Just real quick about the post title: those performances were at MAMA 2014. Not 2015. I got a bit confused at first because you already watched the MAMA 2015 performance from Bigbang 😅

Daniel Goland

My bad, I got so confused with all these titles 😅

I am not gonna lie. That Taeyang Eyes nose lips in Fantastic Duo has been in my downloads and fav playlist in youtube since it came out 8 years ago. The video got viral and the girl went on to a music show but was struggling because she was quite lost on what her originality is. I don’t know where she went after that.

The guys in the Goodboy performance were ex YG artist iKon and YG artist WINNER. Younger bros of Bigbang and older bros of TREASURE.. That was why I recommended YG xGame Caterers before. Hahaha

Ooooh, that last clip is from Mama 2014! Please check out a video of this performance with lyrics. GD is dissing Mama HARD in the beginning. That performance has become almost a bit of a legendary one nowadays, it's hilarious. Especially when he dissed them again at Mama 2024. 😂 Definitely seen a few of that with lyrics on YT! And also, I had never seen that first performance with Taeyang and that lady. Holy shit, that was beautiful. I literally teared up.

Sascha

Oh fuck yes, those are all god tier stages, whoever recommended these well freaking done!

Sascha

So the concept of Fantastic Duo is that amateur/unknown singers battle each other for the right to perform with the original artist in this case Taeyang, so this girl beat multiple other competitors to get the right to perform this legendary stage with him, unfortunely I havent heard from her ever since so I dont think she's still active in the industry, but if so she's probably more of an indie/independet artist who isnt that well known

Sascha

Not sure how accurate this translation is, but here's a rough idea of what GD said during his rap: This is a year-end fishing for pushovers. Bait. Touts snatching them without a hook. My record, skill is always (seen) as a lie, I'm so sorry but I love you. I just f**k it, it's a quickie. It's been a year, MAMA. Because you set such a large table/awards (sang),You hand it out generously so your children don't fight. I'm all grown up now so I get full from even watching, Just feed the younger ones. August 18 of '88. You getting wrinkles trying to copy my fate, is your fate. My age is adding two and seven, it's natural. I'm the player on stage, so just be a fangirl. Show Me The Money? I don't even know how much I have. Gold watch and necklace is just cute. This year passed and new year is snatching up. I'll share with you. Dragon (yong) Money. Here you go, allowance (yong-don). basically just dissing MAMA for creating awards and giving them out like candy

Daniel Goland

Hehe, I picked them out myself based on views and comments in the original videos😅

One song you should absolutely check out is “haru haru”. The song was released in 2007 in up beat arrangement, but they always perform the acoustic or rnb version. The haru haru mv is interesting and the made tour live version is my all time favorite. https://youtu.be/BlYAJmITJZU?si=Plrs7Eok9zNpJCg4

Miranda

My bad, I actually watched both YouTube and Patreon reactions s

Did anyone notice Anthony from Riize Dad as one of the panelists in the video lol? (He was the man with the Glasses in the beginning of the video not towards the end)

Emma

Taeyang and Rhythm Gangsta's performance of ENL is amazing....and yet they only came in 2nd place in the competition! They only had about 1 hour to rehearse for the perf.
