Infield with a 1985 Mini 14 Ranch rifle. Outfitted with Tech Sights I’ll talk quickly about how I love the quick handling nature of an iron sighted mini 14.

Do you guys want an overall Mini-14 update? It would be long format.

I think it kinda goes without saying we want an update on the mini 14!! Core TNP content!

Johnny

Definitely.

JIMY

Yes, more Mini 14 content!

Zachary Rockwell

I would love a mini 14 video. A friend of mine is selling one so this video might just push me over the end and pick it up!

Andrettski

Very beautiful rifle. Absolutely more Mini-14/Mini-30 content. Just watched your Grunt vid.

Dikie Rickles

Love the mini content and I have a mini in the collection solely because of TNP. I love the tech sights for the mini and need to add them as a back up on mine.

Scout154

Yes I would love a long format! I grew up shooting the mini before I shot an AR. My mini reminds me of my dad teaching me how to hold a long gun and properly shoot with a long gun

Alex Delker

Your OG Mini 14 videos got me to buy one. Love this rifle, and would love to see more videos on it!

Tacticaldoodle

It's fun to think about how the Mini-14 was once the right arm of paladin press preppers and that mystique is under appreciated. If you were worried the world would end at Y2k, you could trust the mini to get you through it!

Pat McGroin

This is on my short list of purchases for sure.

Bob Sloane

Yes. It was the first semi center fire that I bought.

BranDingo

Update pls. Mini 14 is my fav rifle.

Buff Orpington

I still have two mini14s from the Nutnfancy mini14 era. Still excellent, still my favorite range guns. One still in service for home defense

Dan C

Long format is the only format with Nutn!

MCatl

Can't get enough Mini-14 videos.

Buff Orpington

You have no idea how happy it makes me to see another mini14 video. Classic Nutnfancy, nostalgia, beautiful rifle, what else can you ask for

Leon Hudson

Yes please! Love my Mini-14 which I bought after seeing one of your videos years, almost decades ago. At the time, I could only find stainless with composite stock. Close to 10 years ago, I found a Butler Creek folding stock for cheap at Sportsman's in Riverdale that it wore for a while. Currently wearing a beautiful wood stock found on ebay. Have made a few mods over the years, tech sites, comp, etc. Still my favorite gun. Thanks Nutn!

A

CDCR still uses these as duty rifles.

PC

Bring it on!

Iowa Dave

I love long format...but have abandoned the Mini-14. A Mini-14 was my first gun purchase in 1990...for $339. It served the family well, pulling security in the '92 LA Riots. However, I can't see it as anything more than a very expensive obsolete range toy at this point due to: high cost, only feeds well with expensive Ruger mags, mag rock in is inherently slower than AR style, reciprocating charging handle, right side charging operation that requires over the top left hand use to keep right hand in control of the gun, and optics unfriendliness. I sold my two Mini-14s and Mini-30 about 15 years ago and won't be going back.

David Englehart

I love Tech Sights. You turned me on to them a very long time ago. I've got them on my Marlin 60, a 10/22, and even an SU 16 that I have since sold.

Ryan in WA

Nice! Mini content is what brought me to the channel about 16-18 yrs ago when I picked up my first mini 14 model with the wooden folding stock. Love that gun. Run it with irons.

TNSheep

He's got like 4 mini14 videos. What do you want different?

TNSheep

They are $$$$ now because Ruger only makes a handful a year.

Bbomz97

totally agree!! keep irons on your mini!!

Charles A. Higgins

I love the Minis. I liked the Burris compact scopes. The scope has been discontinued, but they were compact a decent weight. It doesn’t mess up the weight and has a good eye relief.

Monty Smith

Also your process of cleaning it please...

Bravo

Mo’ mini! Those old mini vids are CLASSIC. Would be interested in an update. What else is there to the mini beyond “collector gun” in 2026? A mini run and gun adventure would be welcome too!

Gregory Hines

I bought mine somewhere in that time frame, maybe 83-85.
