Glad to see you're enjoying the show cos I had fun watching it then. 😊 I really enjoy your reactions even way back then when you were doing YT MVs (well you still are but ykwim). I hope Moving would win next poll. 🤞

lol I ended up watching only 30 minutes of it. I’m going to finish it later tonight.

The story about you and your dad really touch me...We need to stop carrying some burden , We have to live our own lives too

- Damn, good eye! That is indeed Ju-ne of iKON. Which is wild because it's been damn near three years since you reacted to them as a group. And I believe you have not seen his solo debut, right? - Pro tip: if a member of iKON asks you to be part of his music project, you say yes! - Speaking in sign language is still speaking. Don't think too much about it. - But on that note: remember how I complained about the choice to make the family mute and how that's just not accurate to the vast majority of deaf people? I have thought about it a bit more and I think there might be a production related reason for that: As I mentioned, deaf people have a very particular kind of voice. One that is really hard for hearing people to accurately imitate. I grew up surrounded by deaf people and I can't do it either. And neither can the hearing actors of these deaf characters, probably. So the producers might have made the choice to just make these characters mute instead of having the actors try and fail to do authentic deaf vocalisations. At least I HOPE that's the reason and not just the producers running on the assumption that deaf people are automatically also mute. - Tbh, I'm with him. Just endless practice, studying, business and networking, that's not living. I mean, what is even the point in doing any of that if you don't get to enjoy your life a little bit at least? - I had to check and yup, the song this band is singing is indeed on the OST: Higher by Ju-ne. You would probably like his solo music too. Goes into a somewhat similar rock-ish direction like this, just a bit more late 90s / early 2000s styled. - Yun Dong-jin Band? Like Yoon Do-hyun Band? YB? - WAIT HOLD UP THAT IS YOON DO-HYUN WHAT 👀 - This may sound crass but honestly, what a dick move from your dad to end himself on your birthday of all days. I hope you know that it's not your fault. It never was. - I don't know what Bal-san is singing about but it sounds painful. Physically. - Yup, you're right. My parents do have pretty good peripheral vision, they almost always know when I want to tell them something, even when they're not directly looking at me. - This isn't even too far fetched, seeing how Park Bom's reputation got ruined over supposed „drug usage“ back then when it was literally just prescription medicine. - This is tough because they're both kinda right. Yes, Eun-gyeol should have said something sooner but I fully understand why he didn't because yes, his dad absolutely would have reacted like this. I won't get into detail because it's personal and private but I'm in a somewhat similar situation right now and the fuse has blown. I relate to this scene more than I want to. - Yeah, that's what I said. Not a fan of dubbing the Sign. It would feel realer without the dub. - If I didn't already know that this show has a fantastical time travel element to it, I'd get hella whiplash right now 😅 - More Coldplay references, huh? - Seo Taiji mentioned! - Wait what. Okay, so Ha Ie-chan is Eun-gyeol's dad? Really? So that would mean he wasn't born deaf but rather became deaf later in his life. Which means it makes even less sense for him to be mute like that. When you lose your hearing, you don't also lose your voice. That's not how that works. And on top of that, people who go deaf as adults don't develop the characteristic deaf voice that I described. Because that only comes from never having heard your own voice growing up. With Ie-chan, his voice is fully developed before he goes deaf, so the dad actor wouldn't even have to try and imitate a „deaf voice“. He could just be using his regular voice and it would make perfect logical sense. I know I'm nitpicking hard but I grew up around this stuff. This matters to me 😅 - Does this mean that all the scenes of Ie-chan and him crushing on Se-kyung also took place in 1995? So we already know these two don't end up together because Eun-gyeol's mum is someone else😬
