I believe this is a repost. But I'll watch again cuz I love flashlight reviews. Acebeam P16 Defender is an amazing 18650 thrower as-well, and pretty inexpensive. I keep one in my vehicle.

Curious to see how folks respond to this comment: I get the weapon light in certain applications for a self defense role. Mostly limited fast momentary work, likely short range, since as Nutn says you are advertising your position to the whole world. Given this limitation, I'm not sure I buy the utility of a big outdoors-y weapon light. Hunting I guess would be a good use. Would love to see an updated POU video on weapon lights (on various platforms)!

If you want your light to through long distance you need high candela power not lumens. I'm not sure how the science works but it's kinda like volts and amps.

I checked the specs. The javelin mini has only 88,000 candela and the warrior x turbo has 240,000. So there's your difference in beam distance.

My rifles run Cloud Defensive Rein Gen 2 & Gen 3. The Modlite with OKW emitter appear to surpass Rein series. 100 yards is very visible using Reins; very columnated with high candela. Always open to alternatives. The Javelot Tac seems suited for home defense within 50 yards. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

I think its 600m spot distance (hey i see movement!) and under 200m recoginize (oh its bob!), not a big fan of the run time though... im used to lights mesured in hours.. not minutes
