The first of its kind: I tell you exactly where I'm going so you can duplicate this dual adventure motorcycle ride! We are on the KTM 890 Adventure for this pavement/dirt extravaganza. This is an epic multi-parter with fun live narration. Downside: the mic clips a lot in the wind...SO SORRY (I'm fixing it in future rides.)

But the scenes are so epic and ride so long I don't want to re-do or replace what was being said in post-production. Topics: urban sprawl in Utah, bad drivers, KTM 890 featuresMPG, and power, the Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki ZX14R, temps, waterfalls, creeks, rivers, camping opportunities, how fat I am, racing a Jaguar Type F on my dirt bike, what kind of Moto could do this ride, protecti ve gear, multi-tasking, Waze, and more.

This is LONG ride on pavement and dirt on a capable dual sport motorcycle. Lots of bikes can do it but I'd have at least a 200 mile range or extra gas with you.  But you'll be in the saddle for about 7 hours on this one!  You'll start in Utah go to Wyoming, pass thru lots of wilderness and return to the start location in a loop.

In this Part 1 we start at Macey's in Holladay Utah (4530 S Highland Dr, Holladay, UT 841170, ph 801 278-5390). This is an easy accessed meet up point of I-215. Then I'll take you up Parleys Canyon on I-80 on to Kamas UT and into the High Uintas.

Unlike any other Moto content yet, this will be a good series to watch if you are a motoring TNPr. At the very least, this is another fun video designed to give your credit card a break and just entertain you!

Love it! Question: How many GoPro batteries does it take to do a trip like this?

The Dude

Love the live narration. Not a big fan of the in studio voice narration. TNP live and unedited, old school.

The Nutnfancy Project

Good to know, I will do more of these probly. I have some others I'll have narrate in post so sorry about that.

Paul Voorhorst

I’m not a motorcycle guy but if I ever was you sold me on KTM. By the way you were very instrumental in my motorbike knowledge and awareness, I never knew what lane splitting was until I watched some of your videos, this was very helpful when I drive in California for the first time.

Controlling the roadrage impulse is like doing pull ups mentally.

steve garrett

Hit the drug store in kamas. Awesome burgers and fries. The norden 901 has me lusting. Still love my new T7

David and Elizabeth

Great views! Great bike! Nothing wrong with that style of camping if you have a family with little ones. And you called it. Bro in the silver SUV was definitely a Biden supporter! 🤣😅 ❤❤❤

Charles New

Very cool ride, i love the loop from salt lake up 89 to tetons and yellowstone back across bearthooth highway. ( sometimes a side trip to Banff if time allows ). Love the video. For KTM rentals out of salt lake see Seth at Utah Enduro Adventures.

James Lawson

Epic video love the scenery!! Really cool waterfalls

Good timing on this content. Just picked up a little Honda CRF300L dual sport trying to learn how to motorcycle at the ripe old age of 52. Keep having to suppress that inner voice telling me to put my seat belt on every time I break 40 mph or so, lol.

Jayson Fraser

Awesome ride. That’s a beautiful area. Just this last winter I went snowmobiling up there. We started right where you said that you and Sean started on the Wolverine. We crossed the bridge and went up over the ridge you can see to the right side of the road. It was a great time.

The Nutnfancy Project

Thanks for joining us here and your support even though you don't ride...and glad I opened up the culture a bit for you!

⚡️⚡️⚡️Hey Nutn! Just finished my 3rd term of 10 for my electrician apprentice. Next stop September and my next raise to $32.31hr! Pray for me 4th term is one of the toughest and starts at the end of September! Love the whole Nutn Fam! Signed the old apprentice! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Joe Shmo

Congrats! Way to go

TechNeck

Nutn talking about harleys being to slow... "yeah they only do 70-75 mph.... me doing math for kph 75x 1.6 = 120 kph.... about the top sustainable speed of my Dr650..... i think i can do 90 for a little bit then i smell burning oil lol.

Jordan Parker

Moto adventures and the beautiful Utah countryside, what a cool trip. Living in the South, I can only daydream about rides like that. Thank you for taking us along!

