Don’t get me wrong the cadet is great but 70 bucks is just a bit too steep for a cadet. This one on the other hand is just a few bucks more for an awesome 4.75 blade! My order is in.

Great knife and coloration. In for one tonight; maybe a couple later this weekend. I love carrying the black version that almost jumps out of hand as that massive blade swings to open. A prior employment only permitted 'folding' knives on premises. The AK74 XXl was my everyday carry there; suck it protectionists. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication. PS The Cadet special editions were fantastic. I carry one during dress pant outings.

Just watched the video. I have to believe these will be gone way more quickly than the Victorinox. I guess I need to look at the Victorinox more like a multitool than a knife. Otherwise it's just not the type of knife I spend my money on. Dang, I just realized I can still get one though. I think I'll just stick with the Hogue Deka MagnaCut that fell into my cart while I was getting the Bokers...

Got my TNP XXL Kalishnikov, because I'm obviously compensating for the last TNP blade which was the little teeny tiny Cadet. Haha! Thanks for the shout out in the vid, Nutn. I need to get you some updated photos of my TNP blade collection. The Spyderco TNP blades are flooding the secondary market right now. It looks like a high percentage of collectors got multiple knives to try to make a buck. So if anyone is missing a TNP Delica or Endura go check eBay and you should be able to find one. The Dragonflys are WAY scarce. Those do not show up on eBay very often and when they do, the price is very high (compared to what Nutn offered them for originally). I am still on the hunt (and have been for years now) for the Holy Grail TNP Special Edition blade...the TNP Microtech Ultratech. I am so mad I didn't join TNP before that blade came out. But once I find one, the victory will be even more sweet than if I bought one brand new. Keep calm and collect TNP blades.

Yep, this is a big knife and for that reason I wish the blade had a different steel. D2 is an ok steel but maybe K390 would have been a better choice. Regardless I ordered one.. lol..

IIRC the dragonfly was the first patreon special edition blade and only 500ish were produced. Patreon sold them out; they never hit the public sale page. Nutn learned that lesson and all the special editions since then have been in a 1200-1400ish production run.

I think the smaller watch makers like Deep Blue or Long Island would be a good match to make a TNP watch. Aviator style chrono with bright orange hands and a KC-135 on the case back?

I have pretty much decided that any TNP special edition knife that’s under $150 I personally will get. Any more than that and it’ll be cutting deeply into my training ammo budget. Only so much of the money I make can go to fun stuff.

Cool blade, I ordered one for the collection. I really don't have a practical use-case for this size and type of blade though. Next knife - make the best large outdoors knife for us. Beat out the Ontario RTAK II. You've sold high-end knives before; make it $150-$220 of quality capability and value. Good scales, great steel, and the right size and weight and shape for survival/camping with wood processing a priority and path clearing second, defensive fighting a distant third. Something designed for batoning and intended to replace a saw and hatchet in a backpacking kit. Do it right, I'll buy three at least. (Proof I use my large knives: https://www.thektog.org/threads/show-your-knives.216237/#post-2525799 - My RTAK-II is my firewood knife at the house and truck camping.) Or, better yet, a pair sold as a set... One large for woodscrafting and one smaller for food/small tasks. And make sure they have a great sheath. Keep up the great content.

Picked mine up today, #74. Aaaand I did not realize it was going to be this big LOL. I will not be carrying this around and using it. Plus they are a little fuzzy with the you can own it, but you can't conceal it parts of the new laws. But the knife is awesome ! Stout spring, love the camo coloring. Smooth and addictive to press that button.
