Gunnies Update: Endless Black Friday

Comments

NatvMan

I pick up my Canik TP9SF from Josh last week, he was cool and hooked me up with 200 rounds of 9mm. Keep up the good work Nutn and Gunnies.

Scout154

I love these gunnies vids. Gives a good perspective of the situation over the entire country. The stores in my area are not as well stocked though

whiskey papa

"Most of my audience is stocked" (ammo). Thanks to you Nutn. Luv ya!

Nathan P Hubsch

I was just there, they had a good amount of ammo and plenty of guns. Looking for a store to get hiking poles at.

Beck

HK's website is GARBAGE, I always thought it seemed mediocre compared to other sites

Nathan P Hubsch

They have my Makarov ammo and my 50AE ammo.

Andrew A

I can't believe Utah is experiencing unrest. That is scary. Makes me wonder if there are any good places left to go. I moved to WA just before things got weird and I'm not sure I want to stay here.

Patrick Magrady

Great vid ! Does he really have small pistol primers? They don't show on their web site.

Trey

Great video NUTN. Gunnies has a lot more stuff then all the gun shops I've been to in western PA.

Johnny Motorcycle

People are starting to realize their belief the police will protect you is a fallacy. The police aren't coming to save you. We've seen it happen. I'm from WI only a couple hours from Kenosha, 15 minutes from Madison.

Bill The Broken

Never thought I'd hear the words "spider monkey" in a nutn vid 🤯🤣. Enjoying your content while simultaneously ironically loading up some 123g eld 6.5 grendel. Great marriage. Thanks nutn keep em coming.

Matt Mcdonnell

Thanks for the update, he’s stocked good compared to se Michigan area. I’ll order something from him. Thanks gunnies!!!

Josh Payne

Don't love the unrest or damage to life and property but I have to say I see no good in calling things a civil war, only see it as enflaming the extremes on either end of the spectrum and making things worse rather than coming together on common sense, facts, and reason

David and Elizabeth

Surprisingly good stock of everything, all things considered. Wouldn't blame Wyatt one bit if he raised prices slightly to be closer to current real market prices. But keeping prices low will pay off in the long run (loyalty), that's for sure. In fact, one of our bucket list items is to travel to Gunnies one day and make a purchase or two. 👍

Jamie Ayers

Great video. Stores in Georgia look empty in comparison to Gunnies.

Scout154

At Jaime I'm in GA as well! I also agree with things getting much worse in the next few months till it gets better. I am gearing up for on duty and off duty engagements.

William J. Kassab

Either they’re not showing that military surplus 308 online or It’s Outta Here already. 😂

Bluegill097

Awesome video, wish I was close enough to shop there.

Logan Turner

357 sig online is cheaper than 9mm most of the time! id get that 226

Spenser Weese

Thanks for the reference vid. Interesting to see how things compare from state to state!

sean

Wyatt's comments on inventory hold true in the PNW as well. 9mm/5.56mm ammo sells out same day. Most gun stores have lines from open to close. Inventory from the larger manufacturer like Glock and SW is low with only intermittent and small shipments trickling in from distributors. Even popular optics, AR build components, and more essoteric cartridges are becoming "backordered". Things got unruly after the 2016 elections here the PNW (namely Seattle and Portland). Imagine what will happen this time with rule of law not being enforced and the "protestors" knowing they have license to bring about "equality" and "justice". Many if not most of the business owners and hardworking, honest and responsible citizens I know are expressing thoughts about at least moving out of the cities, if not completely out of the west coast states. What and more importantly who will be left? This TNP realist content is fantastic. Keep up the good work. It makes a difference.

Mark Manicone

Just paid $23 for 115 gr 9mm federal. I took Wyatt's advice already. Bought a PA 10 gen 3 upper and lower, slapped a vortex 4x16 scope on it, and I have an offset rmr mount on the way for closer targets. Bought up about $400 worth of 308 and called it a day.

