They really got devils for just about everything, huh? - Power, I'm watching you. Do not the cat. - Okay, we're good. - Oh my god, this guy really just thinks with his dick, doesn't he? - FOCUS, DUDE. - Damn it, it was a trap. - But that Bat Devil looks pretty gnarly. - And he's proper disgusting! Denji, imma need you to chainsaw up and deal with this. - YES. - I feel like I'm gonna say this several more times but the 3D animation on Denji when he becomes Chainsaw Man is seriously impressive. I don't think I've ever seen an anime where the 3D bits look THIS good. So I love the animation, concept is pretty wild, I just don't know if I'm gonna vibe with Denji as a character. He's just way too horny for my personal taste. But let's see.

After seeing reviews for the movie I've been interested in checking this show out but hadn't gotten around to it yet. It's exactly what I was expecting :) Did the council say Soviets? I guess this isn't set in the current time. I guess people still using payphones is also a clue. So far I like Hayakawa and Power. Hayakawa is severely underestimating Denji's desire for boobs. I'm getting the feeling he might want them just as much as Hayakawa wants revenge for his dead family. I have concerns about Makima. The say yes or woof thing was real freaky. I don't blame power for trying to trade Denji for her cat. I imagine if she knew more about him she would have fight the bat devil together instead of betraying him. Obviously the bat devil was lying about giving her back the cat.

For me this is probably the 15th time watching this show and I can't wait to see what you think about it :D It was announced today that the CSM movie will be available on streaming platforms starting next tuesday, very excited to see your reaction to that as well after you're done with season 1!!
