Unlike any other watch I've reviewed, i'll introduce you to this huge watch. Some call it the "Sea Anchor!" Honestly most Invicta watches are gaudy and too rapper for me. But having researched the brand for some time I've found some winners. This might be one of them too.

The quality of the Sea Hunter is actually amazing for the price paid. I'll show you the details and discuss the best bezel yet on any dive watch I've reviewed. The "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" version shown, a Gen II SH, is discontinued also but you might still find it. It's brass and titanium colorations evoke deep sea diving like no other watch reviewed yet.

A couple of other versions are also shown, including a striking mother of pearl tactical black SH, very awesome. It is powered by a Seiko NH35A auto movement. Downsides and sizing are discussed and there's a quirk in the solid link bracelet sizing that is almost unforgivable. This watch won't work for smaller wrists.

But overall this is a super FUN big watch that will brighten your day, giving you unexpected conversations.  It may surprise you that I like it so much but I'll make my case here as to say and I may make you a believer too. You can knock someone out with this thing...in more ways than one!

Powernoodle

We lads born in the 1960's are more agreeable to wearing a watch than the younger generation - like my sons in their 20's who never wear a watch. Same holds true for landline telephones. We still have them at the Powernoodle Compound, but I doubt that my sons ever will yo. But in terms of utility, a wristwatch is still quicker than a smartphone. And they add some zippity to your doodah.

I wasn’t super interested in the watches you listed earlier but keep putting lists out and I’m sure we will connect on one!

Always cool to see the badass Hog on the reviewing table … 😁

WOW, they are monsters. That's awesome.

I've known guys to get into it with age, it's one of the few trinkets you can enjoy no matter where you are. When you spend a lot of time at work, it's nice having something on you that makes it feel worth it, so there's some hope. NF didn't get into watches at all until a few years ago, before that he just ran a casio databank

Todd

Oh my God Becky, look at his watch It is so big, he looks like One of those rap girls boyfriends

Todd

Would I look like a total poser wearing one of these, if I practically hyperventilate when putting my head under water with a mask on?

Dean

I picked up that yellow and black watch. Its awesome!

jonathan ocampo

Sick watches. I love that black band with the titanium.

I didn't pull the trigger on the Sea Hunter, yet. But, I did buy a Swiss Legend in orange and black. Just like the one in the video. Loved the video and if you like larger watches, check out the Hazard 4 line of watches. Their pricy, but quality throughout.

Flame fusion crystals are Invicta’s proprietary crystal which is actually a combo of sapphire and mineral crystals. They have a process which “fuses the two together. Sapphire crystals are obviously very scratch resistant, but can shatter fairly easily. Mineral scratch easy, but are much more shatter resistant. Invicta takes the best of both. I have dozens of Invicta pieces, the flame fusion seems to indeed be the best of both.

Hey LT nice watch. I have 5 Invicta diver watches in various configurations all measuring 63mm. I’ve had them for 6 years and they hold up very well. They are part of Invicta’s reserve collection. One of the models I own which is 63mm Model # 90250. I was unable to locate for purchase the Sea Hunter. But you might be interested in check out Model # 90250, Model # 0337(another Invicta dive watch I own measuring 63mm). There are several other variants of this watch. As alway terrific presentation, Thank You !!! Ricky from IBM, Ret

Thanks for hitting the Invicta line for some reviews!

Just bought the Invicta 70mm Sea Hunter Swiss Movt Chrono GUNMETAL Dial Gold and Silver

Bravo

I’m over here looking at my 42 seiko field watch on my 7 1/4 wrist like 🙄 haha not for me but still love the watch vids. You gotta check out the AARAGON watch brand they are all about affordable large watches usually with seiko movements. They are incredible quality too!

I'm mostly into tactical watches. Can we get a top 5 tactical watch video. Oh and smart watch for Android people. Thanks Nutn

"...check out the Hazard 4 line of watches. Their pricy, but quality throughout. " Guess what? Review is complete! I loaned one and got it done. Didn't dive with it b. it was new and dude didn't want any wear on it. I have criticisms on it by you might like the ending.

The Nutnfancy Project

Interesting info, thanks. I think that jibes with what I researched: sapphire coated mineral crystal. Unless it really is melted together!

The Nutnfancy Project

I am familiar with them and several are great. I actually have a Aragon "Divemaster" A054BLK black but it's discontinued so I wasn't going to review it.

The Nutnfancy Project

Hmmm, tall order. I'd have to choose from what I have in stock and several are discontinued. I might could do it as a narrated screen video? Tact. watches mean different things to diff people. I think the SMAEL and like are hard to beat really! I do have a Samsung Galaxy 3, review it?

Paul Griech

that watch would be enormous on my spaghetti arms lol

Matt W Plank

Yes, I have been a customer of Invicta since about 2000. They came out with this proprietary technology around 2008, and I can remember many of us die hard collectors were bummed out and skeptical. We wanted sapphire! The difference in this technology is that there is an actual “fusion taking place at the molecular level. What I thought was hype at first, has turned into a fairly reliable solution.

Bravo

Sorry nutn Sold the AARAGON watch I had. Was beautiful but a little bit big for me. Was a 50 or 55 (can’t remember now) and I like my watches to be relatively streamline and trim. (Citizen avion chrono, seiko 5 field, g shock square) etc just hearing you like big watches I know the owner of AARAGON is all about the big boiz too. No pressure to review from me.

Outrider950

Steampunk….ish. So cool.

HappyFrancisMacomber

Can’t do it on this one, just not my thing. On the other hand DEEP BLUE has MKII on sale for $99. Go now and buy it!

Jayson Fraser

I like big watches, but holy cow. It looks super cool, but it’s not for me.

hoplite ⚔️

Don’t have a smart watch yet, but would def watch a vid on a galaxy 3

hoplite ⚔️

I was browsing the Invicta website the other day wondering what kind of drugs the designers are into.. They def make some cool pieces, prob will tick one of those yellow boxes soon. That knurling looks insane!

Hold Fast Joe

First time I saw a U-boat watch I thought it was cool until I saw the size and weight I would need to switch arms half way through the day so I don't have extra large bicep on one side lol It looks fun, could never pull it off without looking like a total dork. Maybe I could break out the suspenders and a sports strap for my glasses with a beanie cap on if I ever get one lol

JRP

I'm not an Invicta fan myself, but loved the review. Keep the WRVs coming dude!

david rockwell

This TNP watch review drifted close to parody or satire. That wristwatch looked like a throwback to Flavor Flav; it is so large little children run away screaming. Seriously this was a fun review. I admit that my XY chromosomes are no strong enough to make Sea Hunter work. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

Zachary Jackson

Dang it Nutnfancy!! You sucked me in on this one. You’re 100% correct I have personally made a comment on one of these watches worn by a 70+ year old guy… aka not an 80’s rapper.

Daniel Herb

A very interesting find. I cant say I would wear it more than a few times but it certainly is a conversation starter....