Michael B warner

We have definitely seen times like this in the past and we've powered through them. I do think that this shortage is going to be the worst and longest lasting one to date. I am really lamenting the fact of not having a more substantial stock of ammo in my personal systems. I have a fair amount of my primary calibers .22, 9mm, 40s&w and 45acp as well as several cases of 12, 20 and 16ga shell's. I'm really wishing that I had about 5000 rounds of 5.56 and 308 stored up. I have a decent supply that I would be able to defend my family with in an emergency. However my stock is no way near what I wish it was. I have more emergency food and potable water saved up than I do ammo sadly at least there that lol. When this shit calms down and thing's start to normalize again I'm going to allocate ex amount of funds every month for ammo purchases. I just don't have a choice I really don't want find myself in a situation ware I'm lacking in my preparations and being completely unable to replenish them this shit sucks never again! Thank's again for the Gunnies vid Nutn I'm glad to see there still doing alright out there. Here's an example of my sitch here in the Metro Detroit area. My local Bass Pro Shops Hunting department is almost completely emptied out of everything. I was there this past Sunday and there entire gun counter was empty. They had about a dozen long guns no AR's basically there really high end Hunting rifles and shotguns. The handgun counter was even worse they condensed what was left into into one display case. Mainly the really expensive revolves like the 500 Smith and a few Kimber 1911's and such. My TNP'R friend that works there said that since June they have quadrupled last years gun sales. There is no doubt that this is a scary time I'm hoping and praying that ROL stays in place throughout this time. Since this whole Woo flue crap hit I have developed a new mindset that im starting to live by now and it's this (nothing is unbelievable anymore)

William H

That simple reloading set up is very intriguing.

Christopher B.

90% of his customers are first time buyers haha. I've been stocked up for years. I knew shit would hit the fan in one way or another. I actually saw an MP Sport on Armslist in San Francisco listed for $2,450. I probably won't even visit a gun store until 2022. Not paying the inflated prices. Don't need to rub elbows with the panicked, hyperventilating first time gun buyers.

Michael B warner

The TP9SF is an amazing GTW pistol I pretty much ran out and bought mine right after watching Nutns original review on it. I have no regrets for the money it's really hard to beat. I've had mine almost four year's now and I've popped at least 1000 rounds through it since then. It's only had one hiccup that I can think of and I believe it was more ammo related then the guns fault. It had one failure to eject that I can recall and that was shooting some cheap steel case crap Walmart ammo. The gun is really soft shooting and accurate it's a nail driver for me. The surprising thing for me is I can group better with my Canik then I can with my Glock 27. Great purchase buddy you are going to absolutely love that gun.👍👍

john milochis

Nice thanks nutn stay safe brother a lot of craziness going on at the moment hopefully things start to settle down but it doesn’t seem to be seems to be accelerating I was in gunnies a few years ago was in awe to see the store I’m from down under it was refreshing to see what real freedom looks like thanks mate stay safe.

Jeff Johnson

I was in Gunnies on Monday to pick up some of that on sale 22 LR. Place was packed. Glad to have Gunnies as my local gun store.

Jacob Leage

Waaay more inventory than my LGS’s in Tacoma area.

Lon N

I got to confess, my current stock of ammunition on the shelf makes me feel like Warren Buffet. The Nation is in a state of change, pay attention or pay consequences.

Aaron

Thank you for pulling this video together. I’d say it’s the same in the Deep South. November can’t come soon enough. Let’s just get this over with already!

Christopher B.

International Socialists have been at war with us since 1917. They have burrowed into our high school and colleges and poisoned the minds of generations. We had a social justice warrior as FBI director. How did that work out for us? Not so well. Brennan voted for a communist and still became CIA Director. The UN was founded by communist, Alger Hiss. The IMF founded by communist, Harry Dexter White. Now, communists set up road blocks and are firing on innocent Americans, kicking them in the head causing serious head injuries. Check Andy Ngo's Twitter page and tell me it's not a civil war. Leftists are the ones throwing Molotov Cocktails at police stations. It doesn't get much more inflamed than that.

NatvMan

I purchased the Canik to go with my Olight Baldr mini. Picture is on the Community page.

Thomas Symonds

Love the update vid, Gunnies tours are some of my fav vids you do. I got to pop into that store on my around-the-country last February, pre-covid, bought a hat, had a nice chat with the rep about the nutn connection and shooting M1 Garands in the winter out there. very fun. - Tom from Pennsylvania.

Kyle Zimmerman

Just put a scope on one coworker's ar-15, then help another build one. Neither can find ammo for a reasonable price. These are crazy times we live in, and I am glad to be stocked up on ammo. It is also a great time to have rifles in about 10 different calibers. You might not be able to find what you want, but you can find something that will work.

Rob B

Made a trip to Barrow’s Gun Shop in Butler, GA Jamie?

James R

Hold up nutn “gun in the truck”???! Come on bro your better than that. I m looking at my stash right now bout to swim in my ammo like that rich uncle with money on duck tales back in the day lol

Todd Strelka

That was fun to watch. I really need to get into Gunnies again soon. I'm squared away on ammo, but after watching this, I feel like I need to buy more. An AR pistol would be nice too. That Kel-Tec SU16C would go perfectly with my SU-22.

