Another Nutnfancy Life Philosophy video! Here we do it on the trails while riding the Honda CRF300 motorcycle. We are in a remote desert wilderness as we discuss how to handle the doubts that you have about yourself. I draw upon my own life because I've gone through that also. With a life marked by tragedy (many family members are dead now) I've had to gather myself up more than a few times and figure out how to make things work. Sometimes you just have a lot of doubts and maybe feel you can get where you want to go. You feel like settling for a "subsistence life." Don't, keep dreaming and keep working.

I'll talk a bit about making God your partner in life. Work as hard as you can and He can make up the rest. Discuss your goals and aspirations you have with Him, whatever they are. Convince him you're doing your part. Listen for the answers he will give you, where to go, what to do next. I've been through that process many times. Some friends and family can and often do fail to support you through your trials and goals and once again you make look around and see that you're all alone in your quest. Drive on.

More examples are given and some even crop up in the trail I'll make examples of. Marriage and importance of doing it young in life are discussed (Mrs Nutnfancy). Also how your small successes can lead to bigger successes. Set goals, evaluate how you did on them and then do better. Never never give up...on yourself. You're a child of God that has special abilities and talents and He's rooting for you!

Timeless advice! Love this type of content.

Brandon Hutchins

I’ve been waiting for a new philosophy video thank you!

Fred

Life philosophy vids are the best! Thanks!

David Elkins

Nuttn. I’m laid up with herniated disks and this is what I’ve been needing. Not Disney-, or subPrime, but some good old Nuttnfancy Project! Thx for the content.

T Boy

I have been looking for a 300 rally myself. Would love to see a review and hear what if anything you have done or will do with the suspension.

David and Elizabeth

Partner with God. Set goals that are realistic. The good ones get taken early... So many nuggets of wisdom and encouragement here, Nutn. As always, we appreciate your humbleness, humility, and vulnerability. True servant's heart. ❤❤❤

David Morrisse

Thank you Nutnfancy for your candid sage advice. I so appreciate you.

Robert Avery

I always look forward to the philosophy videos the most. Thank you Sir.

You certainly touched all around this, but I would like to emphasize the point that if a man wants to succeed in life he should be the husband of one wife. Find "the right" lady for you and put the hard work in to be a good husband and maintain a solid marriage. If you want to get knocked back to square one in life, or worse square negative one, just get yourself a divorce. You're going to have to work your ass off and you better hope you picked a lady who is willing to work her ass off, but there is nothing as rewarding in this life (financially and spiritually) as a successful Godly marriage. You wanna be a millionaire? Step one: don't get a divorce.

Before I get into the deep stuff, Nutn have you heard of or considered replacing the damn GoPro with the Insta360 ONE? The mounting bracket uses GoPro mounts.

Jeff Hudgens

Nutn is exactly right about envisioning your dreams… I used to write my name with MD behind it on paper because I dreamed about being an ER doc… it was a very long road that cost me tons of time, money, and energy… but I’ve made it. I never listened to the ones that told me I couldn’t do it, and I made it. Don’t stop… keep moving forward guys.

I also lost my dad young and unexpectedly in my mid 20s (31 now so really not that long ago). I met my life long partner about 4 months before he passed. I have the opposite problem with evaluations from leaders thinking I am either not doing enough or meeting expectations and usually exceeding them. Currently very fulfilled in a career that I love in fraud prevention, I got on with the company that was my ultimate goal in February of this year. I have been struggling with motivation in college working towards my "retirement job" of being a clinical therapist. At the same time I am struggling to make progress on a house that I am building myself (former carpenter by trade). This video is so timely for me and I want to thank both you and God for it because it's given me a lot to reflect on.

Tim Jarvis

Never had a dad, made myself what I am. I must say I'm jealous but I get it. Wish I had a dad. Self made through trial by fire I guess. I'd rather have a dad to 20 than not have one at all. o7 @Nutnfancy

It kind of sounds like we have some similarities in our upbringing and formative years. My dad was a naval aviator, primarily flying the P3C at various naval air bases, but also the T-34C as an instructor pilot in Corpus Christi back in the 80's. He had a massive stroke in a simulator (working as a cargo freight pilot for Gemini Air Cargo) when I was 19 or 20 years old (2003-ish.) He never recovered his mobility or speech, and my siblings and I lost the foundation of our family - and we had to grow up fast. He was my hero, despite our frequent differences of opinion (he freaked out hard when I bought my first AK...) But I know he's proud, even if he can't communicate it. I always knew that I wanted to be in law enforcement, particularly in parks, and I always knew that I wanted to be actively involved in firearms instruction. I happened to be born with gifts that support those goals, and have been very successful. Not rich, but happy. I've made a lot of mistakes along the way. And I'm sure I will again in the future.

