I was waiting to see your reaction to SKZ's stage and Chan's "surprise," and at that very moment you uploaded the video, it was wonderful. Thank u ❤

Star Dust

You know they probably added the collapse at the end because it was honestly how they felt after that dance! haha

Star Dust

Stray Kids were all up in the cluuuub watching Jennie. It's pretty fun to watch if you can find a video of it!

- Yeah, same here, I don't understand why they keep producing temporary groups with their survival shows. Boys Next Door have a super short contract, as short as I.O.I's was back then. It's stupid to disband such popular groups after a few months or a year, groups that have achieved immense success and are at their peak. I.O.I, Wanna One, X1, IZ*ONE, Boys Next Door. That's why I don't invest in these groups anymore; I get too sad and angry when their contracts end. - The arrangement for Kiiikiii's song was incredible. I also think it's one of their best performances. - Jongho I agree, he's one of the best vocalists among male artists right now. He's a monster; he would fit in BTOB without any problem. - LESSERAFIM I'm still not a fan of Spaghetti, but I love H.O.T., it's their hit this year. The performance really starts when Sakura rides her bike. What a funny idea XD HOT's house version was so good! That French house music, baby! HOT also really showcases their incredible voices. - IVE I can't explain all the hearts I had in my eyes. High School Rock Cheerleaders IVE got me completely. Once again, they find new arrangements and concepts for songs we've heard a thousand times. I've loved them for a few performances now. REI and LIZ stand out. It's one of the best performances, but I agree with DG. With a concept like this, it's hard to focus on the cheerleaders, who do a great job, because IVE is the main attraction. The beginning was good because the IVE members interacted with the cheerleaders. It would have been nice if the IVE members could have done one or two easy cheerleading moves with the group. - Queendom NMIXX could be a good choice for a Queendom show. But I think seeing groups like IVE, LESSERAFIM, or AESPA is unlikely. These groups are already very successful and don't need a popularity boost. And Queendom is primarily there to give a group a second chance or boost their popularity. But if we ever saw these groups on a Queendom show, it would be incredible. - Monsta X Incredible as always! They have such energy for a veteran group that you'd think they only debuted last year. DG, now that the year-end awards season is over, I hope you'll have time to react to STARSHIP GAME CATERERS. I know it was on your schedule. - Ateez / SKZ The pattern repeats itself: these two groups always appear one after the other, always at the end of the show. And as always, I can't separate them; they have the same energy, and I love them both equally. - Jennie I'm very happy to see Jennie blossom on stage with YG. Blackpink has performed very little in year-end shows, and seeing Jennie solo at this level is very rewarding, even for me. - My 5 favorite performances are: - 1. Monsta X - 2. SKZ/Ateez - 3. IVE - 4. Jennie - 5. Lesserafim

Boynextdoor did not come from a survival show. They're a regular group with the standard 7 year contract. I.O.I was around for only 9 months, and BND are already over two and a half years old. I'm not sure what you're talking about there.