Jamie Ayers

Rob-No. I’m in the Savannah area. Used to work in Macon. Barrows is a good one!!!!

RowdyRon

That was freaking cool. You were correct about viewers wanting details on guns you passed by. I was jumping up and down when you went by the AK's 6 or 8 times without a mention! Granted, there appeared to be only a couple. I would liked to have heard how they were selling, and the ammo status. Either way, this was way cool. Glad you're keeping the good relationship with Gunnies. Thanks Nutn!

James R

No joke Wyatt is the man!!! That ladie with the mustache is suspect tho... Wyatt convinced me reloading is the way

Aermotor

Great video love this style content.

mm80121

Speaking of the Sig p220...yes it is rounds limited. So why the heck did Sig discontinue the p227?

steve kerrigan

So sad being in CA and seeing these guns. Never see them on a good day. I was in Flagstaff AZ last week. Sportsman's Warehouse. A few guns but no ammo.

Nicolas Royston

Same with the LGS I worked at before current employment. They are swamped. And people still coming in for cerakote too.

Matt P

Michael realistically, magazine probably be all you’ll need in a sd situation. The training is where having a stockpile helps.

Racing Psychosis

Good vid. I have some 40 S&W but man around where I live, 40, 9mm, 357mag, 45acp, 22LR, and of course 223/556, 300 black gone locally. Deer hunting around here is popular, you cannot even find 243, 270, 30/06 locally. Would love to see a LGS like Wyatt's. So if I'm ever in the area, I need to bring with me odds n ends of brass for him. One of our better local LGS had a M&P Sport II for $899, I about spit when I saw it, they were like, we don't think we will get another one for quite a while.

Racing Psychosis

Yep invest in precious metal, lead, copper, and brass.

Notmyshadow

Not having watched the video yet, I've had 5 gun stores in 2 states say that it's basically been black friday since march

Notmyshadow

Also, even only selling in bulk pack (500) one store sold 20,000 rounds of 9mm at roughly 35$ a box in about 1 business day no online selling.

The Nutnfancy Project

Thanks Rowdy, I wish we would have talked about them a bit. Gunnies cannot secure any new AK variant rifles now and the stock is low. Hopefully you have some stored up, they will be unicorns in 2021 I predict.

The Nutnfancy Project

Yeah he did a great demo there, very to the point and he reminded me of its economy. If I had more time I'd be doing it for sure.

The Nutnfancy Project

The P227 just did not sell well. It's a great gun and highly recommended here. The P220 has a probably undeserved reputation for reliability problems. But if you'll love 1911s and I suggest you get a P220.

The Nutnfancy Project

Wow, thanks for the update. Sounds about on par. I hope all you good TNPrs have your stuff; I've been pushing you to get it all this time...for just such a time!

Patrick Richards

Nutn, When will we get a long slide Glock 10MM review?!?

NoBullDoozer

Some of 'us' rant about the Govt 'blocking' travel semi near the border; I agree that unlawful stops are bad... Where are those activists with the middle America unlawful detentions that are happening in Dem country by mobs of people that could KILL you.

The Nutnfancy Project

Thanks for the info RP, that M&P Sport at $900 is good data, that's why I love Gunnies...always reasonable prices. I think he's selling that for $725

Patrick Brichta

Soooooo, the hilarious thing about the video is how many first time gun buyers are coming out of the woodwork. I've had many friends, family, and a few coworkers who walk the line slanted to the left have approached me to teach them how to shoot. A few who know that i have ok amount of ammo saved up will even say "you've got plenty, let's go burn it up, teach me how to shoot". Nope, out we go with the Red Ryder and air soft glock 19 clone.

NoBullDoozer

I haven't checked in on availability since last fall since I'm comfortably in my plan but wow! Just tried to find AR10 complete, or upper, or lower, or ammo; even at Gunnies and it looks horrible.

Jeffery Huntt Huntt

Do like seeing videos from Gunnies. Also like the input you said about the world we live in. Always good to see others with the same thoughts about the issues we face today. It is incouraging.

JHolmes2070

I don't have enough 9mm for my comfort level but this is the last time that happens. I have been stocking up on whatever is available. Right now thats shotgun ammo and I'm thinking of going to a 40 S&W as I can find more of that. In the past year I have purchased several more firearms and a new safe, next up is an ammo safe and I will have 10k of all my calibers, or thats the goal when the supply flows again.

Todd

I agree 💯 % !! Procrastinating hypocrites probably. Why weren't they watching TNP 7, 8 ,12 years ago?? They wouldn't be in this position now!

