At that time, this episode was a shock to many people. Gege Akutami dared to kill many characters, but no one expected the death of a character like Kugisaki. In the manga, Kugisaki and Megumi are Itadori's close friends. It's like Sakura for Naruto, Rukia for Ichigo, or Bulma for Goku. No power of friendship, no Senzu Beans, no Dragon Balls for resurrection. In Jujutsu Kaisen, just the harsh reality. So there was a big debate about Kugisaki at that time due to the phrase "she's no longer breathing, but her chances of survival aren't zero." The thing is, the only person who could have saved her was Gojo and his Reverse Curse technique, and he's sealed away. Moreover, we don't know if he can apply this technique to others or only to himself, so we shouldn't get our hopes up too much about seeing Kugisaki again. It was more of a way to remotivate Itadori, which was a good thing at that moment; Itadori couldn't give up. - I'll say it again: for me, it's as shocking as the time skip in Berserk. Guts witnesses the death of the entire Black Hawk Group and sees the man he respected most rape Casca. - All the fights in this anime are super cool, but this one is truly incredible. This arc is definitely the best.

FINALLY all caught up on your reactions. Damn. - You step through the veil and suddenly see the devastation that Sukuna has brought. What goes through your mind in a moment like that? - STOP KILLING OFF MY FAVOURITE CHARACTERS - Yeah sure, hurt us even more by giving us the backstory. - Absolute despair, but finally a glimmer of light: TODO! I'm so happy to see him. - Okay? The chances that Kugisaki survives aren't zero? Probably still extremely low but I'll take it! - As much as I hate Mahito, that fucker does ensure one hell of an engaging fight. - Ew? It's like Deadpool regrowing, but grosser. - Glass cannons, eh? - Fuck. The way Todo did not hesitate for an INSTANT to cut his hand off - Oh my god. The two people he idolises the most. Tadaka-chan and Itadori Yuji. They're equal to him 😭 - Somehow the true form of Mahito looks less disgusting than his „human“-ish form. - Oh man, it feels so good to see Mahito scared. Finally. I don't think there's anything to watch ahead of season 3. As far as I understand, the movie that's in theatres now is just a recap/compilation of seasons 2 and 3. So it would literally just spoil season 3 if you were to watch it. I don't think there's any need to go and see it.