STLParkRanger13 (IG: Sharpshooterjon)

I dunno if I agree with this. Divorce sucks. I'm not pro-divorce. I think it's definitely better to get it right the first time, and not be in that mess. However, something that sucks worse is when two people grow in separate directions, both become unhappy, and cannot seem to make it work, and stay together when divorce is probably the better way forward. Some of my closest friends married early, realized it was a mistake, got divorced, and have since remarried to wonderful people. And they're super happy now. Speaking to the Godliness of it: I worship a God that believes in second chances, in so much that He sent his son to die for our sins and mistakes, our shortcomings, misgivings, and failures. I'm certain He understands our mistakes more than we do, and believes in our path forward. Of course, I respect if your position differs.

I have to say thank you for expressing your faith in this video, Nutn. I hope I'm not overstepping by saying so, but God has saved my life numerous times. I was a high risk baby and had to have emergency surgery when I was just 8 hours hold. My trachea and esophagus were fused together so food would go to my lungs which makes for a very bad day. When they had me opened up they realized that one of my kidneys was multi-cystic and practically shut down. Needless to say, He spared my life as he had other avenues for me to go down. Fast forward 19 years - I ended up getting my EMT license and then my Paramedic license. For 14 years I worked as a first responder and saw things at such a young age that are hard for many to see. I ended up going down a road that many do - I became an alcoholic. I was able to destroy a bottle of vodka a night and still be completely functional the next day. One night I got overly drunk and started to cuss God out. My bed shook and my wall turned bright white and I just saw a shadow. I heard a booming voice "What do you wish for my child?" I cried out, "I don't want to drink anymore!" Then, I have to say I'll never forget these words - "Then don't, you have been cleared of this sin" - I woke up at around 0600 the next morning without a hangover and no desire to ever drink again. I then moved to retail, went back to college where I got my degree in IT Networking (Cisco Systems specialty). I'm now 41, have a good job working for local government as one of their network administrators, have a house and just a hair over 3 months ago married my best friend who has brought my closer to God than anything. We've found a good church close by our house and she likes to joke saying that the pastor and I should honestly be related as we BOTH carry a firearm everywhere we go. For anyone who may read this, God is real and He does love you. I've been down many roads and seen many things that I wish I never saw (I had to do CPR on 5 kids and only got 1 back). Don't be afraid to reach out to Him because I can guarantee you that He will reach back.

Scott Nelson

Feel better David! Myself and my wife are just getting over that 24 hour flu bug and TNP kept me entertained, my wife on the other hand - not so much. She learned the sound of Nutn's voice and then just says "No.... You cannot buy anything right now" lol

mauserwaffen 98

Awesome video sir! Are you up in the Wasatch? Agree about losing part of your soul when your father dies, there is a part of them that lives on with you, but a part of you dies with them. Thanks for the rock-solid motivational advice and encouragement... it needs to be heard by TNPers of all ages. Rock on!

small axe

Your mileage may vary. In cases of abuse or infidelity I think divorce is entirely appropriate. I'm just saying that if you get a divorce it's going to set you, and your wife and kids, back on the ladder to success. I guess what I'm getting at is that if you can find a way to make it work, a one man one woman low conflict marriage is a recipe for success. Financially, for raising children, and for having a civilization in general.

Plumber Angelo

I’m not crying, you’re crying! As men we feel the need to be the emotional rock of our family, the protector, the provider, the captain. We are those things but it is important to recognise our faults and weaknesses. Every day I ask god to give me the strength to be the man my family needs me to be, as well as try put others before myself. To be more considerate, understanding and patient. It’s a long road for all of us, I appreciate the video Nutn. Really needed it..

Plumber Angelo

Stay the course sir, it’s not about what cards you’re dealt, more about what you make of them!

Moe Mansour

I re-watch "Live to Impress Yourself" about once a year. No joke. And I've been applying and integrating those concepts since 2011. They've helped me succeed in countless ways. I even have "live to impress yourself" listed as my favorite quote on facebook.

John McKenzie

This ☝️ life philosophy video 📹 dropped at a time when I really needed it. Thank you Nutn 🙏

Iowa Dave

Thanks for another great life philosophy video Nutn. I love your other videos, but these are the most important videos you make. Thanks for being a great source of guidance, especially for young people, in a world that has come adrift from it's moorings. Keep up the great work, you are making a difference in people's lives.

Andrettski

I've been wanting a dual sport recently. Been looking at this CRF Rally, the KLX 300 and the WR250. I'm hoping Yamaha introduces a new 300 or better, a 330. 316 pounds! for the CRF with only a 296cc engine is crazy heavy. It's more for cruising at the beach because this category aren't very good off-road options, the WR probably the best for dirt outta the 3.

Zack Harris

Agree w Iowa Dave, Great message Nutn, God’s timing is always perfect! Wife really needed this today. Keep up the good work.

