this anymore. You do what you think is best.

Samuel

Again you’re far too focused on the legality of it which you obviously don’t understand. You did indeed need to purchase a copy of the game to create this mod and therefore absolutely agreed to the the terms of purchase. Not to mention your mod wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for the people who worked their asses off on this game. Again streamers don’t charge people to simply watch their stream. They arguably provide just as much hard work as you do if not more and most make it by really well simply off of donations alone which you too are fully capable of. I don’t have time to argue anymore tonight either so that’s fine by me. But nothing I said was at all an insult but rather pure fact. Me and many others will happily pull our money from a project this scummy as they should. Have a good one bro.

Stained

It's kinda bizarre that you talk about entitlement when you're demanding that someone else's work should be free just because. Also, you should probably read up on how these "mods" work. The fact that you're comparing what Puredark is doing to streaming, off all things, is hilarious and shows that you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Literally anyone can stream. Not everyone can write a plugin that allows DLSS to work on a specific game. Go to bed. You're embarrassing yourself.

Stained

"Him locking it behind a paywall is what prompted many people to make their own version" You mean one person. Only one other person has a Frame Generation mod and theirs doesn't work nearly as well as Puredark's mod. Your stupidity makes you insufferable. More so because you don't realise how stupid you are and actually believe yourself to be intelligent.

Samuel

Really bro? Don’t tell me your one of those assholes who thinks streaming isn’t just as hard as coding. If it’s so damn easy go start a stream and get back to me when you’re making a solid income off of it. But fine, say I placate you. Another perfect example is literally every other mod in existence. There are literal entire extras areas that have been added to games like Skyrim for the whopping price tag of… Free! Now also get this. You know the mod your paying $5 a month for? Well that feature has been officially announced to be added into Starfield in the next patch! You know what that means? PureDarks mod is completely irrelevant and you wasted your money 😂

Samuel

Actually there are multiple. Not sure how hard you looked but apparently it was that extensive at all. Not to mention his mod has already been cracked by multiple people and is published on multiple web sights. Hell even mainstream news articles are posting how to download this cracked version because they agree locking it behind a paywall is bullshit. With all that being said I will also reiterate the devs are releasing true DLSS to the game next path aka in a week tops. Therefore your argument is completely irrelevant

Samuel

You should probably shut the hell up before you embarrass yourself further 😂

Samuel

Looks like Pure wasted his time and you wasted your money bro.

Stained

Streaming isn't "just as hard as coding". And mods that directly alter Skyrim's code are free. But this mod does not directly alter Skyrim's code. It runs on top of Skyrim without using Bethesda's code. Also, you should do more research in general. You don't need Apple's permission to make adapters or phone covers. Most of what you say is absolutely BS and you're clearly clueless and out of your depth here.

Samuel

You’re not one to talk. Again show me your channel revenue with you making a stable income. Streaming as a job is indeed just as difficult as it’s not as simple as “turning on a camera.” Do you not realize there’s an entire process to how these streamers learn algorithms and have to constantly find ways to keep people not only happy but entertained. God you people are so ignorant. Besides, I see you ignored every other one of my points which is absolutely hilarious

Stained

There are multiple DLSS mods, but only two Frame Generation mods. You clearly don't even know what you're arguing about. That Starfield is getting native DLSS support is great. Not sure why you think that you're onto some kind of gotcha.

Samuel

Oh my god bud, you’re hopeless… Starfield getting native support means you paying for this mod was completely pointless! How stupid can you possibly be? It’s not a gotchya, it’s a literal fact 😂

Stained

I paid $5 for a mod that doubled my framerate and that I will have used for weeks and probably even months before Bethesda officially implements DLSS3 FG themselves. I'm completely fine with that. Quick reminder that if you're posting here, you paid just as much as I did. But only one of us is angry at having paid money for a mod we both used. Cope and seethe.

Stained

You are hands-down the stupidest person I've encountered in a long time. Just reading through this post, you clearly don't know anything about programming or modding, you don't know anything about intellectual property law, you don't know anything about international law, you don't know anything about manufacturing and selling cellphone accessories, etc. Is there anything you do actually know something about? Other than being the world's biggest dimwit, of course.

