So I'm curious, being that these are unearthly being and probably don't have the same social strains as humans do, do they...not really get fussed over sexual partners? Like not cheating per say but like would Bernard even consider it relevant if Hadrian boinks somebody else besides him so long as he still gets attention? Is it a status thing like where Hadrian can boink around or allow Bernard to boink around with his specific say so but Bernard can't go making those calls without him? I'm sorry if that's a lot of questions but I'm really curious about the dynamics being set up here and what standards are inherent in 'demonic' society.

Which is totally valid and welcome! I'm curious about the overall concept. Because when Bernard goes to talk to the other hellhounds it seems pretty clear that Julius and the others aren't pissed that he's fucking someone else. They're pissed that (from their perception) Bernard turned his back on them the second he had a cushy gig.

It really depends on the couple just like irl, though generally in hell there's a lot more solo poly folk and dedicated relationships aren't typically the norm! So while both Bernard and Hadrian have both been pretty prolific before meeting each other, they've sort of settled into an unspoken monogomy with each other since there's more romance in their partnership than they've experienced before. Once their relationship becomes more established they could potentially talk about being open again, but its still shaky right now and B especially is not cozy in the high court enough to sleep around with anyone else.
