Han looked confused when HJ got “Malaysia” from “Han’s hometown” because his hometown where he was born and grew up primarily was the Incheon section of Seoul. Also I.N took a second to get Stray Kids because Felix said “명” (Myeong) which is more commonly used as a counter for number of people, and not really to mean name. He would have expected to hear “이름“ (ee-reum) which is the more common word for “name” so it took him a second to get what Felix meant. A by-product of Felix learning more formal Korean.

I think he was in Malaysia from age 5? until 13 or so? Something like that. But yeah, born in Korea. So kinda funny. :D

He was there from 9 until about 15 when he went back to Korea to take the test to graduate high school and his parents gave him a year to find a company. So for sure not what he would consider home.

And at some point I would love to suggest an older series that I don’t really see suggested much called The 9th! It goes all the way back to just after the survival show and shows them leading up to their debut and a bit afterwards as well! It’s the show they went to the same island they went to in this show for the first time as they mentioned. It’s 5 seasons but episodes are pretty short (no more than 22ish minutes) and the longest season is only 5 episodes! 🩵
