RIP Angel Sulli 😢 / With regards to the T-ara scandal, it went public that the OG members were bullying their maknae and became the cause of their bad PR & disbandment. Sadly, after a few years, it was found out that the maknae, Hwa-young, was the real problem (her being a diva and all that shit) and an apology to the members were already too late..... T-ara was a solid group apart from that drama.

Sulli was one of IU's BFF (along with KARA's Goo Hara) and had a last TV appearance on IU's drama "Hotel de Luna". No one knew that would be the last time anyone would see her. Everyone was concerned for IU that year because 3 of her friends was gone in a span of just 2 years. (Jonghyun SHINEE, Sulli f/X and Hara from KARA)

I hope you got to check out F(x), Missa and T-ara musics in the future. Their discographies are one of the best in the generation. Ngl, it feels a bit weird seeing you calling her Suzy Bae after all these years of knowing her. It feels like calling a Korean-American here lol. This appearance was before she was starting to go insanely popular in 2012 until this day (but she had been a trendy star since her debut day). Well, there were many popular dramas for her you can watch but she also released some musics here and there. Jiyeon was one of IU’s early best friends. They were in the show “Heroes” together and became rallying close due to the similar age. (They have grown far apart nowadays sadly). As some comments mentioned, T-ara had a pretty serious controversy, (It’s so big that it became a national topic there and considered their status at that time which was probably 2nd biggest girl group at that time.) it literally damage the group tremendously. She has been married few years ago but just divorced a bit later. Luna is so so so underrated for her skills. She is considered as one of the best vocal in the industry even in SM (Yes, you can say she’s better than Taeyeon and Wendy and this comes from me as a SONE). Her solo is so good, it’s disappointing she didn’t get much attention for her solo at all. Sullin is just…sigh…a sad case of corrupted society eating up a young girl. She has a dating relationship with 10+ years senior when she is around 20-21 but she is the one who gets criticized more from the public. And her actions were also seen as rebellious and unhinged which is why she keeps getting labeled as “attention seeker” or something worse than that. Yep, this cruel world doesn’t deserve her at all.

- Finally, I'm so happy to see this episode! It's one of my favorites from Running Man, definitely in the top 50 out of 750. - At that time, Miss-A, T-ara, and f(x) were extremely popular groups. Maybe not as popular as Girls' Generation or Kara at that time, but still very big groups. - f(x) experienced the same tragedy as Kara. Sulli unfortunately took her own life at the age of 25. It's one of the huge tragedies that K-pop had to bear for years, along with Go Hara's suicide - At the time, as I've mentioned several times, IU and Suzy represented the pinnacle of Korean beauty. Suzy met all the beauty standards. But Jiyeon was also very, very popular. - I'm surprised that after more than four years, we've never had a drama with Suzy on this channel. Suzy is one of the best actresses/idols and the most prolific; she's acted in 14 dramas and 3 films. - Haha is a real fan of Suzy. Every time she came on the show, Haha couldn't stand it. During the first era of Running Man, Suzy was the most invited guest on the show; she became like a godmother. - Of course, some members of Knowing Bros went on Running Man, and some members of Running Man went on Knowing Bros., but individually, never as a group, because the shows were somewhat rivals. - Back then, when idols were promoting, they were often asked if they were on Team Jae-seok or Team Ho-dong. Because the two are considered two of the best MCs in South Korea. - As RoNNie said, IU and Jiyeon were very close friends, but at that time, T-ara was involved in some controversies. - What makes a show like Running Man so long-lasting is the producers' ability to see and effectively use concepts that work. Couple races work? Okay, let's continue. Manhunts work? Let's continue. Hide and seek works? Let's continue. When a concept gets old, they change it. When it comes back into fashion, they update it. Oh, culinary or gastronomic races also work, so they implement them. It's really a constant updating of trends that has allowed the show's continued success. Of course, some years the ratings weren't always there, but they continued as long as the cast stayed on. Over time, even when a key cast member left the show, like Gary or later Kwang Soo, they made sure to replace them with popular personalities. And sometimes they discuss amongst themselves which celebrities they'd like to add to the cast. Names like Kim Sejeong, Yoon Bomi, Hani, Kang Hana, Lee Dahee, Key, and Eunkwang have often been mentioned as potential cast members. - It was smart of Haha to sell Jongkook and Jiyeon to survive. It was the right thing to do to win. - But yes, Gary was very cool.
