- yes indeed we talked about it in the previous reactions but Jinwoo has clearly entered a gray area. as you said all the humans he killed were bad people. but not all to the point of being killed. Kim chul's was angry with Jin-woo in a legitimate way. Jin-woo hid his real potential from him and he let Kim's group go beyond danger when he could have saved them. in a way for Jin-woo all lives do not have the same value. When Kim came back traumatized and saw Jin-woo's group "camping" he just lost it. But as "Iron" he will become a major asset for Jin-woo. Who has an army that is starting to be decent and 3 very powerful lieutenants Igris, Iron, Tank. Yes he could not extract the shadow of Baruka (the ice elf chief) because he was stronger than him. He was only able to beat him thanks to the cohesion between him, Iron and Igris. - things are moving fast. Jinwoo is halfway to obtaining the elixir that could save his mother. - and his father has just reappeared after several years of absence and obviously he is stronger than an S Rank.

The Japanese interpretation of Jinwoo is a bit nicer than his Manhwa/LN counterpart (he is actually a bit of a douche but an intelligent douche at that) - you can check out some Manhwa stills in YT once you have finished with Season 2 to get a better context of everything~

Don't forget that Solo Leveling is a S.Korean manhwa - so the protag is suppose to be, if not always.... looks like a KPOP Idol 😂😂 You can insert pretty much any pretty boy idol or actor and they can be a doppleganger for Jinwoo 😂/ So yeah! It's ok to crush on Jinwoo my good Sir!

- I think that you having a crush on Jinwoo is completely valid and I can see why hahahaha. - My interpretation (may not be the same as others) is that in other times that he had to kill humans was also when the human themselves wanted to kill Jinwoo and the system sensed their killing instinct and thus instructed Jinwoo to kill the humans before. This time round, I think Jinwoo tried to lower Kim's killing instinct by knocking him out, seemingly trying to "restart" his thinking- than perhaps he may have less of a desire to kill Jinwoo.. But alas Kim was in denial about losing so many of his team members and still continued to choose to either kill Jinwoo or attempt to critically wound him. So may be that's why Jinwoo made the decision to kill him at that point of time? - I agree with how you pointed out that the shadows had some personality, it is shown more in the manhwa! The manhwa depicts how Jinwoo had a really good relationship with his shadow soldiers and it was honestly pretty wholesome to see those details. - Omg that timing when you pointed out he looks like Jinwoo hahahahaha impeccable timing

Oh well. - How dare you not have seen an entire show before watching a music video! - Oh shit. Ok, those red gates are new. And one guy was already eliminated in the first few seconds. This is about to be interesting. - So the A rank is an asshat, got it - And his entire squad is basically dead while Jinwoo has an army of shadow soldiers. - Hunter Kim should be glad to see the other group alive and well and yet here he is mad and fuming. - Like, bro, it was YOUR stupid idea to split up. Killing another human to turn him into a shadow soldier... - My monkey brain is very pleased by this battle - „He can't speak English so we can't understand him“ Well he seems to speak Japanese well enough, just like you two (I get that it's a dubbing thing but I kinda wish they actually had the Americans speaking English, regardless of which dub you chose to watch) - When he talks about an „ultimate catastrophe“ I get the feeling he's talking about Jinwoo. - So his son then, huh.
