Here comes another stellar value 1911 in World War II livery. This one is even better than the still rec'd ATI FTX45 1911 (see review). We take it on several excursions to find out it's incredibly accurate and reliable...right out of the box. Add in perfect finish mimicking the green parkerization of the period...ahhh that's a fave o mine. One minor fail cropped up which is discussed.  TacticalDoodle, Sean the TNPr, and myself all loved this cool Turkish built Tisas 1911 (other variations shown too).

Spyderco Amalgam on table, will sell out from my review: https://shrsl.com/3a1pt

GFIRE LBE Modular Vest in Amazon:  https://amzn.to/3hTkDtv

Custom nametapes made here, use a red background, silver letters, looks awesome: https://amzn.to/2IxNCaQ

Tisas 1911 A1: Why This Should be a First Choice

How crazy the timing. I just ordered one from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore for $389 w/free shipping. Gonna click on the GRV right now. Gettin' my popcorn!

Rumble and locals have merged. I follow other groups other topics. Locals works pretty good and it has a way to monitize it

Jordan Parker

I picked up a Tisas 1911A1 at a great price about two years ago and have loved it ever since. Thank you, Nutn!

Andrettski

Took a Dr Pepper intermission break at 13:38 mark. I read in a forum a guy rec's a Wilson Combat 'Dwyer' group kit along w/new springs and buffers?

Robert Avery

Hell of a value. Great review as always fellas. 👏

Stan White

My buddy got one, I shot it a fair amount and I liked it. Would definitely buy and recommend it

Powernoodle

Turkish bleep ain't bad. The Canik TP9 sub compact on my belt is a high quality, NATO spec firearm. I would take a T*tsauce 1911 from Santa with no complaints.

Andrettski

That looked like you filmed this the same day of the Kel-Tec CP33 GRV?

Todd Strelka

I'm down for an affordable 1911. I like how they shoot so smoothly and accurate. Thanks for the review and hard work, Nutnfancy!

Maplebrew

What’s wrong with Rumble as an alternative. Only 3 vids posted by Nutn

David Gaines

I am just not a fan of the 1911. Other than second cool, it just don’t do it for me.

Jardine

The old WW2 style 1911 are just cool. What a great handgun to enjoy.

Skyman

Fun gun/display. I think it’s cool

Brad Fegan

Love the coloration of it. The grips you put on match perfectly. Wouldn't change a thing. Really do like 1911's but damn, they are heavy.

mauserwaffen 98

any chance you will re upload your black rifle video from around 2018-2019 that I didn't get to watch? Upload it either here or on ugetube. Please!!!! Thanks!!

Andrew Baldwin

Not really 1911 related, but after years of shooting guns I finally picked up a P226 E2 and it's basically relegated every other pistol I've ever fired to obsolescence. Just commenting to say I should have listened to you when you posted your Sig Dynasty videos back in 1988...

Boone Mill Farm

I traded a Black and Tan coon dog and a 28 gallon cast iron caldron for a pre A1 back in 1973/4 ish. I did a lot of 14 year old stuff with it, it went everywhere with me. Fox in the hen house, the chickens had a worse reaction to the 45 than they did the critter. I grew up, bought a S&W 39. Loved the gun but hated the ammo. Wonder 9’s and all that. Kept carrying the colt. Learned to reload. Lots of bangs. That little 3 fingered spring thingy mounted somewhere in the back strap is a cast iron bitch to replace. Just saying. She is still with me. She lives in a battle belt, snuggled into a 80’s something Bianchi M12 USGI holster. I shot the crap out of her when I was a kid. I still run her. She don’t care. Best damn gun ever invented. Thank you J.M.B.

If its posted on patreon I'll click and watch it.

I am very partial to 1911s because I inherited my old man's Colt 1911 A1 when he passed. I like going to gun shows and finding that one old man who specializes in 1911s and parts. He usually has a table full of rusty ammo cans filled with barrel bushings and recoil springs, but if you strike up a conversation with him, he has some of the best stories to share.

RowdyRon

Great look at the Tisas. I don't need another 1911 at the moment, but that's a beauty. Those grips you added sealed the deal. Really great review. Thanks Nutn.

Christopher B.

How about Odysee? I've been checking the Salty Cracker livestreams there lately. Red Dawn Radio too. This Tisas looks good. Hard to tell it's cerakote and not blued. Reliable and accurate w/ a 5 pound trigger pull. A steal at $450.

Racing Psychosis

I've been messing around with it a little as an alternative for my channel down the road. It is kind of clunking on interface and uploading of content. It works, but seems a bit slow as well.

