A surprisingly capable timepiece from Timex. And it's all in analog form.  I didn't even know this series existed and just found it with some online research. It will come in a variety of color schemes and most, like this one, are pretty excellent. Expect to find Timex' rugged "Expedition" looks in this series as well. I'll talk about the features, its looks, and wearability. Somewhere along the way I'll show you the yellow and now collectible Casio Gulfmaster GWN1000 in yellow.

You’re almost getting me into buying a watch with all these reviews. Guess I’d better start saving up for one.

Jerry Hall

Yes another impressive watch review. Pull your wallet out to purchase one.

I've been going back and watching old TNP philosophy videos. I'm saving the audio to my device for offline use. I'm sure at some point YT will yank all conservative voices from their platform and I highly value the message in those foundational vids.

Todd Strelka

That's a great looking watch.

I've got that tenacious, but with ODG FRN. They call it ODG, but it looks more like FDE to me. A local store had it along side the tan knife you showed. I liked the darker color a bit better. It was my first spyderco, and it got me hooked.

Nice watch! Are there any other watches that offer the compass function? I’ve been considering a way to integrate a small compass into my edc. I’ve got a blacked out Lightweight Tenacious. But I may have to get the FDE now. . . .

David Goodridge

How difficult is it to change the battery? I’ve got an analog expedition that is due

Love the WRVs! Saving this one for tonight!

Had 2 timex in the last 5 years. Both fell apart in less than a month. I keep seeing lots of pretty stylish designs recently so I'm curious to see if quality is up too.

Jordan Parker

Nice looking watch. I've always been a big fan of Timex Indiglo, great feature.

Tom Small

Nuttin - thoughts on GPS smart watches like Garmin, etc? Could make for a good WRV!

I think there are some really nice Casio edifice watches with compass. Try searching for them, they're very high tech

I have a Timex expedition been going strong I am not sure how many years, at least 3

I really like this one!! Thanks, first I've seen it

oh man the citizen ca4215-39e is now about $130 #sadface

Dude the timex tide temp compass is excellent. But I think I paid 170 for a timex.

Devin Heald

Looks good but like you said I would not use most of those functions. The indiglow is good looking.

Matt

Love the value watch review. Got the SMAELs and a naviforce based on your reviews.

I watch video makes me happy

I had that flyback Timex in my cart when I first got into watches. If only they could give a hi-beat quartz movement I'd be pumped. I'd be willing to change out the batts every year for it.

I think these are great watches for the money. Never picked one up because of the proprietary strap though. I always have to buy longer straps so proprietary straps are just a no-go. Otherwise, Timex is making some great strides lately but I just wish they were just open about the movements they are using. I picked up a new Protrek PRT-B70 instead in blue. Don't let that it's a "fishing" watch deter you. It's probablythe most full-featured Protrek EVER and the can be picked up CHEAP if you look. My only knock is that it doesn't have solar but has Casios awesome Bluetooth features that make their watches fantastic travel watches for time zone syncing I'm actually dual writing it right now with my momentum fieldwalker. It's not a smartwatch but it's as smart as I'll ever go I think. 😅

Logan Holmberg

Ugh, dual wristing....I'm using a grammar check and didn't notice it auto corrected it..😑.

That’s brilliant. I need to do the same. They are so good. What a wonderful TNP nation it is.
