- "Soshi? Isn't that the name of a variety show? I think that was mentioned a handful of times". YES! Soshi Tamtam. It was a series for SNSD leading up to their 15th anniversary iirc. I'm probably a big contributor to that "handful of times" 😅 Well, at least you're remembering it 😋. By the way, "Soshi" is short for "So-nyeo Si-dae" (SNSD), which is Korean for Girls' Generation. - A spotlight return? Nice. There's so much older stuff. Maybe call it "re-spotlight" or "second spotlight"? - When 5 of the RM members were lined up to look for the vinyl, imagine an SNSD member eliminating them all in 1 go 😅 - Yeah, I know about the Coke helping with stomach aches. - "who eats hamburgers late at night?". Ehm... a LOT of people 😅 - Oh, 2PM! Something to look forward to then I guess.

Well, even though I’m fine with you doing a random episode first, it’s still my pleasure that you watched and enjoyed this episode (well, you can judge by my profile pic hahaha). As crispy chicken mentioned, “Soshi” is an abbreviation for So Nyeo Shi Dae (SNSD) which is a Korean meaning for Girls Generation. And Soshi Tamtam is their latest variety show from their 15th anniversary in 2022 (which is 3 years ago already? How time flies so fast). There is also Channel Soshi which is a show for their 8th anniversary (Party, Lion heart era). What I really love about SNSD in variety show, you can’t see much of these ruthless, aggressive and powerful energy from recent girl groups nowadays. The one that comes really close recently is probably TripleS (which is one of groups I follow closely lately), if you’re interested DG you can check out the “Badge war” series which is so competitive and fun that you won’t feel like 24 members are too many at all.

- It's my dream, DG, to see you do more spotlight series episodes, or return of the spotlight series. There are so many groups that you don't know at all and to which you've never reacted. It would be cool to see this series become more regular. - LOL I miss the VHS era too. It's funny to see Jae-seok embarrassed to ask for "basic instinct" as if it were a porn movie when it's just a thriller. But it's a very good thriller. And yes, DG, the film has a Korean dub. And there was the censored and uncensored version. It depends on the media. - Yoona She's probably the most popular SNSD member with Taeyeon. The first reason is that she was the original center of the group. And also considered a model of beauty. But her popularity has grown enormously thanks to her acting career. To date, she has starred in 16 dramas and 5 films. She is among the best idol/actress with IU and Bae Suzy. - Sunny She is the most playful and funniest member of SNSD. It's no surprise to see her in Running Man. She has appeared in an incredible number of TV shows. Even if she has been largely caught up and surpassed by Hyo. - Yes, LOL, who would have thought that their worst nightmare would be SNSD. - T-ara is another very big 2nd generation girl group and SNSD's rival group. A spotlight episode on T'ara would also be necessary to get to know them. - Running Man has toured a lot in my neighborhood, I've often said it, but Namdaemun Market is just a stone's throw from my house in the Myeondong district. - It seems unreal to see stars of Yoona's caliber eating on a lawn chair, under a tent in a small neighborhood restaurant. - Jae-seok is really natural, I met him once, and he seems very close to people. He easily embraces his fans. Despite his fame, he doesn't seem to look down on people. - They can shoot over two days fairly regularly, with breaks for sleeping. But they've already shot 16 hours without a break, especially for double episodes or episodes abroad. They've shot very large episodes in China, Thailand, or Hong Kong, for example.

Don't rush yourself with Girls' Generation reactions (even though I would love to see more) since realistically they don't comeback with new stuff until 2027 (aka their 20th anniversary). But if you need any help or recommendations feel free to reach out since they're my all time favourite group (along with BP & Red Velvet).