Finally! An award show reaction that isn't over 3 damn hours long 😂 Also I like your shirt. Sung Hanbin & Zhang Hao are Better - Our boys paying tribute to the legend BoA herself. Fitting that we're watching this just after it was announced that BoA has left SM Entertainment after 25 years. End of an era. And what a legacy. SM would for sure have gone bankrupt in the early 2000's without her. And Kpop would look VERY different today. - Seeing this performance, I also have to think of the cover that Moon Sua and Tsuki of Billlie and Nana of wooah did when they started theirMC gig on MBC Show Champion a few years ago. Great performance, that one! - What you reacted to was the Chinese version that features Xin Liu. But the Korean original is a solo song from BoA alone. CORTIS - They got the little treadmills from the performance video, that's cute. ALLDAY PROJECT - I'm sorry but I CANNOT take Tarzzan serious with that fuckass hairstyle. - Youngseo is so damn good, man. KiiiKiii - KiiiKiii comeback on the 26th! And a pre-release MV for Delulu is already out. Check it out, it's AMAZING! - Finally Groundwork on an award show stage! Even if it was very short. - I Do Me remix going hard (pls put it on streaming (they won't 😭)) izna Be My Baby - Why tf did they put JYP on the screen? The song is by WONDER GIRLS ffs. - This is great and now I miss Wonder Girls even more. Come on, Sunmi, Sunye, Yubin, Sohee, Hyerim, I know y'all are still talking with each other! You can make something happen. Maybe even get Yeeun on board too. It would be a dream. Kim Taerae - One of my friends ults Taerae and she was having a complete emotional breakdown watching this 😂 - The original song (Reflection of You in Your Smile by Shin Seung Hun) is from 1990. - The video cutoffs are way too fast indeed, no idea how they signed off on that. Huh Yunjin - Her song is even older. Like Rain, Like Music by Kim Hyunshik, from 1986. About as old as these awards themselves. They wanted to do something special here for the 40th anniversary, hence all these tributes to older artists. - „YEAH!“ - James of Cortis izna - Mamma Mia continues to deliver with the award show remixes. - Fake It was one of the songs from I-Land 2! Wild that they pulled it out again on an award show in 2026. BOYNEXTDOOR - You yearned for Hollywood Action, I continue to yearn for I Feel Good. - BRASS - They had a full short film ahead of the Hollywood Action MV. Like a really elaborate comeback trailer. I was actually a bit surprised that you didn't react to it because you would LOVE that one. ZEROBASEONE - The final award show of ZB1. Of course they have to pull out all the stops and perform EVERY title track of their career. - They're disbanding BECAUSE they're so successful. Sounds weird, but remember: these idols don't actually belong to WakeOne. They're from various different companies, and those companies can make a lot more money off of them if they don't have to share profits with WakeOne. Specifically Yuehua, the clusterfuck notorious for fumbling Everglow and currently (mis)managing Tempest and Yena. They have four members in ZB1 (Hao, Ricky, Gyuvin and Yujin) and they want them back for their own group to debut after ZB1's disbandment. They also pulled the two members they had in EVNNE out of that group. It's the same story as with IZ*ONE back in the day. Super successful, fans (and members probably) wanted to keep going together but Starship said no because they wanted Yujin and Wonyoung back in order to debut IVE. Kep1er could only keep going because they were just successful enough that they could go on together but not TOO successful to the point where the members' old companies would have developed their own plans for them. Well, except for Mashiro and Yeseo, they were pulled back to their company with the CEO who would later sexually assault another member of the group MADEIN that they were added to... - Yujin is just 18 and about to go through his first disbandment. The oldest member Jiwoong is 27, same as me, and he already had another group before, from 2016 to 2017. KiiiKiii fly through the midnight - Another 80s cover! This time it's Lee Moon Sae's Fly through the midnight from 1987. Jongho - Another one of my friends ults Jongho and she was ALSO having a complete emotional breakdown watching this 😂 - The song is a bit newer. The Days by Kim Kwang Seok, from 1993. LE SSERAFIM - HOT SPAGHETTI 🍝 - I may have said this before but Chaewon is one of those people who knows exactly how hot she is and that's dangerous. - This is the Huh Yunjin ver. of Hot and it's on Spotify! Every member has her own remix of the song and this is Yunjin's. - Yes, the YB collab was two years ago. Still the peak of LSF award show stages, fully agreed. IVE - You heard Heartbeats on AAA but they upped the high school rock sound for this one. - Cheerleader Rei is ADORABLE, oh my god. - I appreciate them getting actual cheerleaders for this stage. Would have been nice if we could actually SEE them doing their cheerleading stunts. This is the one GDA performance where I would say they did the camerawork wrong. MONSTA X - Joohoney Ali in the ring! Love that they're giving him a solo stage here. - Of course the martial arts enthusiast would notice the wrong background 😅 - Monsta X doing HYPE SHIT on the stage and the crowd is dead 💀 - I need to get my ass to a Monsta X concert and get N the Front. Goddamn. - Something really cool happened after this performance. I saw a whole bunch of newer kpop fans on social media (mostly fans of Ateez and Stray Kids) ask about Monsta X because they watched GDA and were blown away by them. And all I can say to them is, welcome to the fandom! It's an amazing time with MX. ENHYPEN - I have a Bad Desire to Daydream Outside. - I'm convinced that Daydream was an experiment to see if you could turn ASMR into a song. And the answer is Yes. ATEEZ - They're probably the only people who could rhyme tennis with tennis and I won't even mind - SAN STOP UNDRESSING RIGHT NOW - Seonghwa put that tongue back where it came from or so help me! - Sorry, no useful thoughts this time, just thirsting for Ateez. One of those days. Stray Kids - Sunglasses for that little extra flair in the Divine outro. - Taipei Dome. Seats over 50k people for a concert. - You'd think that you're safe from thirst traps because Ateez are off stage but then Christopher Chan Bahng takes his shirt off. - In the wise words of ifeye: r u ok? - A huge stadium requires a huge Ceremony. - fuckin hell JENNIE - She knows how to create such an epic atmosphere, holy shit. - As if San and Christopher weren't already enough, now Jennie is also taking her coat off - Ending this show with another crazy remix of like Jennie. Just as God intended. So as it turns out, GDA is not actually the proper end of the awards season. There's still one more to come in February: The D Awards. But if last year's show is anything to go by, it's gonna be a much smaller stage with more minimal production. Probably not something you HAVE to react to. We don't even know the lineup yet. As far as I'm concerned you're done for now. Unless you wanna go back and still do something with KBS (or maybe even go further back to TIMA or The Fact Music Awards). But that's entirely your call. If this is it for you, I'd say this was a worthy end to the awards season :)

