Please Note: First of all, I'll be doing a big MAMA Reaction, probably next Saturday!

As far as the KGMA Reaction goes - There's some info in the intro as to why I did or didn't react to some groups, but sadly, one of the groups I planned on checking out (KOL) had their stage blocked and I found no alternatives while searching YT, only a few fancams, and you know how I feel about those...

Anyway, when I finally react to groups like Cortis, Kicklip, Nexz, Ahof and others, feel free to dm me and remind me of their live stages such as MAMA/MMA/KGMA, and we'll do a catch-up reaction.

Vocal kings and Paniel 😆 😆 😆 love them. There are bts from the Show where you see reaction of the ideols and you see BTOB and STRAY KIDS interact shot (when skz got one of the awards) and also SKZ interact with there Juniors. Realy sweet I think the world Tour gave I.N. a push in confidence. Lee Know also smiles more often i think. He looks more comfortable i think. I like it hihi

Irene really delivered on that opening stage, good to see her as a soloist, but I wish we see Red Velvet perform someday again at big award shows. I loved kiiikiii's performance so much, this new instrumental suited their vibe so much and felt really fresh. With I Do Me, Dancing Alone & Strawberry Cheesecake alone they are my favourite rookies of this year. Imo MEOVV always bring the most energy on stage out of everyone, that's why they are my favourite performers of the new gen along with Baemon. Drowning will always hit you, no matter how long or short it plays lol yes, seems like ADP, especially Tarzzan, had some audio issues but they still nailed their stage Dayoung's solo debut is my favourite kpop story of this year, she kinda just went to the US on her own booked a studio and recorded this on her own without Starship being involved. The release had very little to no promo at all, except for a gazillion challenges that she created on her own asking basically anyone in the industry. That's how it went viral. The MV is really good too, so hope you'll still check it out & also her other song number one rockstar too, there is an MV too. Both songs are amazing! agree on fromis having one of the best performances, first Like You Better just is THAT SONG and they have insane aura and vocals, I saw them live at Waterbomb this year and kinda became a fan through that stage, they are soo good. Yes, Gotcha never fails to hype me up as well, that dance break portion with Yujin putting on the gloves was...dangerous lol

Such a great compilation thank you! I love the Xdinary Heros stage soooo much ...wish I could have seen them open for MUSE all those lucky ducks in Korea. Totally get what you mean about he AC/DC vocals lol. Our Kings of Kings Stray Kids finishing up the show is perfect ... I wasn't impressed by the camera work for most of the perfromances especially when they switch to stadium wide shots during a dance break or chorus ... but the drone movement for the beginning of 'Ceremony' was great. ... Like others have said the interactions between the groups sitting down watching was really cool ... there are great shots of SKZ dancing like crazy for both the AHOF and Kick Flip covers ... and kept standing for their juniors performances ... also a really lovely interaction with these same groups during the finale photoshoot .. when Bang Chan interviened as the KGMA staff tried to move AHOF ... making sure he could sit with his Aussie mate Steven from AHOF right at the front (and shield the rookie group UNIS's legs lol).

TLDR Great performances, camerawork was pretty good, lighting effects were great! I watched MAMA day 1 this morning so couldn't help but compare a bit. And even though I knew the fire disaster in Hongkong would affect the Red Carpet (was canceled), the speeches, and the overall cheeryness (when receiving awards), but I'm afraid the performances (and clothing) might also have been affected a bit. They're still good, but I enjoyed KGMA a bit more so far (which is understandable I think, considering the circumstances) Kiiikiii - yeah, I liked that musical bridge too. Xdinary Heroes - that intro slapped! Cravity - totally agree with them being (very) underrated. Meovv - they really brought the energy! Loved the little shoutouts in between. Woodz - what an intro, and loved the couples. Very original. All Day Project - a shame that their individual intros were so poorly lit - Trinity? I can see it 😎 Bailey really was out for blood 🥵 The little smiles reminded me of Ryujin, and now I want Bailey to also do a Studio Choom (artist of the month) performance 😬 BOYNEXTDOOR - loved all of it 😊 Natty - Totally different from Yuna's (ITZY) iconic cover. Natty is just always sexy. P1Harmony - I really appreciated the retro hiphop vibes. Dayoung - She really reminds me of a younger Hyolyn 😄. If you're planning to check one or performances out later, I think she had 1 stage where Exy and Bona joined her on stage and Exy even did the rap. fromis_9 - proving (once again) they should've been on more shows and deserved more wins 🥹 - "One of the best performances", and that's with just 5 and no dancers... Well done fromis 👍 Suho - I just love it when performing artists involve the other spectating artists IVE - how can Yujin even make putting on gloves look amazing and sexy? 😵‍💫 Stray Kids - Great performances. I just wonder if it would've been even better to switch the order of the last 2 songs 🤔

