My chosen topic will be "Protecting Your Children from Evil". There's lots I want to say on the topic as our children are under assault like never before. Might lead it off with a prayer too!

Thank you Nutn. God bless.

Yesss! Good timing. Having my first kid in July.

Adam

100% right on topic!

VTFlatlander

We need to protect our kids or were doomed as a culture

Todd Strelka

Absolutely! Thank you for your insight into this topic. I look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Andrew Baldwin

Excellent topic! One I think about constantly as a new father and a teacher. It's a scary world out there for these kids.

my wife is in her 2nd full year of home schooling my youngest 3 boys. We faced a 2 pronged assault, wako teachers who are educated in woke policies and crappy kids who had parents with no values, that 2 pronged bad influence was too much anymore. "Sodomite Supremacy" was the norm in the schools and is actually taught as bravery and better than straight. My wife has found purpose in homeschooling the kids. she will say its very hard and lacks reward, but I see her having much purpose as a mother doing it. This is how society was supposed it be. it was never send your kids to daycare essentially. Its was mothers teach the kids, Dad's make the money and provide. The left hates this model because, if moms were moms and dads were dads there wouldn't be many leftists anymore. The democrats would be like JFK was and not commie leftists. oh one other interesting thing, my 9 year old begged to go back to school. He craves the social aspect. about 3 months ago we took him back. after 2 years of homeschool I was worried about his level of education. What we found is he was actually ahead of his class. If parents took 2 hours a day they could complete the education public schools are spending and entire day doing. Its glorified daycare. My son is back home now, The teacher sucked.

Great topic, seems that more and more the "society" and big government are trying to indoctrinate our children into a meaningless life. Bad values and the demasculination of men is tearing down our society. Weak men bring tough times.

Get kids off of “social media”. Flat out. I don’t have kids yet but my cousins and my brother do. We need to make it not a finger wagging thing they’ll rebel against - rather be flat out honest about it’s addictiveness.

Yea for sure it's a challenge. Storytime is a necessary daily occurrence I think. My kids are old enough now (6 & 9) that they can handle the old Grimm fairy tales. We will be starting those soon. They also have liked the select biblical stories I've read them thus far. Every so often, we'll watch a short video detailing the life of a saint, too, which they love. Figure if they have a foundation of high quality stories, they will notice that other new "stories" are merely perversions of the good ones.

Tiktok is a big one. I've seen countless people start spewing Marxist ideologies after consuming it. 1. Societal issue - usually the result of leftist programs failing 2. Stir viewer to emotion 3. Blame capitalism, conservatives, values 4. Marxist utopian image patches it all up 5. Repeat ad nauseam China actively pushes that content but they will not show it in their own country.

Nutn - I am just going to say thank you. I don't get to interact much on here. Just consumed by the urgent. I appreciate being able to flip one of these vids on and listen to it while I handle the multitude of unimportant but urgent crap that pops up in my life. You are a welcome diversion Sir. - Take care man.

Lets go! btw my pvs-14 just arrived yesterday... I welcome a philosophy video that will not cost me thousands... hahaha. I'm already spending about $19,000 sending my children to an amazing Christian school in our area but that is just another one of the extra costs associated with still living in Illinois.

Patrick Brichta

Simple, keep them away from social media.

Gilbert Cuzdey Jr

I look forward to it. You know I have a lot of thoughts on this based off what happened to us.

Rusty Chains

Read to your kids and encourage them to learn to read. Pay close attention to what they are expected to learn in school since much of it is propaganda, and in some places a significant portion of that advocates sexual perversions.

OPVS14: you'll never regret having it! So glad you're taking care of your kids and you're scoring needed gear

Turn the glass toilet aka the TV off. Don't let them have smart phones until they old and mature enough to use them responsibly. There are still flip phones that are just regular cell phones to make and receive phone calls. Install programs like "net nanny," or others that filter out things like pron, facebook, tik tok, and other websites that promote garbage. Get them outside to touch some grass. Teach them some outdoor skills. If you can swing take them out of public school and home school. The Biggest thing is for parents to be involved in their child's lives. Don't be a helicopter parent, however don't treat your kids like an accessory.

Can’t wait for this! We spend the money to send our Children to a Private Christian School. We have zero trust in the public school system. Also, besides Social Media. Be careful of what movies are out there. I had to have a conversation with one of my children on why we don’t support Disney + and don’t watch their movies. It’s also important to get your kids in the outdoors early. Go fishing, or just explore with them and allow their imagination to run wild

Charles New

Can't wait, with 4 grandsons it's going to be a full time job.

J Ram

I was lucky enough to be able to take my second out of public and have Mrs JRam homeschool (and she's done a kick-ass job btw), but for those who don't have the ability to do that....how can parents fight the 40+ hours of week of indoctrination their kids are getting from PS school and raise good people? What are some techniques/practices the avg parent can do to regain their role from the State? For instance, I started taking my daughter out to breakfast every other week and discussing a topical events or a PragerU video or just check in to get a feel for how things are going with her.

Say the prayer, Divine reasoning is surely needed.

Bluegill097

More prayer is definitely needed in the world.

Zack Harris

Looking fwd to this one Nutn! Pulled our Jr highers out of public n joined a coop after ronna. Thriving now! Engaged in activities they like, church groups, vol work, family adventure, lead by example & yes Pray on!

WILLIAM MEYER

Anxiously awaiting this Nut'n. We all know the role public schools play in the indoctrination of our children. Some of us, uh rural folks, don't have an alternative option. My Mom used to say forewarned is forearmed. Applying that life philosophy we supplemented the kids' education with field trips, dinner time discussion topics, be prepared or do the dinner dishes, etc. With planning the damage can be mitigated. Keep up the fabulous work Col.!

hoplite ⚔️

Sounds great. Looking forward to it!

BadgerTails

ToT Part Tres? Anytime soon? Here's a scary frickin Stat for you; The Wisconsin Dept of Public Instruction BRAGS that the student "reading proficiency" is at 39.1% !? Correct, THAT means 60% can't read a recipe to make dinner, much less go out and succeed in much of ANYthing! THINK of how much you need to read, to be self-sufficient, which indicates the State is literally prepping them for a slave-state!

Frank

Philosophy from nutn is basically like listening to Jordan Peterson for me . No better videos then these

Colostomybag

Yeah seriously. At this point it's home school or the small Christian school hooked on to the church. Public schools are getting insane in my area.

Gilbert Cuzdey Jr

Yup, I was homeschooled because my dad saw what was happening and my 5 year old is too. No way I'd send them to public school.

tstuts

Looking forward to it! This topic doesn’t get the attention that it deserves.