Stan White

Yes!!!!! Love the moto adventures!! Especially dual sport

Tom Small

Thanks for the great video. What are your thoughts on Honda CRF300L? P.O.U. mild to mid trail rides alongside my 10 year old son with his dirtbike. Will probably also cruise locally to get to trails (30 - 60 minutes on paved roads). Primary use is to get into the wilderness and explore.

Dione Kollee

Awesome vid! Watched it all the way through. Loved listening to you chat about various subjects & watching the gorgeous views. The camera angel through the GoPro was actually pretty enjoyable. Can’t wait to watch part 2. Proud of you for being more mindful of your food intake 💪🏽. Again, great vid!

Austin Bailey

Amazing. I watched this and will eat up the backpacking adventure too. Thanks. EQ (Epic Quote) "If I break down, I'll be living off my fat rolls."

Daniel Gray Webb

Yeah, totally liked the vid, good content good presentation. Totally with you on the environment too. I don't look at myself as an environmentalist I see my self as a humanist. The environment was here before us and it will be here after us so we need to take better care of it. The environment is sacred by God, and God will destroy the destroyers of the earth.

Andrew Stutzman

Love to see the moto content and you getting out Nutn. Your should I ride video helped convince me to get my "M" endorsement probably 7 years ago now.

Zack Harris

Thanks for sharing, great views etc. Love the adventures!

justin f.

Love this adventure. Great way to spend my lazy monday morning off work.

Tony Romano

Thanks for the ride Nutn, great stuff!

Pat McGroin

Love the moto content. The audio quality was tough to deal with. Your brain is on track. Also, Just Sold my 21 890 for a 22 Pan America. More JU-ICE to squeeze.

Anthony Schaad

Sweet moto vid Nutn!! I’ve been trying to get my Ktm690 out … I’m definitely late to the game this summer but I’m getting a new battery this week! Hopefully me and my brother can get our motorcycle license this summer and can ride on more than just back roads lol. Awesome content Nutn!

Todd Strelka

I've driven those roads in Summit and Wasatch counties so much 11-15 years ago when I was a mobile computer tech. It is sad to see all of the housing developments. Thanks for taking us on the ride. I love the conversation. Sorry your mic was clipping out. I've lived here for 16 years and haven't been to Mirror Lake yet. I've done some dispersed camping and shooting off of the highway south of Mirror Lake Highway though Woodland heading east to Cedar Hollow Complex. Lots of cows though.

David weaver

Very much enjoyed this ride!

Bluegill097

Not even a moto guy but I enjoyed listening to this on a drive thanks Nutn

Tomcat503

Thanks for the dual sport adventure moto vid (multi-part as well!!!)...1200GS rider here.

CincinnatiDan (Ohio)

Nut’n, this was a great video, I really enjoyed the dialog and ride along. Maybe I’ll make a similar ride one day... in a 4-wheeler as I don’t ride a bike :-(. I am 53 so better hurry up.

CincinnatiDan (Ohio)

“Enjoy the machine”... that is where Porsches and Audis come in for me. By the way, where was Charles in those photos? Gorgeous peaks... maybe you could add a caption to the next video.

Jesse (Sphinx)

Loved this. Looking forward to part 2. Audio was clippy but easily heard--glad you posted it as is.

Steve Feeser

Great ride I can’t wait for part two. I will watch it. I’m in the category with your friend with the junk motorcycles. I but what I can afford. There’s things I want but just don’t really need. Really Jonesing for a Wilson Combat lightweight professional in 45. I’ll get by with my old Kimber pro carry. I think a Yamaha dual sport 250 is in my future. That would do on back roads and dirt roads of PA. Keep the motorcycle vids coming!!!

Phil H

Didn't know I'd be into the moto content, but I absolutely love it. Pulled the trigger and took the MSF course last weekend

BadgerTails

Went from a R1100GSA to the KTM 950 ADV, still have it and love it. Rock it!

More gear reviews for the bike culture are needed. Thiinking about an Aprilia Tuareg 660. Its a beast
