It was the artist.. yep, they mentioned in epi 11 that he went to the military, around the same time Eun-myong went.. 😊

Her uncle was definitly not perfect.. but he must have always felt like he was in his older brothers (Ae-Sun's dad) shadow, and more so after he died. He tried to prove himself over and over, even with his son that was basically as talentless as his father, as Ae-Sun was smart as her father. I can only imagine the frustration Ae-Sun's dad must have carried with him his entire life. Honestly, even Eun-Miyong (Ae-Sun's son) could have become just as bitter and emotional, taking into account that he was always in his sisters shadow and felt left out by his parents.. so it would be so easy for him to become like the uncle. I think this show does a great job at showing the human side of people.. the good thing and the bad.. No one is perfect.. people can be hurtful.. but emotions and relationships are such complex things, not just black and white, good and bad. This show became definitely my favorite Kdrama.. 😭💚

In Korea they give unborn babies funny nicknames (usually related to how they were conceived, remember the story of how Aesun & Gwangshik named Geummyeong after a Soju brand from Busan before she was born lol) hence why they called the baby Strikey

- The relationship between young Ae-sun and child Geum-myeong is so adorable. - Gwan-sik is goddamn amazing and now I miss my dad... - Even when Shit-gil tries to connect with his daughter, he is incapable of being anything but a complete asshole. How does he even look in the mirror? - This episode hits me so hard. All the parental relationships, and all ones that I've seen first and second hand. It's just so real.
