I had a lot of issues with the first media player so I hope that I didn't forget to edit out any shots of me absolutely losing my head 🤣😅

- actually DG it's pretty easy to explain I've said it many times. People like it when idols have swag and self-confidence. But they hate arrogant people. It's not surprising that Sujung or Jungeun dropped in the rankings, it's a lesson given by the coaches but also by the public. Obviously people don't like Jungeun going over Saebi when she was the leader and they don't like the drama with Jiyoon. Same for Sujung they don't like the "it doesn't matter even if I have part 5 I could shine I have it in my blood". For Juwon I'm very surprised she has a beautiful personality and is very expressive on stage. I don't understand her ranking - and on the contrary they like people who start from the bottom and who surpass themselves at work they see it with KOKO or even with Mai even if she is not very high she rises little by little. - This was already the case in other survival shows, with Sohye in Produce 101 and Hyewon in Produce 48. People like outsiders, it makes them feel like their hard work pays off. - We know this kind of show relies more on popularity than talent. Island tries to ensure that the worst performers are eliminated during the first part of the show. But after that, it's the audience who decides. At this point, we know all the girls are talented; they obviously need to improve in certain areas, but it's enough to make their debut. The rest is really a matter of personality. If Sujung and Jungeun can convince people, they'll make it through, otherwise they'll have missed an opportunity. - I completely agree with you, DG. Everyone has their favorites, and even MNET has the right to have favorites; this has always been the case. But there's a difference between highlighting KOKO and completely ignoring Yuju. I am especially disappointed with the coaches who did not have a single word for her during her last performance. The final lineup totally surprised me. I've never been so wrong in a survival show. I usually guess pretty quickly who's going to end up in the final group with a success rate of 80/85%, but this time my success rate was more like 50%. - New Jeans update. So yes, the girls chose NJZ, but the company doesn't accept that. The girls are still at war with their agencies, who don't want to let them go. This raises many legal issues, and I think the girls will have to be patient because this battle could last for months. - Yes, Latata is perfect for Koko's group. Black Mamba or Fearless would have been perfect for this group too. - For Jeemin's group, Into the New World was a very good choice. With Saebi and Fuko in the group, it's a good vibe. Eleven would have been perfect for this group too. - Team Latata: Sujung made the same mistake as Jungeun a few episodes ago. Seeing that Koko was having trouble taking the lead, she took it. But it wasn't malicious; she said it several times. She wanted Koko to give her ideas. The question is how the public will take this information? Will they be angry with Sujung? In any case, the coaches pointed it out to her. -The performances Team Latata Very good performance, everyone shone. Yuju had several good spots, as did Juwon, and of course, the others did an excellent job. But honestly, it's hard to say that Koko was the center of this performance. FINALLY, a compliment for my bias. Yuju, for me, is the best of this performance. - Yes, honestly, they could have made a 12-member group. Big groups are always successful (Seventeen, IZ*ONE, Twice, Girls Generation, I.O.I). -Team into the new world That's how everyone shines. The intro to the performance was perfect and the staging was excellent. Everyone had their moment, but we understand that Jeemin is the center. Honestly, I love it. The song alone is a banger, but with the freshness of the participants, this performance was incredible. So many pretty smiles, flying hair, and facial expressions, this performance put a smile on my face. - The pajama party was cool and necessary to relieve the last bit of tension. Now the group is really united. - The eliminations Honestly, I was worried about Yuju and I'm very happy she made it through, but I'm so sad for Juwon and Sujung. Her overconfidence cost her dearly. I lost two of the girls I saw in the final lineup, at least at the beginning of the show.