I had actually started watching these performances myself today, in between watching MAMA live. But I only got about halfway through day 1, so I might as well start over and just watch this thing with you :D IRENE - Starting the show off right with my favourite song from her debut album! - They added a few orchestral-ish elements to the instrumental. And it works really well imo - Gorgeous woman, great song, amazing performance, a perfect opener. Nice to see Red Velvet on an award show stage in 2025, at least in SOME capacity. KiiiKiii - I'm willing to forgive a few hiccups in the camera work beause this is still a very new award show. 2024 was the first one. They don't have the level of experience that some others already have. - The dance break is giving me strong fairy tale vibes. - Jiyu Battle Angel? xikers - CRANK UP THE JUICE BRING THE ENERGY LIGHT UP THE PLACE 👹👹👹 - This is honestly probably THE BEST outro of the year. And the best song xikers have released so far. Holy shit dude. Xdinary Heroes - DG malfunctions at XDH guitar solo intro, you love to see it 😄 - I think Jooyeon might just be one of my top favourite bassists in ANY rock/metal band I know, regardless of where they're from. - No I think that intro was new for the award show. CRAVITY - Yes, Swish is a b-side to Set Net G0 and Lemonade Fever. There's no MV, you haven't missed anything. But I can highly recommend checking out their Dare to Crave album. Especially the song Underdog. That is easily the best thing they've ever released! And you would probably love it to, as a fan of rock. - „I'm shocked this part is not going viral“ - I'm shocked that Cravity in general is not going viral! We need to spread the word! MEOVV - Ah, here's my most recent unhealthy obsession. - They have a grand total of 8 songs in their entire discography so far and I'm already willing to call them one of kpop's all-time greatest girl groups. So, I had watched up until Lee Chanwon before you uploaded this, so everything from this point on, I'm seeing for the first time together with you. WOODZ - I've heard this song so many times and he STILL catches me off guard with that live voice - The mark of a truly great vocalist: when he can fill out an entire stage all by himself. No choreo, just his voice. I saw that yesterday at Onew's concert and I'm seeing it here with Woodz. - Just as I write that, he gets extra people on stage 😅 But you know what I mean. ALLDAY PROJECT - Yeah, this one was never officially uploaded by KGMA for some reason. So I had to find a reupload, that's why the quality is bad. - Yeah ok, Bailey is my favourite. She was the standout in One More Time and seeing this performance just solidifies that. God damn, what a woman, what a performer. BOYNEXTDOOR - I Feel Good when I hear this song 😎 - The sheer fucking charisma of these guys. THE BOYZ - To be honest, I didn't like Stylish in the music video but this performance is good. - That dance break tho ATEEZ - THE BLAST FROM THE PAST, HALA HALA MY BELOVED - This is fucking insanity. - Reminds me a bit of what i-dle did at MMA last year, or SHINee the year before that, with the highlight medley of all their most iconic hits. - The way In Your Fantasy controls my entire body and soul. Obsessed is not a strong enough word to describe how I feel about this song. - DEMON SEONGHWA 👹 - Wooyoung is wearing makeup but he has also lost a decent bit of weight recently and some fans are quite concerned about him. - Words cannot describe the love I have for Ateez. I need those EU tour dates NOW. Natty - Opening day 2 with a cover of 10 Minutes by Lee Hyori. - The Flip! P1Harmony - Jongseob is just the coolest mf around - I don't ever use that word but theit swag is absolutely overflowing. - No, I think this is the first time you've ever seen anything from them outside their music videos. LUCY - Their music is always so healing to me. And I can barely express how much I love Sangyeop's voice. Hearts2Hearts - I cannot focus on anything but this song. - Yea sure let's do an ULTRA WIDE shot from as far away as possible during the dance break. Great idea, you idiots. DAYOUNG - I mean, the MV is not going anywhere, you can still go and react to it 👀 - The way this came to be is crazy. Since Starship is dead set on keeping WJSN in the dungeon and not doing anything with them, Dayoung literally had to trick her company into letting her release this single. So she basically lied to them, telling them that she would take a 2 month hiatus (hiatus from what exactly? It's not like they were even doing anything but whatever lol), and in that time she went to America to produce and record this solo debut in secret. So when she came back with the finished songs, Starship basically had no choice but to actually let her release it. - And she's been busy in the gym, as she is very eager to show off. She's been living exclusively in crop tops since body released 🫠 Cover Stages - There's actually two more covers that aren't on Youtube. Starship's new boy group IDID covered Full of Happiness by H.O.T. That one was never even uploaded in the first place. And then there's Close Your Eyes covering Boy in Luv by BTS. That one was actually uploaded but quickly privated within the same hour. God knows why. - Speaking of Close Your Eyes, among the performances you skipped today, CYE was the absolute standout to me. If you ever get around to reacting to this group, I will be sure to remind you of this performance because it was pure insanity. One of the songs was produced by Kazakh DJ Imanbek and the guy actually showed up in person to DJ their performance. Absolute craziness. - AHOF is so great. You should be familiar with one of the members actually. Cha Woongki, former member of TO1 and one of the standout candidates on the first season of Boys Planet. - Funny that they're doing such a hard song though. Their own songs have been more soft and dreamy so far. - I think you'd enjoy KickFlip too. They have an upbeat pop rock sound to them. Huh? So it wasn't even KGMA privating the KIOF video, it was an actual copyright strike? On an official upload??? What the fuck? 🤨 fromis_9 - Hayoung back at it with the dolphin noises - Oh my god. - That was genuinely one of the best performances across both days. - I'm so happy that they're continuing, even after leaving their old company and losing almost half their members. SUHO - Emerging in a cowboy hat, with a guitar, alright then 🤠 - Rock Suho is my favourite Suho. Light the Fire is the best song from his latest album, easily. BTOB - LEGENDS. - „That's the sexiest idol alive“ YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT. No one else like Eunkwang! - I was lucky to see BTOB live two and a half years ago, OT6. And yes, I cried. I'll Be Your Man completely destroyed me. I had genuinely never felt such intense emotion at a live music performance before. And about an hour later Taeyeon stood on that same stage and wrecked me three more times 🫠 - I can only encourage you to get into their solo works. Not just Minhyuk, all 7 members are doing genuinely amazing stuff. If you need a pointer, here's one song from each that I'd recommend: Lim Hyunsik – La Mar Yook Sungjae – Be Somebody Peniel – MIoBI (Make It or Break It) Ilhoon – Michaelangelo Lee Changsub – Vroom Vroom Seo Eunkwang – Last Light IVE - Rei is so cute with these twin tails 🥺 - Ah, is this first encounter with Gotcha? Yeah, that song is insane. Caught me completely off guard when I listened to the album - JESUS CHRIST GAEUL. - ok yea it hits even harder with the live performance - Come on Starship, don't be shy, drop them EU tour dates. Stray Kids - Yes, seeing this song live was as crazy as you think. - Ehh, maybe learn how to growl without hurting your throat first before thinking about joining a metalcore band 😂 - Yeah, I am messed up in my head. AND WHOSE FAULT IS THAT, CHRISTOPHER BAHNG?? - MAXIMUM POWER 💪🏻💪🏻 - Ceremony is MADE for the live stage. Yet more proof of that seen here.