Matthew Larson

Very cool review! My dad and I have been interested in getting into 1911's for a little bit now. This sounds like the direction I should point him in as he is definitely more into the WWII aspect, whereas I would lean a little more modern. Thanks Nutn.

M

Hey Nutn & all. I have been on Rumble for a while and never knew you were over there. I use Rumble first before Youtube for all the right reasons and I have been on Locals for a year. Locals and Rumble are the future!

Mitch Ceiling

Bought one last year and loved it ever since

Downtrodden

What a beautiful place to review. Very cool firearm. I’m coming around on 1911’s for sure.

GRV REQUEST the POF ROGUE AR10, 5.9Lbs 16in barrel. Street Price $1500 roughly

Hold Fast Joe

Odysee is good. It's search actually seems to work unlike my experience with bitchute. The search on there is so terrible. You better get it exactly right on bitchute or your not going to find what you want!

Hold Fast Joe

I gotta see one of those! I love POF stuff

Hold Fast Joe

Woa.. that looks great! I love the heatsink feature they put on some of their rifles! I bet this one is a huge winner

Pace Shelton

Yes, I had seen the POF Revolution rifles and was wanting one, but the price was just a bit much for me, although I am sure worth it.. but a $500 drop in price to the new Rogue really puts it in run of the mill AR10 pricing.. I know you CAN get one for less but I feel that puts you in the mid grade tier of rifles price wise, with POF quality..

Harold Galen McPheron

I've got small hands and short fingers, yes the 1911's are my go to war guns and WROL....

Christopher B.

I find myself using Odysee for a couple hours at a time without missing YouTube. I'm just so tired of these commies and their bullshit. I'm shutting them out wherever I can. Regarding BitChute's search function. There's a way to change BitChute's search preferences from "search channels" to "search videos". Searching for videos rather than channels will give better results. To access search preferences, type something in the search bar and press return. The preferences will appear.

Hold Fast Joe

I'm good, I just don't use bitchute since I can go to odysee and watch my favorite online guys, mark moss and silver report!

Thompson F Bechtel Jr

Paid 485.00 . Excellent accuracy with both jacketed and lead. Replaced grips with USGI. 12.47 delivered. Good trigger. Replaced firing pin with titanium Wilson. Now completely ready to go. Good solid piece.

T Boy

UGE sucks! Would love to support them but their product for vids and classifieds plain sucks.

Shot442

A family member bought one of these and it’s been accurate and reliable.

Bravo

How are there no reviews on the spyderco resilience lightweight?!? Iv been doing the blade thing long enough to be about 90% sure it’s good but I’d still like to see a review of it in time. My guess is it feels like a mix between the manix 2 lightweight and a regular resilience.

Hugh Amlett

I would love to see you review the new Springfield sa-35 hi power clone

Anthony Schaad

Gonna have to check into these, I have seen quite a few good reviews on them!

Lon N

Holy disappearing Patreon comments Nutnman... Confirmed 1911 dinosaur here, both the bump in the night pistol belt and my 90% EDC are 1911's. Before 3" 1911's were a reality I carried the full size IWB in a Milt Sparks Summer Special when I needed concealed carry. Ideal, no, just comfortable familiarity. I wouldn't hesitate on the Tisas, and as you said in the ATI review - perfect candidate to begin to learn gunsmithing with.

Lynn E Fite, Col (r)

One can never have too many 1911’s. After this review, I have started my search. Checked funnies OTS

Lynn E Fite, Col (r)

One cannot have too many 1911’s. Funnies is out, so will continue. A great review-and yes; shoot as it comes out of the box, just get a period correct holster

The Nutnfancy Project

Great mods you made on that Thompson. Such a great gun for the money. I think they sell a lot of these

The Nutnfancy Project

Trying to get one. I have a Browning Hi Power in inventory now; would be a fun review to compare. From what I know the SA35 will be a win; there's demand for it.

Bravo

Rock on nutn looking forward to seeing that resilience LW review

Mike S

Glad to see some value, good quality 1911's get reviewed here in the project. Yeah, they aren't US-made, but they have that old style WWII aesthetic to them which is so cool to see nowadays.

ktnjr .

Love my Tisas. After playing with all the modern firearms, it's hard to believe they use these in combat. It feels so primitive. They only knock I have on it is I get slide bite everytime I bring it to the range. I dont think I paid $450 for though. I got it from Classic Firearms.

Matt

Thanks for the value gun reviews Nutn. Turkey is cranking out some really high quality value firearms. Have you had a chance to try out the canik tp9 elite sc?

Eric Ohme

Been eyeing these. I see them for 399 on gundeals.com
