Not me tearing up again at the end of this finale, it's just so good! A great way to end S1 and prepare for the hype of S2, having main characters die and then come back alive is crazy! I love how both Buyeon and Jang Uk are both alive because of the ice stone. Can't wait for S2 reactions~

Finally caught up in time for season 2! I still hate Soi for putting the parasite into yul. I know she thinks she was saving him but she was told the side effects and that she would have to receive meds from the bad guys forever. The head of the Jin family is practically female Denathor. Mudeok has the mole, the scar, the ears, opened the door twice, from Sari village by the lake where Buyeon went missing, and even called her mom. I think Soi was right. She new that Soi was a fake from day 1 but let herself believe it in order to get the ice stone. Park Jin and Kim Doju's romance was the most entertaining. I'm glad we got some fun moments before everything went sideways. The Crown prince is still my favorite character. In his defense forcing him to lie and take credit for something he didn't do while Jang Uk get's to go off and live happily ever after and not bear any of the responsibility of his actions is not cool. The Crown Prince knew himself well and knew that it would eventually get to him and warned them to go far away but they wanted to stay for the wedding. I don't think the Crown Prince had any idea that him letting his mentor off the hook would result in the death of Jang Uk. I want to give a shout out to the side characters. The Vice Captain even got a name(Sang Ho) and some lines. At the start of the show I just expected him to be a nobody there to take orders from Park Jin but he had a few moments in the show. Also the Crown Prince's chief Eunuch was always a fun time. At the end when Mudeok was quitting Songrim it didn't make sense for her to give her resignation to a palace eunuch and not the head of staff of songrim but I'm glad they did anyway so they could say goodbye. Looking forward to the next season and I will do my best to not spoil anything. Thank you for the reactions!