The Nutnfancy Project

Yep that sucks. But you are trucking and on the right track. We all have adversity. The key is as Plumber says, stay that course!

The Nutnfancy Project

Nice! Glad to hear that Moe, so glad I'm able to connect to quality people like you guys here and help in some small ways. That's my purpose in TNP and what God wants me to continue to do.

The Nutnfancy Project

Thank you Mauser! This was down by central utah on this trip. Glad you liked the discussion.

Todd Strelka

Wow, thank you for the heartfelt message and life advice. I'm grateful for when I found my hot wife when she was 24 in Las Vegas. I was 28 when we met. Glad I didn't get leftovers, LOL. When I was young, I didn't get much life direction from my parents. I also served a LDS mission (at age 26) which helped me gain confidence and set attainable goals. Marrying my wife was the best decision which has become a great partnership. She's helped me to become a better man and I've made great strides in my career path. Your life philosophy videos have also greatly helped me focus on what's important. I definitely could not do this without God in my life. Thank you for your calling to help spread truth and goodness to others around the world via these platforms. I'm a TNP patron for life.

Charles New

Well done, and i like the value motorcycles , that honda 300 is a great bike.

DuginIN

Getting married wearing a white tuxedo. Me too but it wasn’t my choice. Small sacrifice to please her.

Jordan Parker

I love you ability, and willingness, to share the trials and difficult moments in your past, and describing how they shaped who you are today. Keeping yourself grounded in faith is one of the most important things you can do, and something that I have to continually keep fresh in my mind. Thank you again, Nutn, for the great content!

I trekked through the valley of death for 20 years, after finding out my weight problems were due to a glandular condition, which I came to do dying from. It took me 6 to hit rock bottom, after that. I went into recovery, and spent many years in holding pattern because I couldn't get the help I needed to go back to school and update my skillset. I came close to death again in 2018 from the same glandular issue. I was living in Skid Row at the time. I was blessed to have a different perspective from the first near death experience. I prayed to God, while I was laying in the hospital. Some kind benefactors offered to move me out of Skid Row. They have my undying loyalty. It took me another two years to recover. I started back to school this year, I am learning how to fix cars. I want to be an automotive instructor in 5 years. Some are telling, I'll be too old, but I am not listening. I also wanted to get my CCW permit, but that was impossible in Commiefornia. I just finished the course for my CCW permit today. I'll schedule my appointment for the fingerprints and paper work next week. I'm 52 years old and feel like I am just getting started. Never quit and turn it over to God. If God is for you, who can be against you?

Mark Horan

I enjoy all the philosophy videos. Side note. Good to see you on a less expensive bike, easier for me to see my self getting into adventuring on a motor cycle when you are not always using a KTM. I have a CRFL300, put about 2850 miles on it in the last 12 months. Good all around bike. My brother just went from a CRF250L to a Husquavarna 350, even though that bike is a lot faster, we are still able to ride the dirt roads together. I have the goal of making 4000 miles over the next 12 months. Yes, the bike is heavy and if you are on single track and have to pick the bike up more than a few times is gets heavy real fast.

Rogue Weasely

I've watched/listened to every philosophy video you've made multiple times. I really enjoy them!

Zachary

We live for the ones that are not here. Hard work always pays off. Find you're line and take it full throttle

Nutn, Great format for a general discussion like life philosophy videos. The acoustics are surprisingly good.

Patrick Richards

Love the video. You’re an awesome dude Nutn!

Mike10

Love the philosophy videos keep them coming!

Christopher Davis

Hang in there, man. You’re absolutely right. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and nothing will be impossible for you.

Micah G

Thanks nutn!

Aaron Walker

Yes more life philosophy talks. Moto or boat or other. I support you if you continue to sprinkle a little more Holy father into the conversation.

david rockwell

The insights and emotional honesty expressed in this philosophy trail ride is appreciated. Some of your early life examples stirred recollections of mistakes I've made. The emphasis on "small successes" is a fundamental foundation for future paths. We must give ourselves permission to fail well. Acceptance of achievements that fall short of goal setting prevents damaging self-critique. We lose focus on the role God's (or your higher power) influence on our lives. A strong familial or spiritual center greatly assists any endeavor. Thank you for the continued dedication and effort.

Mitch Ceiling

Needed this video today. Made a pretty decent mistake at work and I was beating myself about it but this video helped

Joey

I must say you are like a dad to a lot of us in the project who grew up without a father. Thank you for putting yourself out there and relaying some of your wisdom. I want you to know we are listing and taking notes, even if your nephew isn’t! Your Philosophy videos are wonderful and inspiring, please keep them coming! Also, your rant videos always have me laughing!

Jerome J

This video hits close to home, I kept pushing the viewing back because I knew it would make me contemplate some personal necessary hard choices. One of your most important videos. Thank you Nutn'.
