Here you'll see the necessity of your own heavy equipment to save your property. The Kubota M62 with a Land Pride Box Scraper is what I had to combat raging and unpredictable wildfires. The fire shown is 0% contained with changing burn patterns and lots of fuel in both the dry desert mountains and many fields below. Ash was airborne so you'll se me with full mask and protective gear. This operation also serves to protect our wildlife and you'll see a doe deer seeking food and water on the property. She knows what's up. Many deer and animals in the desert mountains shown were burnt alive; along with many poor grazing cattle caught in the blazes (I know I've seen the photos).

This is an urgent emergency operation requiring driving for hours to get to location, setting up the Kubota, and working till sunrise. The soil results are shown. Temps in the day are up to 104ºF with approx 0% humidity and continuing high winds. This large type of wildfire is extremely dangerous and requires utmost vigilance to prevent your own death. VBOKs brought with me and I'm ready.

Paying Patreon.com/nutnfancy members helped pay for these operations. This is one of my key testing facilities as you've seen btw. I continue to work to help out...

Had no idea. Not even sure which state you are in,

Will Pherigo

Totally unbelievable and heart wrenching. We all appreciate your example. Shows you walk with the principles you talk about!

Leon Hudson

Dangerous work! Be safe Nutn!

The Hide

Its almost a must for anyone with any kind of property to have a tractor at the very least. I know mine has paid for itself many times over. Thats wild to think of using it for what you showed here shew. Take care Nutn!

Quinncannon

What a horrible thing these wildfires are! I have a Kubota tractor with equipment as well, worth every penny and more!

Kirk Fickert

We have a old L series 46HP Kabota at the farm with land pride blade and box scraper. Also have a dirt scoop. Leveled many an acre with that thing. Only has 2200 hours on it. I put about 800 on it over a couple summers leveling a 60 and a 40 acre field.

Tacticaldoodle

Gonna have to put some kill tallies on it so we have an operational record. When the m62 turns 50 years old it will be fun to see! Stay safe!!!

Elijah Ballard

Stay safe. My mom is in Spokane, they lost power for a day and a half. They are also advising to expect to lose water supply.

The Nutnfancy Project

Yep you get it bro, just a necessary piece of equipment. I didnt burn up so that's good.

The Nutnfancy Project

Yes sir it was. Not paid off yet with financing but close! But a spot fire from embers cropped up nearby and the exposed ground prevented it from spreading. So money is being well spent ;-)

The Nutnfancy Project

That is impressive Kirk and that machine's seen a lot of work. I will reference your experience if I review this one

The Hide

Facts sir. Glad to hear it!

Mike M

Great work, stay safe! I’m heading down to southern Colorado this week to pick up a new to me bobcat to keep my land safe and maintained.

Dylan

Dang thats crazy! I wish I was there to help, I bet most the guys in the comments here would've too. Keep the vids comin Nutn! 👍🏻🇺🇲

Robert Plested

Stay safe out there. When this is over a review of the Kubota and methods for cutting a fire break would be good for you tube at large.

OK: the country is burning so wouldn’t it be nice if the Air Force or National Guard Air Force had a dedicated air wing or two for responding to these serious economic and environmental events. Just think air crews could get valuable training in low level flight operations. Ground crews and JAFTC’s could get real world experience in coordinating and planning drops. Great Nutn stepped in with equipment, ice an willingness o help a neighbor

David Forsberg

Awesome 💯 helping neighbors on creating defense on the property. Love to see supporting the wildlife too. Now that's the love I am talking about! But here is the one thing I had in playing in my head, during the tractor scenes....she thinks my tractor is sexy. So Mrs. is so blessed in having a sexy tractor 😜

Mike S

My brother worked as a Hotshot firefighter for 3 years out in Nevada and all in the west. Regardless of what equipment you use, it's dangerous work. Stay safe out there!

Bravo

One of my new favorite videos in the project. Have always loved that this is an adventure channel. Seeing it all in action doing real work is great. Had an old college friend ask why I needed a freakin’ tractor a few years back. Some people just don’t get it. Love that Patreon is supporting this cause. 👍

Peak TNP 🏆

Zack Harris

Well done good faithful sir! thanks for sharing TNP Good Samaritan effects! Blessings and Safety to our western brothers!

JFire

Good thing you have the tractor…just another excellent example of self reliance. Only can really depend on yourself. It’s bad here in Washington still, the smoke from the Spokane fires still keep my whole family indoors. Stay safe!
