When you’re talking about the girl you said reminds you of another it’s the girl from the jack of hearts game in season 2!!!! Hahahaa I had the exact same thought.

Yay early upload 🥳 I've only watched the first half of the season so far, but I really like it. But I have to say that the behavior of the people in the first game really upset me lol. Why do you answer without thinking or asking the others when there's still time left? And why do you take one answer when the majority clearly thinks another is the right one? I mean, I understand that it's hard to think in this situation, but still😅😵‍💫 I really like the second game though haha☺️

I get what you mean with the Matrix vibes!

Maybe based on previous games and their experiences, the people constantly thought that they were given the wrong answer to purposely kill them (manipulation is a big theme in these games) so maybe that paranoia, combined with insane conditions, made them answer this way idk lol Have you seen these street interviews online when they ask the most fool-proof questions but yet so many people get tricked and give off WILD answers? 🤣

- I was happy but confused at the end of season 2, the meteor falling on Shibuya, I didn't expect it. But that didn't explain the "borderland" and the principle of the games. Now we have our answer. - Borderland is actually what we call limbo, a world where life and death can be accessed a priori if we are in a kind of coma. The meteorite was only the pretext to send a large number of people there at the same time. The concept of the games remains to be explained. Why are there games and for what purpose??? What is this condition of "citizen"? - I don't understand USAGI's state of mind at all. She's sad about her father's death. Okay, we can understand that, but it's the state of mind she had even before all this happened. What she went through in the previous two seasons doesn't change her at all, nor traumatize her. The only thing that traumatizes her is the death of her father. I find that very strange and a little ridiculous. After what she's been through and her marriage to Arisu, she should have moved on. - Even stranger is that there's a character who seems to be able to move freely between real life and the Borderland, which creates a kind of precedent. The series would be very coherent without that. It just seems like what happens in the Borderland is some kind of test that we go through between life and death, and that every person in a coma will face it. sooner or later. but this character breaks this rule. - wow the first game was crazy 100 million arrows ignite what kind of damage can that do to a Tokyo neighborhood???, in real life probably destroy all the vehicles, small houses, temples, break thousands of windows, kill all the people outside, destroy electrical panels, create huge fires

Finally going to be getting into your reaction for the new season. I haven’t even watched the new season yet even on my own. Been super busy and had a lot going on. Glad I can finally relax and watch your reaction. Gotta catch up on all of your other shows too. I left off on ep7 of When life gives you tangerines. And I just saw you were almost done. Time to catch up 🫡

- Uhh, I did not expect to hear my language in the first 5 seconds there 😅 (but, you know, speaking of German, there's this neat little German show called Dark that you should check out (yes, I am taking every fucking excuse I can get to promote it 😎)) - First question: how would outsiders know about the Borderland when not even the people who were in it can remember it? - Ok, seems like some survivors remember a few things. - Oh shit, they actually got married? Hell yeah! - So we have a cult that voluntarily goes into the Borderland via hypnosis. And I assume the same rules apply. Die in the games, you stay dead. - Well, this is going a bit different than I expected... - That's not near-death, that's just death. - And now he's just in the Borderland? How does that work exactly? Did he get a not-quite-lethal shock? - Cool to see Ann again too. But she remembers enough about the Borderland to at least know that they had to fight for their survival there. And she wants to go BACK? Does she have a death wish? - Uhh, if they harm Usagi in any way, I will throw shit. - Eh, irl police are exactly like that, that part is unfortunately quite realistic. - Did Matsuyama offer Usagi a chance to see her father by going into the Borderland? That seems kinda plausible here. - Did that sign just tell Arisu to get to a location FIFTEEN KILOMETERS AWAY by sundown? In the Borderland? Where cars and trains don't work? Are they insane? - Math problems. Yup, I'm dead at the first game already. - Oh, it's just general riddles 'n shit. Great. - Yeah, what a „wonderful“ world this is. Why exactly do those sick freaks want to return here? - Ok but why do they all keep gathering around that central plaza every time someone makes a draw? Wouldn't it make more sense to find a good hiding spot BEFORE the arrows inevitably start raining down? - A HUNDRED. MILLION. ARROWS. WHAT THE FUCK. - I mean, the visual is pretty cool ngl. - Season 1 mostly had games pitting players against each other. Season 2 was the players vs citizens. And from this first game it seems like season 3 might be focused on team efforts of the players together vs the games themselves. - That one guy is definitely a Yakuza member. - Well, I guess my assumption of players vs the game itself was wrong, we still got players vs players - The card game is a bit confusing tbh - Rei. Honestly, she also kinda looks like IVE Rei a bit, if she were to dye her hair blue. - Yeah, I'm not in the least bit surprised that this is turning south. Anything that relies on the trust and cooperation of EVERYONE is doomed to fail.
