High Desert Appetite: CWN Watchman's Breakfast (Patreon)

Get ready to be hungry.  Sean the TNPr and I head deep into the desert to cook.  Yep we brought groceries!  The Wolverine hauls us to the top of an epic desert hill providing stunning views.  The wind is down, a good thing.  The xlnt movie "Greyhound" serves as the inspiration for my "Watchman's Breakfast."  We break out the bacon, eggs, and hash browns and get to work.  Add high quality ice cold orange juice to this breakfast feast...mmmm!

Man you should see us at the track after a long day. Some of the stuff we cook up, and some of the stuff they one Clutch Manufacturer that attends the races for product sales cooks up for the racers. Yep, drain off a little bit of that bacon grease and fry them eggs, then its perfect.

Love the vid guys. A little ketchup on those h browns and some hot sauce on the eggs, speaking of firepower Sean, you'd have a homerun tailgate sammie. Anyone in TNP nation who are pepper sauce fans, I got these "Yellowbird Foods" 5- pack of fantastic pepper sauces, highly recommend. You can find'em on Amazon. At an astronomy event in central PA I cooked bean with added bacon on a Dragonfly stove. It was just getting dark. Best meal I ever had.

First, always pulp free. Always. Second, every breakfast sandwhich is better with cheese. Third, hot sauce. Tabasco, red hot, cholula, I don’t care I’ll eat them all, but hot sauce is a must.

Your breakfast looked all most perfect. Recently I learned to never salt eggs while they are cooking. You then salt them after cooking to taste. Salt reacts with egg to break it down and release water, and taste. It’s easy try it! No salt egg while it’s cooking. But other than that beautiful breakfast.

Bach goes well with breakfast! A Karl Richter recording of the Brandenburg Concertos was send into space in 1977 on the Voyager Golden Record. The story of the 1721 completion of the concertos and their discovery after 150 years of sitting on a shelf in an archive, never having been performed or published is miraculous. Saved from destruction by a hair's breadth during WW2 is also miraculous. They were written in Bach's own hand.

Great video. We did a hike (walk) in Cub Scout camp out this weekend and I was going to grab packaged frozen bacon out of the freezer and remember an old TNP cooking video where you mentioned getting the good stuff for good times so instead we got a pound of fresh bacon from the local butcher and we cut it in half peppered and froze so it would keep in out small cooler. Our old side by side 4wd only works when it has power to the front differential, which is also when the ignition is working correctly and also supply power to the headlight. So sop is to start to get struck, lock the rear diff, get stuck more, activate 4wd, if still stuck turn on headlights and wiggle wire harness at ignition switch until headlights come one then crawl it out.