Like I already said under the latest Goblin episode, the survival shows are one of my favourite parts about this Patreon and I will miss them. But I absolutely understand you wanting to free up more time. And honestly, we've been going nonstop on survival shows for three years now. I-Land 2 is your 17th survival show. This is probably a good time for a break. As for upcoming big survival shows, season 2 of Boys Planet, titled „Boys II Planet“ will air sometime later this year. They're currently in the application period to find candidates. And this will apparently be two survival shows at the same time, one for Korea and one for China. Same format, simultaneous broadcasts, but different candidates I guess? From what I understand, candidates can choose if they want to go on the Korean show or the Chinese show. And they will debut two separate groups at the same time. - Oh, this one's live, ok. - I unfortunately accidentally spoiled myself, so I already know one of the two people who's leaving in this episode. - It's the typical Mnet favouritism. Just because they can't directly rig the votes anymore, doesn't mean they're not gonna try and manipulate you through other means. - Ok, at least there's a limited list of songs to choose from. But damn, they really have to pull up for this one. And it's all debut songs. I'm sensing a theme here: SNSD – Into The New World miss A – Bad Girl Good Girl Red Velvet – Happiness (G)I-DLE – Latata ITZY – Dalla Dalla aespa – Black Mamba IVE – Eleven Le Sserafim – Fearless NewJeans – Attention - Oh, this reminds me of sports class, choosing teams. Being supremely unathletic, I was always one of the last ones to get picked. Never a fun feeling. - tf is that ultra zoom on Jeemin's face 😂 - How is Koko snatching ALL of Jeemin's picks, this is ridiculous. - Trying to please everybody will end up pleasing nobody. Jeemin is learning that now. - I might have a different opinion than the producers here but I don't think that Koko as a leader has to be the one to come up with all the ideas herself. Sure, she should have more of a say than she did but that can be done by collecting different ideas from her members (mostly Sujung tbh) and kinda managing and adapting them for the team. Koko as a director of sorts, with Sujung as the writer, if you get me. - PHENOMENAL. The vibe, the outfits, the stage design, the PERFORMANCE. I love the little ways in which they changed it up from the original. Yuju is a goddamn star. But everyone shined equally! - Why is Hanbin so desperately urging the people to vote immediately before they've even had a chance to see both performances? I really don't like that. Stop it. - Into The New World was gorgeous. I love what they did with the intro, giving everyone a chance to show off pure vocals before they break out into the full performance. - I know that's not what this round is really about, but between the two, I probably prefer Latata a bit more. - Like I said, I spoiled myself on one of the eliminations, and that was Sujung. Watching her video letter to Yuju was extra bittersweet with that knowledge already in the back of my mind. - Everyone who made it to the finale deserves it but still, with Juwon and Sujung eliminated, this episode doesn't feel like a victory... - But at least we will hear from Juwon soon. She's part of that upcoming girl group from H1GHR Music, together with Kim Chaeeun, Yui, and Um Jiwon, who were eliminated in part 1. No name or debut date has yet been announced for that group but I or someone else here will surely keep you updated. - As for Sujung, I don't know how accurate that information is but I think I've seen a comment that she doesn't plan on debuting as an idol anymore. Instead she wants to focus on her dance career.

- For future reactions, maybe there's an option to download the episode? That would solve both internet speed (streaming) issues and you can use your preferred player. - Yeah, I hadn't really commented on the previous episode (my comment got too long talking about what to replace the survival show slot with 😋), but I agree with you that the triple 77 was a bit of a shock. You already mentioned that the camera only had eyes for Jeemin. Sure, she did a great job. But from what I could see (which wasn't much), Juwon actually did great as well! And her expressions and energy might have been an even better match with the song. So yeah. I think they did Juwon (and Mai) dirty. - I also agree that Yuju didn't get enough credit. - "The public will choose the top 3 and the rest is decided by the producers" Lol 😂 That's such bs though. I'm quite sure that the public's top 3 would also be in the producers top 10. So basically, the public chooses nothing, but the show will still gladly take their voting money 😂 - Why do they expect people to vote already after just 1 performance? How can you determine who are the best 3 if you haven't seen them all perform yet? 🤨 - Yeah, I'm sad to see Juwon and Sujeong leave. But who would I eliminate? 🤔 It's difficult for sure, but I guess Sarang and Gyuri maybe? Not for lack of talent, but I think they might be a little too cute to fit the (concept of the) others. - Sounds like you already made up your mind about replacing survival shows with a 3rd kdrama 😅 I'll probably won't watch it but it's good that you chose something you like. - Btw, Sleep Token released a new song: Emergence https://youtu.be/JJpFTUP6fIo

Sadly there are no downloadable options for any of the episodes, that's why it's so annoying :(
