Many are calling the KelTec PR 5.7 an idiotic idea, mocking its silly fixed magazine, and predicting KelTec's often remiss quality control. Not so fast guntuber internet...which is usually wrong by the way (about most things). Chad is long gone from KelTec, never to come back, and I have Zero relationship with the company. This one is on loan from Gunnies Western Wear store.

As always I'm just after the trust for my viewers. What you will find in this innovative, made- in-Idaho design, is a super lightweight, highly accurate, and reliable in its 5.7x28mm chambering. Picture proof is provided here in this very time-efficient Nutnfancy gun review. The crew and I immediately liked the gun and marveled at its performance.

Keltec really designed this as a spirit-child of the revolver, hence the fixed magazine. There's some upsides to this, discussed. Recorded here will be my prediction it will be KT's best selling gun ever. I am usually right in my predictions as time has proven (20 years now). It is a thin, easily carried, high performing BOK pistol that clocks in at a great price. I'll intro with some Ford GT500 track driving, PR5.7 shooting, then rant about how ignorant most gun counter workers are and give you proof. I can only take so much of that. In the end I'll show you some old, wisely-kept holsters that will already fit the PR57 too.

Will Be Their Best Seller Ever: KelTec PR 5.7

I would love to pick one of these up, but I'm sure they will sell like hotcakes at a liberal protest afterparty.

LOL...."I'm like MFer..." LOL....dude, so good....

Matthew Sinn

My example has consistent FTE failures. I'm going to give it one more range trip after a cleaning but probably going back to the mother ship this month. I'm glad to see yours runs well Nutn. I love this gun for all the reasons you covered in the video, and when it runs I'll probably buy another.

Maxreverse

Great vid. Short to the point. Excellent Smithers.

JFire

Interested in the cartridge as a platform but seems a little expensive . The racing footage was cool! Can’t believe it’s been 20 years! Congrats!

Ben H.

I love how keltec is never afraid to try something new.

Michael Boulrice

Adding this to my list after the review. Wish there was a way to mount a brace. I’m also looking at the 365 flux raider for a bug out gun.

Moe Mansour

You said your channel is Nootnfancy? Sorry, never heard of it. Have you ever shot a Glock 19? lol

squealer

Something about ammo almost as long as the firearm itself is just so.... awesome.

Blizzak454

I wonder what else MCarbo is gonna cook up for this puppy. Im thinking this would be a great truck glove box pew.

Kinoons

I’ve been a 5.7x28 supporter forever. Have the FN pistol, a SBRed PS90 for home defense and a pair of rocks for the BOBs. I really wanted to love this, and now it’s confirmed I’ll have to get one and replace the PPS M1 in EDC.

A Glock what? All handguns are Glocks.

Charles New

i'm still runnin 3 PF9's , one with a 22lr conversion. great review nutn.

Gilbert Cuzdey Jr

"MFer, who are you talking to?" Realist response ever. Never change Nutn.

Steven Salina

This gun is a solution in search of a California problem.

Bbomz97

Looks like an absolute winner!! So cool that they didn't just reproduce what every other company has done with the 5.7. In fact, ironically both Ruger and S&W have been making "me too" Keltecs quite successfully. I do love the S&W 5.7. May have to try one of these. Still running the SU-16!!

Bluegill097

Cool review! I’ll wait until it comes out in OD though, I’m not buying anymore black guns. I also can’t get over the fact it looks like a squirt gun. I LOLed at someone asking Nutn if he has ever shot Kel-Tec. Nutn graduated from Kel-Tec my guy! lol

Rolf S

Another winner Nutn. Keep ‘em’ coming. Some of us still live the long form. Hav at it!

TNSheep

The cost of the ammo to test this gun. Nutn is thankful for us. 5x7 is so $$

Ryan P

I’ve been waiting on a small concealable pistol in 5.7 for concealed carry. Was waiting for you to review this, went ahead and ordered one. Hope mine runs as good as yours did, thanks for the review Nutn!

Matthew Larson

Thanks for the review! I've long been curious about 5.7x28. Thought my #1 pick would be a Rock compact, but the good news out of your video has me reconsidering. Super cool! I'd definitely want to try the trigger before I buy.

DudeDudeDude

LOL at the gunshop commando educating NUTn on KelTecs that he has never even shot.

JK

Thinking about adding an "up-gun" option to supplement my collection of 9s. Would you recommend 10mm or 5.7? I mean, 10mm is nothing to sneeze at, but these days seeing a bad actor wearing body armor isn't entirely outside the realm of possibilities.

Boris Covfefeovich

My first thought were they were finding a niche to avoid the "removable magazine" Kommie gun grabberz and still have a product to sell in those markets. Be easy to plug too for the "more than 5 rounds" Kommie Gun Grabberz. 5.7 ammo prices....wooo.

Sounds like Gunnies is going downhill. Someone told me their E-4473 is a giant mess to fill out….

TireManTim

Love the diversity of content! Thanks Nutn!

Brievet

"It's a fun, fun, adventure we are on." A fun adventure indeed! I'm excited to hear about the accuracy and reliability. So cool.

Tim Cartwright

I love the 5.7. I'd buy this in a heartbeat but I live in Cali Jr (Washington state). Have to wait I've been considering moving this year. I do like keltec. I've always wanted a RFB as well
