Those of you with access to public lands are privileged indeed! Here in the Midwest, the roads are in square grids and ALL land is privately owned. No firearms in national/state parks. Keep on trucking, Nutn! You give me things to dream about.

Doing the shoot during the week is the best way to get the area to yourself. If your being forced to do it on a weekend, it would be a good idea to delay the shooting. Then scout out the area on weekends.

Thanks for sharing! Do you ever find yourself wanting to ride further out but the gas gauge screams turn around? I found myself pushing my bike down a country road years ago when I had one. I knew farmers were in the area so it wasn't a big deal. Got a half gallon from them and made it to a station

Kelly, also a Midwesterner (Missouri) and here we have certain state parks with established shooting ranges. Also we have private "sportsman's clubs", that are set up as non-profits, with land purchased to for shooting ranges. These may be options in your area as well.

Sad to hear about the hard drive crash. I was looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the CRF300 Rally. Could you throw a couple minutes about your experience in the middle of another review? All my motorcycles are over 10 years old so I won’t be ready to buy one until I’m retirement age. Lol

Great video. Makes me nostalgic for my time out west and getting out in the desert on a bike. (Jealously writing with my door closed from behind a desk on my TNP/lunch break in Atlanta.) Keep up the good work! You should consider a TNP Patreon jamboree out West some year. Make it remote enough that folks have to get out there, etc. You would hopefully get a good bunch, and it would be a good time.

Excellent pretty sweet terrain you have there. I do hope people and thieves don't screw it up. Looking forward to the scope reviews Might try later on in a different adventure of being dropped off a one location and picked up at another. Which If something happen have someone near to assist. Just a thought that came to mind. That way not being concerned about vehicles or equipment being unattended

The used market is crazy and I don’t see an end for as long as gas remains expensive. Honda trail and dual sport motorcycles are generally well made, good mannered, and tame. The days of cheap used trail bikes are long gone but maybe one of those pandemic Biden-buck purchases will go for cheap when it won’t start because of stale ethanol in the carb.