Samuel

Good for you man. Shove the fact that you don’t value $5 down my throat all you want but to me that’s not worth it when I could have gotten the mod for free from multiple sources and feel bad that I even supported a modded who has fostered such a toxic community. People like you are the exact reason this whole idea of locking mods behind a paywall is dangerous as fuck. Yes I paid into this authors work because I simply enjoyed his previous mods. Funny enough I don’t even play Starfield and couldn’t care less about this specific mod. But never in my life did I think I would see the day when people would normalize having to drop $5 just to have a mod they can get for free. If you’re happy with wasting your money good for you, but that does not mean your entitled ass gets to tell me to just shut up about not being happy I wasted my money on this bullshit. If I could take it back I happily would but the next best thing I have is canceling my sub which is exactly what me and many others have done I might add. I’m by far not in the minority here. You’re simply in an echo chamber of many others who also want to justify to themselves that they did not waste their money when they clearly did. Some of us charring every penny we get as there’s this thing in America that you may not be affected by if you live out of the country called inflation. It’s hitting people like a bitch right now. So yes I’m going to bitch and complain about every penny I spend that I regret spending if I factually feel it was put in the wrong place

Samuel

Dude I literally work at a phone store. I know exactly what I’m talking about as I have access to information you don’t have access to. Clearly you’re the dumbass here. I’ll happily admit that I have no knowledge of coding but I do not in any capacity need knowledge of coding to know that this is immoral and simply a waste of money. Go cry into your pile of money and shut the fuck up you ignorant piece of shit.

Stained

My dude, there is only one other source that has a FRAME GENERATION (pay attention to these 2 words) mod and it's not nearly as good as PureDark's. Sorry that you have buyer's remorse. Nobody forced you to pay Puredark. You paying $5 is entirely on you, especially as someone who apparently isn't even using the mod in question. Your buyer's remorse is not our problem to deal with. I'll also remind you that you are the one who was being toxic right from the start. People were responding to you civilly, and you started calling them retards and shit and told them that you were insulting them just for entertainment when they called you out on your insults. You don't get to complain about toxicity when you're behaving like that, you damn barrel of toxic waste. If $5 is enough to cause you to cry this hard and become this salty and toxic, you have much bigger problems and you shouldn't be donating to Patreons to begin with. Seek financial help, and psychiatric help while you're at it. You damn clown.

Night Strike

I'm just going to say one thing as it's quite literally how life works. You get paid for the work you do. If you choose to do it for free, that is your choice, but you are well within your rights to be paid for your labour.

xbox360_minecraft

>DRM is already a stupid idea that only hurts honest customer In what way does DRM used in this mod hurt the honest customer?

TheXboxSux .

Only Bethesda purists talk like this. On any other game he's added DLSS3 support for, people are happy to have him around. The second he adds support for a BGS game he's a "CoN mAn FoR cHaRgInG mOnEy." You must have the same feelings about Marty Mcfly with his RTGI Reshade plugins. Never have I seen such entitled snots as the kids that play Bethesda games... Grow up

Mad

Somehow your take is even worse...

Mad

Mad

Bethesda said that DLSS was coming but they didn't say anything about Frame Gen. Keep in mind it took months to get the official support for some games. We'll need this mod for longer than some think

assist_shoals_2d

Because it adds a level of inconvenience not experienced by the pirate. For example, if I buy a product with no DRM, then I am free to use and archive that product as I see fit essentially forever. If a product has DRM then I am subject to restrictions while the pirate would have the freedom to use it however they wish. With this mod, while I didn't experience any issues with authenticating, imagine that the server that handles authentication requests shuts down, now you have a useless mod that you paid for.

Chrisbee

I cancelled my subscription renewal as soon as you added the DRM. I was happy to support you, but once you decided to force things you lost that support. I wont be back when my sub expires.

PureDark

That's really where the most confusion of mine comes from. I don't know maybe it's a culture thing, from my understanding it's only fair to be paid for the job one has done and for one's skill, cuz that's how any man makes a living, and donation is shameful because it's like asking for mercy. But maybe many people would still like mods to be donation-based rather than just paying.

mstk

Excuse me, where can I check the detailed specifications for DRM? I use Steam to enjoy MOD games on multiple PCs. Is that possible? Of course, I will be the only one using it and won't launch them simultaneously.

