"Let me know what I missed"... So there's a post credit scene on the final episode at 23:10 :) Maybe watch it next week it's only like 30 seconds So there's a fanmade abridged for Solo Leveling and the first episode is called Sister Leveling. It's a 9 minute parody of the show using clips from the actual anime but dubbed over. I think the humor is right up your alley. A lot of people have reacted to it on Youtube. Parts 2 and 3 have to do with season 2 so don't watch those yet. https://youtu.be/mUKnMyW-HLA?si=vsCe5wamF5TX4Q_X Song-Yi definitely gave me Jinwoo vibes. Igris is so cool that it couldn't have ended there. So now he's part of the squad! I don't like mage classes in games except necromancers being able to have a whole army at your disposal is right up my alley. I love strategy games and being able to command armies so I was pleasantly surprised that his class was necromancer. Shadow Monarch is such a cool title. Monarch is a hereditary ruler like a King or Emperor. Still super happy that your reacting to this show. Can't wait for season 2!

-DG I don't understand your reasoning regarding Jinwoo's friend??? You seem to find it sad or a shame that she doesn't follow Jinwoo. But it's logical, you said it yourself. She's traumatized and barely survived a double dungeon even though she has a very low level. Unlike Jinwoo, she didn't have a double awakening. And the Manwha explains very clearly that it is difficult to move up a rank. That even exceptional hunters can possibly only move up one rank. But if she wants to follow Jinwoo in B, A or S rank raids, she would have to be a double awakener. And since this kind of thing doesn't happen very often, there's very little chance that she will be one. Your reasoning is very fair and very mature. Either she gives up or she stays in E or D rank portals. For her safety, that's what's best. The only role she can have in the story now is that of a friend or girlfriend. But Jinwoo doesn't need her on the field anymore. - For a "villain arc" for Jinwoo, I thought about it too at the time. I had the same reflection as you. After killing humans, his morality has probably changed a bit. And so the fact that he has become very powerful could have caused a kind of "god" or vigilante syndrome. But we have seen this kind of character quite often in recent years. So if that's the case, I hope the Manhwa would be more subtle. - In big RPGs, there are often "job-quests" that allow you to specialize in a class. For example, the base class "mage" has several specializations. You can be a summoner, a blood mage, a healer, an elemental mage, etc. Well, Jinwoo has the same kind of quest. - Yes, the fight against Igris is super cool, the character is super stylish, and the animation is top-tier. The power effect of the fights, the debris projections, Jinwoo's rage are all very well felt. Things are going to get serious soon. Jinwoo doesn't yet imagine the extent of his power. - Yes, DG, good analysis. It seems like the "system wants to make him stronger, make him different." He was weak, small, and had a strong sense of morality. The system transforms him into someone strong, tall, and with questionable morals. Moreover, the power given to him by the system looks more like a "villain" power. He has a Necromancer class and can make an army of shadows. - so now Jinwoo and Igris probably have an A level and Igris can evolve too. DG you found Igris cool and well the author of the Manwha also now he is part of Jinwoo's army.

Story will grow deeper and darker as the Season progresses (not Berserk type of darkness but still in the realm of PG kind of dark) - the Studio that handled this adaptation did good and we all hope they would stay for all of the coming Seasons. Definitely Top 3 Anime of this generation.

So I was totally late for the last two reactions for this series and I binged watch it yesterday so i wasn't expecting to get the season finale today!! Not sure if anyone mentioned it, or if the anime mentioned but the manhwa explained that the "titles" that Jinwoo see when he faces a enemy in the system's world is coloured differently, so green means its a easy kill, orange means same or just slightly stronger then Jinwoo while red means stronger then Jinwoo and will face more difficulty when fighting with them. So the giant centipedes names were in orange while Igris the Knight's name was in red because he was really strong. Just a little tidbit for ya if you didn't know! So it's nice to see his progression as certain enemies turn from orange to green, showing how much stronger he gets! I can only say that after he gets this shadow monarch power, the anime just gets better from here so I hope you're excited! Love to see that you're still loving the series so far and I'm definitely looking forward to more. Also, you have so much discipline to not binge watch the whole thing in one seating, I would have ><
