Sick blade. I need MOAR.

Todd Richardson

Oh I think I know how this is gonna go already before watching...🙄

No idea what this review is gunna be like but I have one of these and one of first uses I got a bunch of minor edge rolls on it. Now Let’s see what father nutn has to say on it! 👌

Yeah I also bent the tip on mine haha. And for reference I was cutting some slightly woody vines and the raspberry canes (the spiked red vines we have in some parts of southern Canada) I know it’s really cheap, but it still disappointed me.

Nicolas Royston

I had a slightly larger schrade kukri style machete that was $40ish. It went through quite a bit and was a great chopper.

I think I bought this in a combo pack in black and neon green wayyy back. Gave it to my nephew when he started camping out on his own. I just got my ESEE Junglas and ESEE 6(Zombie green) for firecraft and just love them. For comp. price range(around $25)I get the Gerber Gator Machete and just use 'em till they're destroyed and get another.

Anyone have the SOG SOGfari Kukri machete? Looks like another option in this arena. FYI someone has the SOG Pillar black 5" fixed S35VN orange micarta handle for $99.99 while the Aegis is $48

Short test here but the wood is pretty hard...did surprisingly well actually. Rec'd for its low price

Look at all that dead wood, lucky you had a Schrade Machete (.. lucky I've got a compass in the stock, lol)

Thinking about saving for a Honda 650L, jealous of the KTM.

PDuncan

I am usually a gun only review guy. But this is a pretty sweet machete/knife. Thanks for the review Nutn!

CincinnatiDan (Ohio)

Nut’n, out of curiosity, how far from home are you when filming this knife/machete review?

DACampbell

The machete info was good but the views from the locale was awesome.

Jon Chabot

Sorry Nuttin, dont like the helmet heavy breathing sounds. Not up to your usual standards.

Anthony Schaad

I have a couple schrade knives, 3 right now I’ve kinda been testing and really love cold steel srk, Ontario knife marine raider Bowie, and the Esse 4… but I gotta say that cold steel can do about anything!! Great stuff Nutn!

"Why Big Knives Don't Suck" I found it, the link didn't work. Allie the Mountain Dog was in it, lot's of snow. WOW has time flown by Lt. Col
