Rewatching this with you, reflecting on all of this, just hits differently. It's pretty crazy just how easily South Korea blacklists idols for life, ruining their whole career, with just one indiscreet mistake. T.O.P used to LOVE being an Idol, or more specifically, he loved his "little brothers"so much before all of this sh*t went down. They were his everything. It's the same with Seungri, honestly. He used to be such a breath of fresh air, and such a joy to follow. But what he did was 100 times worse than T.O.P, who was struggling with his anxiety and depression on top of the major pressure of being one of THE kings of Kpop at the time, and he's now shunned for life? Meanwhile I still see videos of Seungri partying his ass off in different countries show up here and there. It's not fair, at all, and it makes me mourn these bright young kids they once used to be. Being idols were both their biggest flourishes, and hardest downfalls. I hope that, at some point in time, South Korea can be more forgiving for these kinds of things. At least to those who deserves it, like T.O.P. 😓 Life's been quite rough lately, but it's always a bit of a soothing balm to my soul to come back and watch your videos from time to time. You were THE first reactor I ever checked out, after all. You have introduced me to so many amazing groups throughout the almost year or so I've been following you. Thank you Daniel, as always, for sharing these kinds of things and your thoughts with us.

With Big Bang, watching the beginning, seeing everything that has happened, and seeing how they have stayed true to who they are from the beginning, even now, as famous as they are, says a lot about Big Bang. Big Bang is the biggest example that witch hunts in K-pop are so real. Its not even funny how much Big Bang has gone thru. Big Bang is the most targeted because they don't follow the typical rules of an idol. As you've seen how the media tends to have a lot of control over idols back then and now, but BB never fell in line and I think thats why they are even more targeted.
