Hello everyone, Happy Holidays and I hope you are all happy and well!

So as you know I have a lot of fun out-of-genre stuff in the reviews and it's been that way for some time now. I think it's a way for me and you to have more fun in a review and afterall this is mostly entertainment production here.

An example would be talking about the German Panther tank in a gun review and having a model of it there. Another would be talking about the McLaren 720S super car in a review. The props will remain in the video but this poll addresses if/how to talk about them. How would you like this integrated in the future reviews?

1 Get rid of all talk about the props. This usually will result in a much shorter video where only the item is discussed. I have done this in the past many times and most guys do not like this. I just filmed a combat shotgun review on the A300 and it's this way.

2 Keep it exactly the way it is: integrate "prop talk" in the video wherever I want to make it more interesting. Video length will be what you have seen.

3 Move prop talk to the end of the video. It will still be in the video but only comes at the end. Most videos btw have been conforming to this standard for some time now.

Now as an experienced content creator I keep lots of content pre recorded and ready to go. So those stored up videos may or may not conform to this new standard if we change it.

Thanks all!

I like the prop talk. It's even inspired me to buy some hobby master aircraft........you're bad for my wallet Nutn lol.

Dawson Rabb

I’m here because I like your style. You’re you and I hope that never changes.

Robert Avery

I vote keep it the way it is. I like your style and the props are fun

Michael the TNPr

I love the insights from the props - sometimes a mini review within the review. I definitely enjoy the props!

Alex H

I don't mind it. I voted keep it the way it is but if there was a vote on do whatever you want that would be my vote.

I think it's great that you have different styles of videos, the table top reviews, in the bunker, infield, gear reviews, philosophy. I think it's great. Also as a Canadian resident currently being disarmed by the state I personally enjoy the review videos for non gun content as it introduces me to products I can actually use. Keep up the great work Nutn

I very much consider the prop conversation as part of the review, and I appreciate their integration. Parallels, comparisons and contrasts can be drawn between the props selected and the item being reviewed. This is particularly useful in POU discussion. Additionally, they occasionally serve to "color" the conversation with miniature reviews and history lessons. Given that I'm a little ADHD (an understatement), this helps keep me engaged.

I enjoy the props. Especially the big bosom action figures!😄 In all seriousness though, keep it the way you enjoy filming. With it interspersed it seems natural and goes with your thought flow and not shoehorned in.

Leon Hudson

I'm a little ADD myself so I like the props, side comments, Nutn family cameos, etc. Gripe sessions and moto-adventure BS sessions are great too! Squirrel! Bring back the Hog.. been supporting the A-10 SPO at Hill for years. Blessed to be able to support my all time favorite military aircraft!

I could see new people coming in for a specific review of something then getting inundated with a bunch of talk on props that they may not get it. As a long time follower I get it, but imo you could be chasing off new people that are not coming to watch for that. I think its an acquired taste and may be best to talk props at the end.

Ryan P

I was going to say the same thing. For long time TNPrs, it’s great. If you’re trying to grow your audience you might lose new viewers. A good compromise might be to mention it in the beginning and say you’ll talk about it in the end, that way it doesn’t interfere with the core content of the video but those who are interested still get to see it.

I think you do a great job in your reviews, And incorporating the fun stuff makes it a little more interesting, and we actually learn a thing or two every once in a while... Very excited about the A300 review. When is that coming out? Yes, I have already purchased it, but very interested to get your perspective.

Paul Kwiatkowski

I am a follower because I like what you’re doing and I appreciate the opportunity to weigh in. We bond over gear reviews, knives, watches, guns, adventures I will never have and philosophies I do have. It’s all a great mixture with the eclectic collection of interesting trinkets.

Andrettski

Keep it as is. The props add a little eye candy in your intros.

Jeremy Swanson

Keep it as is. Other creators I watch have content I dislike, so skipping ahead is an easy fix.

Todd Strelka

I love the prop talk. It keeps the video entertaining and interesting. I am always curious about various props on the table.

