I subscribe to a lot of YouTube channels and no one else is as REAL and cares genuinely about the viewers and Nutnfancy does. He cares about helping us turn ourselves into better men. God works in mysterious ways. After living pretty much my whole life blindly following the "Spirit of the Age" as an atheist, then coming to the realization that, hey, there is a spiritual world out there, followed by lots of seeking while being reminded in ever-increasing albeit small ways that Christ is the God Man, that the only one who ultimately deserves worship is the Most-High God, the Trinity. Eventually, this subtle beating got through when I found and went to church for the first time of my own volition during Great Lent earlier this year. Thus I have started my slow process of transformation to become, indeed as you said perfectly, more Christ-like. I hope my day of judgement is a long way off yet; I still got some repentin' to do. I was diagnosed earlier this year with RA life has been a struggle ever since some long days of pain and stiffness I remember early on asking god why me how did I get this horrible disease!! It has also made me see how lucky I am to have loving family and friends and to realize that I can handle this and life goes on! Your video is just what I needed thank you!

Why should I even try? I believe it’s because God gives us all job to do, a test to take. I think our job isn’t to impress the boss. I think it’s our job to impress God. The ass kisser that takes the promotion unjustly, whatever…. You’re simply observing the guy next to you failing his test. What I can say for sure is, the good deeds we do get stamped into reality forever. Our good deeds shape reality. Of course, evil will lie and manipulate perceptions, but evil can’t change the reality we create. That’s why we try!

Maybe I didn't think I coveted much bc Im not into expensive things or notoriety..but if Im honest with myself I really have coveted. I looked at happy couples married for life and wondered why I missed out on that. I need to correct course and focus on gratitude. Yes the follow through is harder than just saying it. I’m only 16 min into this and had to write this tip to y’all: Here’s how I worked on my spirit. In November 2020, I pretty much quit watching the news. So many lies in the news so I searched out truth. The Bible, I know is truth, so I spent my time memorizing scripture. I partnered with another man and as Iron sharpens iron, we held each other accountable and tackled one new verse every week. We downloaded off the app store The Bible Memory App. It has a red bible icon if you look for it. To date we have 223 verses memorized. To pull this off, we get in the word most every day of the year. We spend a little bit of time in the truth, and this alone has raised my spirit. It also gave me “ammo” to share the word with others in my daily walk. Knowing these verses, having the full quiver of “arrows” lets me pull the right one at the right moment to share with another person and give them hope. Raise their spirit. Back to the video now!!!

I’m 57 years old. Old enough to notice patterns in life. I’ve had crappy stuff happen to me. In that season it sucks. If anyone told me it was for good, I would not believe it. BUT, after reflecting back years later it is clear to me that if NOT for that “crappy stuff” I would not have received a blessing. It’s just a course change that we NEEDED forced upon us. God knows what He is doing…trust me.

Thank the Lord! The best thing I ever did was join a Friday morning mens fellowship in my late 40’s. That bible study did for my faith journey what just attending church did not. It was there that I grew relationships with other Godly men who inspired me to do better.

August 31 was the 3 year anniversary of the day one of my best high school friends taking his life. At the same time my first kid was born the August 11. We just moved across the continent to Alaska. My life is at a high point right now, which makes it bittersweet. The last time we talked we hadn't seen each other for a few years since he graduated but it was like we picked up right where we left off. We both weren't exactly studs growing up but we were both making some good progress in our lives as far as our education, careers, and relationships. When we parted I felt really happy for us and hopeful for our futures. It shook me to my core when his dad let me know he was gone. We hear a lot about loneliness and a lack of hope, especially in young men. I wasn't always super confident that things in my life would work out, but I always believed they would. I'm always trusted in God's plan for me. I hope everyone can find that hope, and if you can't I hope you can find someone to lean on until you do.

nutn, you will never be sorry for sharing the gospel and you will not regret sharing it too much. I recently moved my family to a beautiful place, a brand new home exactly how my wife wanted it. we worked at this for 18 months stressed out etc. It took quite a bit of thinking and praying on how to figure out how to do it without jeapordizing what we already built. The other morning I went for a hike, near my new home, LOL. I thought to myself thank god it wasn't given to me. I have watched at various times members of my family get given things while I didn't get anything. I had a kid when I was 18 and the mother and parents blew me off, I was crushed, a painful divorce. fired from my job during a very slow time of the year for my profession. all of these setbacks gave me something I had to have. all of them gave me character. One even was the foundation of my testimony, a testimony I need more than ever as I have to keep my family steered in the right direction during this insane times we live in. The story isn't all the way written, always remember that!!!

I just saw that Biden gave $100,000,000 to the Palestinians, which most people know will go to Hamas. I immediately thought about the section of this video where Nutn talks about maintaining hope in the face despair "when it looks like evil just keeps winning and winning and winning, why should I do anything? Because God is in control". This is one of those times I think. I originally saw this on YouTube. Seeing another example of evil winning, drove me to re-join Nutnfancy's Patreon. I've been following the channel since 2012 and a Patreon member a few different times. I rejoined because I really want to have a connection to people that are pulling for good, at a time when it seems increasingly rare. I worry the US will not make it to the next election, and even if it does I'm very skeptical about the fidelity of our elections after what we have seen over the last few years. May God help us!
