It's actually been since 2012 since I posted a RRA booth review! Holy cow.  So here we are again covering a keystone brand from TNP's past and perhaps STILL the most accurate AR15 I've ever owned, Rock River. We'll talk a lot about that legendary and real accuracy of their guns and you'll see I was right as to the reason. Not too many booths at SHOT have their shot targets posted for all the world to see. RRA does.

Mrs Nutnfancy is here as we launch into an update with most things RRA. Keep in mind this is Nutnfancy style so expect irreverent humor, unexpected detours, and then zoning in on the technical details of what the company is building now.

We'll start off with "Andrew" and then get transferred over to "Chuck" the OWNER of the company as we progress through the product line. You'll see there's no fakeness here and I'm impressed with Chuck and everyone on his team. It makes me want to get and review more RRA guns! This is a feature length review and it's fun. Time will pass quickly for you and you'll probably be reminded of how great and yet grounded to reality the Rock River Arms AR15s really are!

Awesome! Just like super classic TNP booth reviews!

steve garrett

Rock River, is STILL one of my favorites for parts. I use their barrels when I can for my builds. many don't know you can just buy parts from them. While you might find barrels that shoot better than theirs. I would say might. I have tried all the top makers, lilja, criterion, shilen, black hole, and some I can't even remember. line up a random RRA barrel and a random barrel from each of the other companies. and my money is on the RRA barrel. I love their varmint 2 stage triggers which I bought for $65 on sale a while back. the RRA chrome BCG is also my favorite BCG. but as we know many of their other stuff is outdated.

The Hide

Thanks Nutn, your reviews are the only ones I ever watched lol

Guy Actual

Please go check out the Cannak Booth and the Foxtrot Mike booth! I want to go to Shot next year.

The Nutnfancy Project

Exactly. RRA remains one the most accurate ARs I've ever shot. All their components as you know are amazing and value priced. I have rec'd their components the whole time here in the Project.

Ryan Reese

I forgot to mention it in the Zoom but I’d like to see KelTec’s booth. And if Chad is really over at Century, would you be able to get with him?

Joshua Pulliam

Sweet! Didn’t know you were going to be at Shot this year! I missed the zoom call or I probably would’ve known. It will be nice to have objective content from shot. Everyone so far is raving about the Daniel Defense H9. I’d like to hear your thoughts if you have a chance to take a look at it.

Matthew Sinn

Nutn at SHOT is always a treat. Been some of my favorite videos over the years. I hope you find some good gems for us.

Racing Psychosis

Love it. I've been looking at a new RRA. Probably going to be getting one.

Nick Clements

What? Your at shot? How long has it been? Hahaha

Boris Covfefeovich

I understand why Nutn' quit doing these, but the OG is always the best in class.

DuginIN

Excellent. Enjoyed the video. Your positive RRA reviews is why my first AR15 was RRA LAR-15 FES Predator in December 2015. It’s a keeper.

BadgerTails

Rock River Gay porn @the Rave Review, LOVIN IT!!! Go BARBIE GO!!!

Nate Berglund

I'm left eye dominate but right handed. I shoot rifles left handed but pistols right handed (I do cross train). I have been looking at the RRA left hand ARs for a long time. It might be time to pick one up!

Moe Mansour

You definitely got a talent for impromptu interviews. No kidding, your on the spot humor is awesome.

Andrew H

Awesome content! Totally overlooked RRA but will check them out now!

Andrew Helsel

The first time I ever bought a separate upper was in 2016 black friday deal, it was the RRA lightweight carbine with carbon fiber handguard. They should do another very light model. Only uppers I've pieced together myself perform better, and they were easily double the price and not as lightweight.

Elijah Ballard

Building an AR right now. I’m going to pick up one of those stage 2 triggers.

Chris Kales

RRA has been my go-to for AR uppers - particularly their RRage series when they are on sale. Love 'em! God forbid I ever need to take an AR to war it will be a RRA.

kylenor

I love seeing the booth review! Too funny just the other day I was thinking back to the IWI booth review from ten years ago or so. BTW in all seriousness I need to pick up a PCC and their LAR BT9G looks rad, even the cheap version. The Mountain Rifle looks awesome too for a good AR option.

Seeker Keyl

That was fun! I don't remember the last time you did show videos. Nice!

Mr. Ed

Love the Shot Show coverage! Good reminder about RRA too they're killing it.

David Spinks

@nutnfancy we need a nutnfancy special edition collaboration with Rock River on an AR or a 1911!

Seeker Keyl

Although dude talk about a bad website. They're not doing themselves any favors! Tell them to revamp that sucker and they'll sell more product!

Davis Collins

Man this is so great. Looking forward to all the show content! Larry the legend

Andrew Mullins

I purchased my first Rock River based off your 2012 review, lol. Bought one of the X series rifles when they first came out. I've since swapped the hand guard, buttstock, and replaced the chunky muzzle device it came with for a battlecomp. It's been one of my best and most reliable rifles! Love it to this day. Thanks for the booth review.

hoplite ⚔️

Any knife companies there you need to check in on?

Rob Miller

More of this. Love the old school vibe. But don’t make it a habit. Once a decade is good.

Todd Strelka

This review was very entertaining and informative. Cool conversation with the CEO.

Sean Evans

Great work. This is stand out.

Hold Fast Joe

I wish community section was still up. I love rra shows accuracy tests. I would like to show two of my barrels, both bartlein $600 barrels. One is 1.5moa the other is one ragged hole (10 shot groups). Huge difference and manufactuter will not warranty the bad one. Despite the one being very good, avoid bartlein

BadgerTails

Do you miss it too? It was just plain fun doing comparos, a little bit of bragging here and there...having fun!.

Hold Fast Joe

Sounds like patreon chat might have replaced it. It was a fun thing to check out through the week. I'm pretty disappointed by bartlein. I was on cloud 9 with the first one shooting quarter moa. Then i got the second to have a spare and it is not awful but no where near a $600 barrel should be. No refund, no fix, no replace

Racing Psychosis

Thanks forgot about that. I would think a revisit, there's been a lot of people making mags since then as well.

Steve Feeser

You’ve got to review one of their 1911s! Especially if they make an alloy frame! I’m interested in a 10mm govt model. But I also need another lightweight in 45. Good review. It was really good to hear from the employees and the owner. Really came across as good people. I like that.

Dean

That was awesome!! Ty Nutn,

David Gaines

Can you imagine being in the gun industry for “18 years” and NOT KNOWING who Nutn is?! That’s just embarrassing. I’m not saying you have to like TNP but to not even know about it? Dude doesn’t know he own industry.

Carl Skidmore

Awesome review man. Glad to see shot show content. Thanks

Paul Kwiatkowski

That was the most fun review ever and I will be buying a Rock River Arms mountain gun

David Beard

Catching up on the Shot Show fun...awesome booth review!

Dalton

This booth review was 🔥 Thx Nutn & Mrs.Nutn