Todd

Everyone on here has been stocking up on the necessities for years ! They know why and the only reason to even think about buying more (ammo mainly) is for training purposes and keeping those skills sharp! I have thousands of rounds of ammo . Some for training and some for defensive purposes (WROL) the amount isn't just for me it's for my like minded "procrastinators" who didn't bother stocking up!

SeamasterSig

Wow! Gunnies is really well-stocked compared to my local gun stores on the Suncoast. Looks like a great place to by "fishing rods" :-)

andrew billings

It’s kind of interesting, my LGS has only had AK (762x39 +545x39) and a little 10mm (and some other oddball ammo) in stock. NO-556, 308, 9mm, 45acp, 22 etc Haven’t had 556 in months....

Erik

Love Gunnies updates. Do as many as possible please. Wow, so many ARs and pistols on his shelf. Supply is very limited here Northern Wisconsin, they could sell more guns if they could order them, can’t even do that currently.

Racing Psychosis

That's pretty much the same with Western Wisconsin. Although Monsoors in LaCrosse still has a lot of shotguns and hunting rifles left, especially high end trap guns, but they also typically a little higher in price.

Racing Psychosis

What handguns they have which is pretty low inventory are still pretty much the same price on the new stuff, but the prices on the good used stuff is approaching new prices. I'm actually thinking about moving a couple of my pistols that I have had for like 20 years, no longer want/need, as I might break even on them.

JDCoy

minute I saw what was going on in China, I knew there would be panic and shortages. So even though I didn't really need anything, I bought 96 pounds of rifle powder, 40,000 small rifle primers, and another box of 6000 Hornady btsp bullets, and a five gallon bucket of once fired 5.56 cases to add to the stock. Luckily I have sixty something bricks of 22LR because I've been buying more than I need since the late 80's, and I knew that training my grandkids to shoot was coming up. They better appreciate that and not put me in a crappy old folks home:)

Racing Psychosis

Hopefully it was a good mention...back to the race track next week, 11 turns and 50 ft of elevation change

Paul Griech

That was excellent watch before work thanks.

James Young

I say it everytime but I love these Gunnies videos. Can't believe how many guns they have and ammo and prices and that Bilbo (Wyatt) doesn't use a holster lol. I agree that 300 Blackout makes sense in short barrels, especially under 10.5" barrels and IMO very little sense in over 10.5" barrels. As for other things in the shop I'd be interested to see if they have a CZ Bren 2, and get a little coverage of the AK section.

James Young

That Canik TP9SF is a good gun, especially for the price it's hard to beat.

James Young

You'll have to call. A lot of local gun shops struggle to keep their online inventory up-to-date

James Young

Sounds like a nice setup

Mark Manicone

It's nice, definitely a little on the heavier side, but that's the way it is with a 308 set up. I was just tired of not being able to find any ammo. 308 is still around the same price as it was pre-craziness, at least the non-bulk stuff. I got a bunch of hunting style rounds for it as well. I plan to use it this deer season down here in the free state of South Carolina :)

kman

Awesome video, thanks!

Lon N

I giggled at the "perfect riotgun" cough... A blast forwarder is your friend, just saying.

Mike R

Like a lot of people I love these Gunnies videos. I liked the “Kyle used a gun like that” reference, hope the poor kid gets released.

William R. Stevens III

Love the real data points!! With real people!! Thanks for always keeping it REAL!!👍

Paul Griech

Our Gunnies is Elk county ammo and arms they are very big on Gunbroker. With me being from such a small town I am lucky to have this gun store they are always stocked, if I ever make it to Utah I would like to check gunnies out.

Michael B warner

I definitely agree I'm not getting much range time in with the current ammo crisis. However I am having some fun training with my Glock and TP9SF at home. I picked up one of those (I Target Pro) system's. It allows me to do dry fire training as well as timed draw and fire drills. I can setup a range in my living room and shoot all day it's really cool.

Michael B warner

Speaking of being realistic heaven forbid but if I ever did have a home invasion emergency. My first choice would be my 870 loaded up with 00 Buck that's the best problem solving implement that I've got. I'm hoping I never need to use it that way. I like it much better as my winter deer catcher lol.

Nathan Simms aka Darkpriest

I bought a TP9SF the day after I saw Nutn's video on it. I've had it ever since. I've never found another full size pistol that has made me want to move off of it.

Quade N Howard

Long time TNP fan, new patreon member here. I live in southern minnesota and compared to every gun store I've been too, this is a fantastic amount of ammo. Every store I've been to has absolutely no 762x39, absolutely no 9mm, no 556 or 223, virtually no 308... I cant even find 380 acp here. 45 .. gone... its absolutely amazing. If they have had, it I've missed it but it's crazy here in MN.

