I know you don't get Min-Ok, but here's the thing: She is not a bad person. She just had a Baby on the way, 2 stepkids to feed, and didn't think it should be her responsability to take care of an almost adult "stepdaughter" who wasn't even her husbands kid. Yes, it was honestly still selfish, but for the time's period, actually understandable. Despite Ae-Sun having basically robbed her, she seems like someone with a bit more means, and the gesture actually kind of moved her, because love is something she absolutely gets. After all, she did fall for a dude who is basically a leech that won't ever give anything back, aside from companionship and affection. I guess this show does a great job at showing how in life, people aren't exclusively Inherently bad or good, but everyone has their quirks and show both selfishness and selflessness.

Yeah, the pin was basically a present that Gwan Sik gave her when they were kids, after her mom died in episode 1, and they were working on the cabbage field. The scene where he is running towards them, Puts the fish down on the stone wall and this pin right beside it, before running to Ae-sun to help her out.

About karate master and pro wrestler scene -It's more like a metaphor, it meant more like if the situation occurs they can become whatever they need to be in the moment for each other, in this case they needed defend themselves so they had to do something, so they embraced their ,,inner" karate master and pro wrestler; they are fierce and protective by default, but they go out of their ways when something happens and can become superheroes if needed.

I really like the twist with Minok's character aswell! The way her perception of Aesun totally changed by 180 degrees after she stole from her and ran away with her lover lol These early episodes are so fun and light hearted in a way, i always love rewatching them. They perfectly portray how youth can feel like, even though this is set in a totally different time period.

I feel like you should have taken a couple of days off. You could have still been productive off camera. I know exactly how you feel though, I’ve been sick since Saturday, went to urgent care today to find out I have pneumonia. I’ve been laying in bed all day everyday and it feels terrible. I’m glad I’m able to watch your reactions though, but it would be absolutely ok to take days off.

- The most aggressive confession of love 😂 - Why is Min-ok even in a relationship with Byeong-cheol and also lives with him if they don't even seem to like each other? Plus her total resentment of Ae-sun. Like, there's no way she wouldn't have known that she's there before entering that relationship with Byeong-cheol. - Gwang-sik feels too relatable here. I'm TERRIBLE at comforting people. If someone cries their soul out in front of me, I also just stand there, not knowing how to react in an appropriate manner 🧍🏼‍♂️ - Same, Min-ok confuses me. - A crook in Vincenzo and a crook in this show too. That actor seems to have a type. - Wild seeing a German fairytale, a staple of my early childhood, referenced here in this Korean show. - YES FUCK THEM UP