Joshua Dippel

Keep it, Nutn. That’s why we’re here! And more of your sound effects on the excavators!

Matthew McNally

Changing the Nutn' vid formula would be like changing the recipe and coming out with 'New Coke' back in the day. No way! As you were, Nutn!

Rick Grad

I watch all the videos, even on things I’m not 100% interested in because of the possibility of hilarious interactions between you and your props or maybe a special appearance from the Swedish Chef. It all makes TNP what it is.

Well, I’m sure most of us enjoy your humor and down to earth conversations. We appreciate the fact that you are unbiased and honest, even about your biases! We all have our opinions, but we don’t all have as much experience and testing as you. Personally, I enjoy some vicarious Shooting, and real world hands on exposures. This is probably what draws a lot of us! The vast majority of us are not military or law-enforcement, etc. Just normal Americans that love guns and shooting and want to be prepared if we ever have to use them. And we often need some guidance in navigating all the new things for the choices we may need to make or just are interested in. My home defense weapon was stolen recently and I am doing some research before I purchase a replacement. What was stolen was a carry pistol Springfield XDS 45. But I have a new carry pistol and was using the 45 for nightstand/home defense. But now I’m in the market for a dedicated home defense pistol so channels like yours are great to look up comparisons, advice, etc.! And of course you’re just always fun to watch! I am a Patreon of you and Hickcock 45! Been watching for many many years and still appreciate you my friend! Thanks for asking for advice from your audience. Keep keeping it real! I’m not an expensive watch or pocket knife guy, but I enjoy your firearm reviews. I wish you and your family the best. Safety and blessings! PS: Thank God, for answered prayers, in our government leadership!

GMAX

I’m indifferent, I like the prop stuff, it brings us all back and connects us to a time when we were younger, I also have a fast-forward button.. so if I’m not connecting with a particular piece you’re showing, it’s really no big deal for me to advance a minute or two. But you do get humorous, and we love that as much as some of the props.. perhaps you should show everyone your gimp mask☺️

Mat

You gotta do what you enjoy the most. I’m the more fun you have making a vid, the better the vid is. There’s a billion people reviewing things.

BadgerTails

I love you just the way you guys are! God Bless the Bartbie talk! If the virtue signalling fake larping FUDsters need to whine, they always have garand thumbs!

JFire

Keep it the way it is, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. It’s entertaining and that’s why I love the show. Spontaneous entertainment

Douglas Carr

There's a reason we keep coming back for more. No changes needed.

Dan

There is a thing called a skip 10sec ahead on youtube. Its not too hard to do 😂 If I’m interested in the props, I listen. If I wanna get to the meet of the review, skip ahead. It’s a beautiful thing. Keep everything as is.

Moe Mansour

Keep it the same, it adds variety. Don't move prop-talk to the end of the vid because it becomes predictable. One of the great things about TNP is there's no rules. At the same time, there's a sweet spot of how much time you spend doing prop-talk/out-of-genre reviews vs the main review. Like, don't do a 10 min dissertation on a plane at the beginning of a 20 min knife review.

rediius

Military always taught me to BLUF - Bottom Line Up Front, with room for discussion afterwards. That's my preferred format, though I'm not picky these days.

Ben H.

Keep it the same! Keep it random. Its fun learning a quick fact or your thoughts about whatever piece of equipment or vehicle that you have on the table.

FocusTripp

It's part of the videos

GraySkyReady

Leave it in. That's part of the fun.

WILLIAM MEYER

Clearly a mandate for you to shop for new toys, er, props. Take Mrs. Nut'n with you for support.

Johnny Motorcycle

If I’m not interested I just skip but that’s pretty rare

Chris Lacher

I like the prop talk. Only request - put something in the post where the toys/models are sourced.

Konamifan88

I think your target audience are basically nerds (like me!) so please keep it the same!

PhilippG

Do it Your way. Please

Hugh Amlett

To build a wider viewership you might consider shortening the videos that you know will be popular, like new releases. This might attract more new donors, just my opinion.