Omg I’ve been emotional all morning because SKZ WON A DAESANG FOR ALBUM OF THE YEAR AT MAMA!!!!! I came to watch this to calm down after their performance and acceptance speech, didn’t really help but I’m not as emotional anymore after I.Ns hip thrust and just THEM! Maybe emotional in a different way 🤣 But I love them so much and I’m so proud of them!! I love this performance so much!!!!! So many of my favorite songs in one and they did look they had so much fun which is all I ever want from them!! Can’t wait for the MAMA reaction their performances are crazy insane as always, but ESPECIALLY at MAMA!! 🩵

- First, congratulations to all the winners, and especially to my favorites, Ive, who are going home with several awards again. - I really enjoyed this show; several performances were super cool. Of course, The Boyz, Ateez, and SKZ are always at the top of their game, and I don't know any other group that has as much intensity in their performances. There's BTS from their heyday, of course, or older groups, but for this generation, they are the masters of performance. - I was happy to see Meow and Allday Project at their first major awards ceremony; they were very cool. - My three favorite performances are: 1. Fromis 9 I'm happy to see them at an awards ceremony; unfortunately, it's not that common. "I Like You Better" is my favorite song of summer 2025 and one of my top five favorite girl group songs this year. Few people give enough credit to Jiwon and Hayoung's incredible voices. 2 BTOB They are truly gods; I will never tire of their vocal performances. And I love my guy "Silver Light" Eunkwang. The harmonies and chemistry of this group are simply angelic. 3 IVE Unsurprisingly, they are one of my favorite girl groups, and they are extremely consistent in the quality of their songs and performances. IVE, just like AESPA, will sweep most of the awards in the girl division this year. These two groups are consistently talented and are the present and future of the girl division. DG, listen to IVE's albums; many of their B-sides are as good as, or even better than, their title tracks. Gotcha is very nice.