Mad

DLSS yes, Frame Gen is unlikely

Mad

We're all grateful for the hard work but it's not about money, it's just how he did it. And he knows that perfectly well.

lil_vinci

its a one time Auth so you wont have to Authenticate ever again. meaning it doesn't matter if the server goes offline. The only thing this DRM inconveniences is people who dont want to pay. becasue its just a one time check with patreon to see if you were subscribed.

lil_vinci

I doubt they will add frame gen until FSR 3 is released.

lil_vinci

So you changed your argument to some developers did something for free so now nobody is allowed to charge for their work. Right, clearly your not the dumb ass, That's why your job is to sell, phones, because everybody knows people who sell phones are at the pinnacle of our society and all geniuses.

eimgi

I subbed for your mods. But, using an DRM is not very fair. Yes, it's an hard work for you and the DRM can justify the price of your work. But, it would be better to let us choose between sub to thank you, support you and the mod is freely use or paid for getting the mod + support you. Personally, that's i would be prefered, the first option is much better even if i can still use the mod after my subscription

Sam

Came for the DLSS with ENB test mod for Skyrim SE. Wouldn't have even known there was DRM in any of your mods if I didn't see this post. Sorry but I can't support you now that I do. I wont be back

lil_vinci

the DRM doesn't prevent you from using it after you unsub. In fact I'm pretty sure hes adding a way to still get updates after you unsub.

Soulshot96

How dare he protect his work. /s Bye Felicia.

Soulshot96

His mod being cracked/leaked does not in any way, shape or form invalidate his use of DRM. Getting it from the source is still the safest and easiest way, and that won't change. DRM is not and never has been about full on locking pirates out of a product, that's virtually impossible; it's about raising the barrier for entry for them. As for the rest of this, PureDark has a very valid point about providing updates to previously subbed users, and it's a great way to get additional utility out of this system tbh. The cons far outweigh the negatives here, at least if you're not a dweeb that doesn't want to support the creator of a product you enjoy.

PureDark

Yeah I wrote about my confusion about it. I have been raised and educated to think that making it a paid service is honest living than living on donations. But obviously making it at least look like a donation-based service is actually more acceptable in other area? I don't know man, I never thought making a living with one's own programing skill is shameful, maybe only because it's called mods so people are more sensitive to the appearence than the true nature.

PureDark

Well that's the thing. I didn't add DRM for over 9 months. All the old ones don't have it. And I added it because of provocation of people sharing my mods on public platfroms and insulted me. And now I found that with a proper authentication I can distribute free updates of specific mod for people who only subbed for one month and that's a good usecase and that's it.

PureDark

Is it possible, you can use the same account to pass authentication on multiple PC. I literally have no limitation for any subscribers.

Wesley Burns

Using this mod will probably save you more in electricity than the $5. Thanks for the good work.

Samuel Holland

Sorry to hear about all the people being ugly. Thank you for sharing this and working on it. I especially like the menu that you access while in game.

Maestro298

Just heard about last anti crack system, people are just crying right now for cracking your mod lmao. Imagine crying because you are punished for doing something illegal, like stealing other work.

Kalle

People expect things for free, I believe you should get paid for your work! Don't pay too much attention to those entitled people that want things for free.

Joey Costello

Just skip your Starbucks this morning and you've paid for this man's support in enjoying your games.

Homer of Simpsonia

I am unsubbing. I'll continue doing so no matter what you say if you're using DRM.

Grateful_User

I just subbed to spite the reddit choosingbeggars and I don't even have an nvidia card. keep up the great work!

Jaynan

Limited critical thinking.

William

Well, I’m undoing Grateful_Users work because I don’t want my PC running mods that has traps left for pirates, that could potentially trip for me.

Pav Osmolski

Trying to combat pirates will have the opposite effect, increasing competition. That's just how it works whenever any kind of DRM is involved. Stay humble, and good luck.

PureDark

I know, I've decided to leave them aside and never care about them anymore. But IGN decided to publish an article. I was interviewed like 20 days ago back when I was angry, but then I've long decided to give up on fighting back cuz it ain't worth it. I totally forgot about IGN for 20 days, now they just brought me more unwanted attention.

PureDark

Read my recent statement, it was a long time ago and was only anger words, I've long decided not to do it. I don't know why IGN took this long to post something that's ages old and outdated.

Emi

Damn journalists. DRM or not, you're still the amazing PureDark. Keep up the great work!

Pav Osmolski

I totally understand. You're in the spotlight, and it can be tough to balance everything. You'll be fine though. I believe it, and hopefully you do too 🙏 Keep doing awesome work.

