I am so looking forward to this! What an unusual and interesting topic. This is going to be great .

Dan

this is super interesting! I remember the old Disney Channel ones very well

Interesting, especially the mention of the music notes! Probably not the same you’re mentioning, but since 1997 or so I’ve had a music sequence that I’ve had stuck in my head that I swear is from a Disney Channel bumper. The comments probably aren’t the best way to transcribe this, but assuming we’re working in C major: C-G-E—E-E-F-E-D-C All my searches of bumpers from that time period have come up empty but I’d love to know when that bumper actually existed, if there’s any footage of it, and why it’s so catchy even these 25+ years later. Looking forward to this, hoping you came across it!

This looks like it's going to be incredibly My Shit, excellent.

I know this isn’t it, but the “Let’s watch a Disney Channel Movie” is forever stuck in my head. On the topic of bumpers the first thing that always comes to mind is Boomerang. I’m still sore about how that was rebranded.

S

This is soooooo hype

Clare

This looks incredible. I’m unwell.

Ethan Brondum

The production value on this is top tier, I can wait to see it in full!

Nick

Looks amazing! Great work Kevin!

Josh Ehlke

very excited thank you perj

Sooooo excited to hear a discussion about the history of the Disney Channel Bumpers. The original MTV, vintage Nickelodeon and old school The Disney Channel bumpers I think were partially produced by the same teams. I'm excited to hear the stories about the history of Disney's Channel Bumpers. So excited!