I don't really follow the new fifth-generation boy groups and I sometimes get them mixed up. Thanks for correcting me; I was talking about Zero Base One, not Boys Next Door. I often confuse them. Since I struggle a bit with English, I sometimes get confused. Even though I understand Daniel in general, sometimes I misinterpret what he's talking about.

It's an old rap song called "The Whisper Song" by the Ying Yang Twins. The clean version is better if you ever listen to it. They whisper just like ENHYPEN.

I have seen Stray Kids stage several times now and I still ended up spitting coffee all over my laptop when Chan took is shirt off during your reaction ... The remixes they used for this set kill me ... I always enjoy their remixed title tracks but so glad they have performed both the Hip Hip (at MAMA) and now the Karma version of Ceremony... they are both sooooo hype in different ways. Everytime I hear Cortis's 'What you Want' I am reminded of The Rolling Stones 'You can't Alway's get What you Want' ... and the titles and themes are so similar I have always wondered if it was inspired by the Stones or kind of written as a response / youthful homage to that track ... It might just be me, you know once you hear something in a song, it is really hard to unhear it.... I don't follow Cortis that much so I was just wondering if they have ever mentioned it, I mean it is a song many artists have been inspired by in the past, or if I am imagining things (which is aways possible lol). BoyNext Door - are just always so good live! everytime I watch these award shows with you I am impressed by them and keep telling myself to pay more attention to them, cause they always make me smile and groove ... definietly feel that old Hollywood glam .. and the sparkly suits were on point.. everything about that performance was great. ZeroBaseOne - This made me sad, it really felt this was like a farewell stage 😭... I love that they had so many sets for different members and included snippets of soooo many of their songs on their group stage .. but it made me feel like, they were giving it everything cause they might not be together on the award stages like that again, with all the f£%"ery going on with their contract and label (at least for awhile... with their contract suppose to end now in March, and the label releasing vague info about specific members either leaving or planning solo projects) ..... I don't really follow them much, but I watched Boys Planet, and really like the members so I can't help but be very sad if this is the last we see of them as a group ...I hope I am wrong! Jongho KILLED IT!!! (I will forever dream of a Mayfly vocal unit 'MayV' reunion stage). ATEEZ - Always amazing! ... but seriously having Ateez then SKZ back to back is not fair ... my little heart can't handle all the appeal .... it wanted to burst just like San's shirt buttons lol. I always know they will be sexy and full of energy but I still, they looked so good in these suits (everytime they dress like this I am reminded of Kingdom and how they didn't think they could perform in suits, after seeing SF9's intro stage lol). Forget pirates they are seductive gangsters... dead. STRAY KIDS - BOOM!!! My heart exploded ... but it always does the moment SKZ start, my STAY heart is held together but SKZOO plushie stitching at this point... This has to be one of their sexiest stages, they are always explosive and hot but don't actually play up the sexy sexy as a whole team too much, possibly cause they would kill STAY (like when they did OT8 Red Lights) .. the satin, the moves, the cheeky looks .... BANG CHAN!!! I had to watch a fan cam to get a different angel and full view of the choreo cause I loved these versions of 'Do It' and 'Ceremony' choreo ... soooooo sexy and the dance section with Lee Know and Hyunjin ... so cool ... and Jazzy/ Bluesy DIVINE .... LOVED IT! "Christopher ... Christopher ... Christopher!!!!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂 Jenni- DAM is Right!!! mental absolutely mental, she looked and sounded incredible!!... I am going to have Like Jenni stuck in my head again for ages.... what a way to end. Honestly ... Stray Kids, Ateez, BoyNextDoor and Enhypen all look like they have been invited to the same sexy black tie event after the show and I want in!! ... It is probably being hosted by Jenni lol. 😂