Bob Dravs

Never would have even known you existed if it hadn't been for the choosingbeggars losing their minds about something that is frankly none of their business.

Eduardo Mazieri

First of all great job on the mods, seems to work rather well and was easy to set up. I understand your thought process with the DRM, but in the end, like you have concluded yourself, it's not worth it. It's never worth it. - Vast majority of those who pirate either won't or can't pay. DRM won't change that. - Crafting the DRM is extra work for you. - Cracking the DRM is extra work for pirates. But, there's a lot more of them than there are of you. - DRM hits your reputation, lowering your potential revenue. Gamers who would apply mods are specially sensitive to it. Reputation affects revenue a lot more than piracy. Due to the points above, even though you had great intentions, it's more work, more stress, less revenue, so it's actually a lose-lose. I would also suggest you consider open-source with creative commons type license. Let the many busy themselves with improving upon your work, instead of cracking it. That's the true win-win.

NotPareidolia

Not only that but it turn off some people that were willing to pay to begin with.

ScanLiner

Man, you chinese people are too pragmatic. And that's not bad, just something to consider

aweigh

Well said, Homer. No mod is worth putting up with some deranged modder's whims.

Sakea_sango

Whaaaat?! Can i really use mods if i already subscribe him patreon for once? I did it once my old windows install and now i did it again.

stevann lecoq

hello where can i get dlss framegen mod of avatar please

Anthony Smith

Thanks a lot for the mods, wanted to come here myself to see what you were going through. You provide stellar service \compensation and recognition should come with that

Anthony Smith

Thanks for the service and for speaking up for yourself! Deserve to get compensated for your stellar work! Hats off!

Ok

Thank you for your mods

Gareth Perks

As "bad" as DRM is; it really works. Ubisoft and PureDark have successfully converted me from freeloader to subscriber by using it. Since I can afford an RTX 40 card and a uplay sub; I can also afford $5pm without whining. I will remain subscribed as long as there is new content.

LovelessPunk

Appreciate your hard work, glad to pay for hard work.

Navarion

Read about your work. Saw also comments on you allowing downloads only with subscription. Thought about it, read reviews and decided to subscribe for a year. Reason why we pay for a rtx4xxx is that we want max quality in the games and if someone invests lots of work improving those games its well worth the effort to support. Keep up the good work.

Doogem

you did good bro, honest pay for a day's work thank you and we appreciate what you do

Roman V

Ok so the author made a really needed mod. I didn't need to fuss if it conflict if it's all the mirriad thing's and doo dads that mods come with. IT JUST WORKS. I needed some questions answered. The guy answered me and explained stuff. I don't like paying for mods...but now...I can honestly say it depends. Because his mod is better than the real nvidia frame generation and it has dlss presets and depth fix. Basicaly all the things ubisoft fucked up with. So do I really need to hemorrhage that fiver if I paid 2k for a gpu...really???

Ryan Mcguinn

A lot of gamers are some of the most entitled consumers on the planet. The industry has issues with greed and shipping bad products. But at the same time a lot of gamers want 100 hours of fully polished AAA level gameplay that is bug free, innovative and compelling. But they also don't want to spend more than $20 on it most of the time lol. These same people will be lazy once a week and order Uber eats on McDonald's for $35 for a couple like warm cheeseburgers they have to microwave lmao. Don't worry about it man. You're providing an excellent service. Obviously a talented engineer doing shit these game companies should be doing themselves. There's a hole in the market and you're filling that need. I was considering getting a 4080 or something since some games are demanding on my Ultrawide for my 3070. But frame generation mods are gonna have me hold out until the 5000 series. For $5 that's a steal. But hell I'll just stay subscribed. $60 a year for a working adult is peanuts. Playing Skyrim at 3440x1440 with 1300 mods at 120fps is so good.

Sir Bughunter

Thank you so much for explaining this and making it obviously consumer FRIENDLY. I will make sure to support you further down the road. Such ethical practices deserve all the support anyone can give to you via this platform. It's literally a win win for every ethical person who has a few dollars left every year. 🙏

brandon church

You're skyrim frame generation mod literally changed the game for me. Thank you for your service my friend. I did not mind having to pay a little for it.

R3V0LV3R0C3L0T

Thank you for your work, people just don't read.