Quade N Howard

300 blk is gone, 22 has a just a few boxes but it's the higher end stuff. Even 10mm only has a few boxes left last I checked.

Quade N Howard

I talked to a salesman on the floor and he said that any given pistol wont stay in the case for more than 5 days or so.

EthanRX

Love the videos inside Gunnies! Thanks Nutn.

Ricky Kurtz

Hey LTC, one of my systems is S&W 4006TSW CHP Gen 3. It’s a bit heavy at 2.6 lbs empty, but I like heavy firearms. I have 3 in my system and tons of mags. Using an Olight Baldr Mini(600 Lumen with build in green LASER). Currently that is my system of choice for EDC. Ammo is Hornaday Critical Duty .40 180 and 200 grain. As usual I totally enjoy your presentations !!! Ricky from IBM

Ricky Kurtz

Hey LTC, how can Gunnies price product so aggressively ?? Ricky from IBM

Notmytoastedghost

Was just in Orem today! I figured it was out of stock too since everywhere else is but I should have stopped by, dammit!

Sheepdog

Happy to see they are well stocked on guns. For now, I will only practice with the ammo I can buy, so that I don't have to dip into inventory. Non-gun people just don't understand that it's not some outrageous thing to shoot several hundred rounds for a practice outing. They hear stories in the media about 'no one needs to buy / own thousands of rounds of ammunition unless they are up to no good'. They have no idea what training use of ammo is like, and yet they want to tell people who do, what they 'should need'. Ridiculous!

Sheepdog

I never stopped giving .40S&W the love. For all the reasons you talk about. For concealed carry, even though 9mm is completely adequate for personal defense, I like carrying a little extra pop without resorting to +P. Of course, I'm tall and will also daily carry my G20 in the winter months when I have the additional clothing to conceal it.

Mike S

Right now in Illinois, there are none of the common calibers available aside from birdshot and shotgun slugs, hunting calibers and sometimes 22LR ammo. Strangely enough, standard capacity mags are still plentiful here.

Jason Burson

I was going to jump on here and tell everyone to go place some ammo on back order at SG but they are not even taking many back orders. I ordered a bunch in March which came in June and I ordered more in June slated to arrive mid late October. Hopefully they will get more headed their way so I can order more.

Greg Malcom

So much fun, i watched it twice!

Fabian Medrano

Yeah we aren’t seeing those prices on ARs near me. One of the shops near me had the M&P Sport priced at $1100, and I actually saw someone buying one at that price while I was there. It’s pretty wild, hoping things settle down soon.

Foghorn

Yup. Been reloading the last few months... single stage press... Components bought about 6 years ago..

Austin Doyle

Working at a gun store/range in MS it was crazy seeing a store as well stocked. We've been crazy since March and inventory is getting thinner by the week, with prices on the rise=^/

Kenny VanCleave

Always love it when you make a trip the the Great American Gun Store that is Gunnies.

Alan Carr

Agree with the others - love these trips to Gunnies!

Buff Orpington

I’ve started saving up a box of ammo here and there while following the project. Now I’m damn glad that I did. My ammo stock isn’t the most impressive one out there, but it’s certainly enough to face most threats. I’m glad for the kick in the butt a few years back from Nutn, otherwise it’s improbable that I would have saved some up.

Chopper

I very briefly tried getting into reloading a few years ago. I bought a whole kit but and it was just overwhelming. If I had somebody I knew locally that could physically show me the ropes, I’m sure I could do it but learning “feel” like setting in primers off of YouTube videos is challenging. Fortunately, I stockpiled a few years ago and am glad I did.

Orson

I always love the Gunnies Walk arounds. Not that we dont have all the stuf here also, but it is the size of the store. Must be pure fun just to walk around. If I would live there, it would be the gunstore of my choice for sure. On the other hand, these ammo shortages every few years is no fun, so I am glad to be where I am. No ammo shortage here, you can still by 9mm, or .223 at a (reasonable swiss) price. 5000 round 9mm for CHF 1.125 /USD 1.200 :-)

Trevor Podratz

Watching this video just made me so happy about just finishing my glock 22 build a month ago. Rough finding 9 here in Western Oregon. 10mm and .40 S&W is much easier to find, and lets be real a darn good time to shoot with your buddies that think they are not the move anymore. New to Patreon, glad to be here supporting what your channel stands for Nutn, incredible stuff through and through. God Bless

Daniel Herb

Always good to see how Gunnies is doing! Thanks for some good updates and discussions on current events
