Got some funds leftover from Christmas, maybe it’s a good time to get into a plinking air gun especially because this next year gun laws are going to be brutal here in washington

Absolutely love my 22 avenger so much that I got the 25 cal version. 100% laser beam and can be set to hunting power stong enough for dogs/pigs or crank it down and plink all day with it. Only thing to remember is that you will need a compressor and air tank... the hand pump will wear your ass out! The qc can be spotty but they are excellent if you get a good one. My 22 leaks slowly but the 25 has been perfect. Let me know if you want a 3d printed barrel band and I'll print one for you. The band shrunk my good groups to GREAT groups... same cloverleaf hole at 50 all day long is insane.

I hunt iguanas for pest control. For anyone else with a similar application, my experience is that bull pups aren't ideal for hitting small targets (headshots) at variable range. All of the bullpups I've seen have a very high optic rail and the large bore offset increases the arc up to your zero. This amplifies effect of error in your range estimate and will create more error in the elevation of your point of impact. I am an intermediate shooter so this may not be as big of an issue for people with better skills. But I wanted to share.

I got an Air Venturi “tactical” model from Air Gun Depot. Figured it would be easier for the kids to use with an adjustable stock. The foot pump sucks way more than one would think. It takes a long ass time to fill and it’s actual work. Put a thermal on line to learn how thermals work. Got a few rats with it already:)

Gun market has kind of gotten boring to me. Psa is surprisingly coming out with the guns I'm most excited for right now with the 5.7 mp7 and now the 308 caliber jakl. I enjoy the gear reviews knives flashlights camping gear backpacking gear ect. I spent a disgusting amount of money on montana knife company and half face blade knives and a new backpacking camp set up.
