Warehouse review of the cost effective, simple and apparently well made Benjamin Trail NP XL. It comes in several calibers and I'll show you which one I chose. It does have some quirks but once addressed it performs good enough for most POUs. I still prefer the much more accurate hard hitting FX airguns if you're getting serious, below (see my reviews). They shoot much more like a .22. This shoots like an airgun. But it's relatively cheap, doesn't require any tanks or hoses, and can kill critters to about 40 yds with proper pellet selection.

M3 Grease Gun, uh I mean...Benjamin Trail NP XL Magnum Airgun Simplicity

Got the Titan gp in 22 myself and was kinda meh... not bad but not great. But then I got the GRT-III trigger in it and it completely changed the gun. I've shot $500+ german air rifles and this trigger rivals them. Went from ok groups to easily the best non pcp gun I have. Highly recommend hunting down a grt and swapping the factory trigger, you'll be amazed.

Yeah more airgun stuff love it. I've got the Benjamin Vaporizer in 177 it's a good pop can shooter lol.

The black bugs are Boisea rubrolineata or the western boxelder bug. Yes, they can be a plague.

Every urban and rural household needs multiple airguns. I'm glad I am able to take care of pests around my suburban home. Great review.

I know I’ll be reviewing all the air gun content again in the future when I’m in the market for one. So thanks for adding it to the catalogue. Those simms hoodies are rad.

Love the airgun content. Unfortunately it sounds like crosman and Benjamin USA will be shutting down end of this year.

the airgun stuff is excellent! That's not bad accuracy for a break barrel. The FX and others similar too it are just another level and costs will be so much higher in both initial purchase and tanks plus inspections or replacement tanks down the line. Though the FX stuff is amazing and super fun!! I would love to see some high end air pistol reviews if possible. Maybe consider getting some slugs for future airgun testing and try them out at longer ranges like 100 yards and compare with some pellets. Slugs won't print as nice in shorter range but they carry a bigger punch so they can buck the wind and kill critters at further distances

Nutn the Sig Sauer ASP20 is an exceptional premium wood stock break barrel. I was impressed with the Sig craftsmanship and groupings. Unfortunately, they are hard to find. Great review. Fly, Fight, Win.

Oh yikes, i haven't seen that. Are they the same parent company?

Jacob Leage

I hope I’m wrong but here’s how I understand it. For years Velocity Outdoors has been the umbrella company that owns Crosman and Benjamin. Last spring Daisy bought out Crosman. Daisy is owned by Gamo.

Recently Crosman announced they will be shutting down their manufacturing plant in NY. My guess is Crosman and Benjamin airguns will continue but they will all be manufactured overseas. Just a guess.

Hey Nutn, I’ve recently taken a big interest in air guns, so it’s on me that the previous air gun videos may have lower views. But I’m going back to watch them! Thanks for your hard work!

Fx impacts are great! Karma airguns are even more accurate than fx, their new one the panda is amazing Both are $$$$$ I just play with 22's can't afford the pellet game, but if you got the cash it's really fun

Thanks. It's tough times, 08 gfc is having a comeback gfc 2.0 so i figure see more of this stuff happening over next few years

Far as airgun accuracy there are guys trying 30 cals at my club. So far not a total disaster but the ones sending 177 pellets at 50 yards eat em up. There have been attempts with 22 and 25 but so far the best scores at 50 yards have been 177s. Push it out to 100 yards and it changes. The 30s start to win but the 22 and 25s haven't had a lot of practice at 100 yards so not sure which is working out best at those ranges. There's also pellets vs slugs in all calibers so lots of stuff to experiment with. If i could i would jump into that game! It's neat

Love that watch. Looking forward to the review.

I went springer during the 22 shortage during the Obama admin and bought a Diana RWS 350 in 22 cal. I’ve shot and filmed the hitting of an exploding golf ball at 150 yards (16 shots) but learned about the recoil sensitivity and these guns recoil while the pellet are still within the barrel. I removed the recoil pad and drilled out the stock with a forstner bit and loaded it with lead. Helps a ton and pellet guns are great fun. I’ve taken quite a few muskrats with it over the years

Great review nutn. Link to the sunglasses please?
