-It's been a while since I last heard you mention Taeyang being shirtless HAHAH we are so back -I'm pretty sure there's a way to turn off the floating comments on bilibili (its one of the icons on the bottom right of the video player) -Bruh Taeyang was dancing like he's single and abso-fucking-lutely ready to mingle 🤣 I missed his energy so much haha -That dancehall remix of Power goes so hard! And yes the female dancers were whew goddamn... it's the first time I'm staring at the dancers instead of GD lol 🫣 -Yes, Look at Me Gwisoon is Daesung's first trot song written by GD! I love it so much that he's introducing trot to a different country, and not watered down to fit the western taste so they are getting the full experience... and that part where he broke character for a split second just killed me 😂 Koreans are praising him for being the first artist ever to introduce trot to Coachella haha -I think we should be getting some behind-the-scenes stuff because GD and Daesung were seen walking around with a vlog camera. -I can totally imagine GD having their post-performance debrief with a gun on the forehead of whoever's controlling the lights that day LOL for some reason the stage mostly appeared quite dark and the dancers can be barely seen -I love that they chose to omit all of TOP's verses in their entire setlist except for Still Life, and did not sing over him. It feels like they're saying that his voice (and place in the group) is irreplaceable, and also TOP was really looking forward to going to Coachella back in 2020 so it's like they are sharing the moment with him 🥹 I think this is their goodbye for TOP, and an official start to their activities as a group of three. So yeah about the other MV from TOP: Turns out that the Studio54 MV has mashed both songs together so we're not expecting another MV unless he has a surprise for us 😅 Likewise, I'm pessimistic about him rejoining the others anytime soon - his album made it very clear that he still loves the group, but he's leaving because he wants his freedom for his own mental health and focus on his craft, and he doesn't want the other three to be negatively viewed because of him. I'm hoping that we're getting some changes to the setlist for week 2! I don't think I can handle listening to Still Life again because that freaking broke me haha

They are performing at weekend 2 as well. Are you going to watch Taemin’s performance as well? He also performed and will be performing week 2 as well. Big Bang also should have performed at the main stage, there were approx 80,000 people at the outdoor stage watching them.

Rosie & Lisa were watching, singing and screaming along in the audience btw, they posted on their stories and there are some really fun fancams when Daesung and Taeyang were waiving towards them lol (just saw a clip today that suggested that Jennie was also there a little further behind) Just cool to see BP hanging out and supporting their seniors that they've worked with already since pre debut times, must've been really special for them as well as all the staff, dancers, band etc that have worked with Bigbang for so many years. Just too bad the gig in 2020 got cancelled since that would've been a OT4 performance back then..and I remember T.O.P being really excited about performing at Coachella back then.

HiHi

Lisa n Rose also attend at below stage as fan.

Sascha

your confused face during Daesung's intro for Look At Me Gwisoon was hilarious :D No one but Daesung could be so committed to the bit and still pull off something like this on a stage like Coachella lmao

FINE, I guess I'll watch it a third time 🤣 Before we start, quickly about two other artists I also watched at Coachella this year: Taemin was fucking amazing. Proving once again why he's my favourite idol of all time, the most talented man alive. And he performed no less than SIX completely new songs! And I finally got to expose myself to BINI. Where the hell have I been all this time?? I've seriously been missing out. - Uhm, is that text gonna be in the screen the entire time? - Bilibili is SUCH a good source for kpop concerts in general! There's this one account called Koalaadormir that's got pretty much everything you could possibly ask for (and without random text floating through the screen): https://www.bilibili.tv/en/space/1206139174 - As happy as I am to see Bigbang reunited and performing Bang Bang Bang again, I does pain me a bit that we will probably never hear them perform the full song again. They always skip the beginning and start from the second verse, to avoid the parts from TOP and the other guy :/ - Taeyang being allergic to shirts, nothing new here. - Sober is just one of THOSE songs, man. Super upbeat but gets me so emotional. Honestly their finest work. - Man, Taeyang gets INTO it - A Fool of Tears is from their debut EP. Makes sense that the sound from their survival show seeped into it. - God, I hate the Patreon video player so much. Why is there no option to manually select a resolution? Why must I be stuck with this blurry mess right now? - The Band Six getting their own chance to shine Tonight! - I was SO surprised watching this live. I was not expecting them to do solo stages and for Taeyang to go full RINGA LINGA on my ass 🤠 - Okay then, Magic Mike - Fun fact: GD accidentally stopped the recording when he took that fan's phone. So there's not even a video from when he had it in his hand 😅 - Daesung bringing CULTURE to Coachella! You love to see it. - Yep. This right here is why Daesung's my bias. I LOVE this man and how seriously unserious he is - Look at me, Gwisun! Daesung's solo debut from 2008. He was about that Trot life from the very beginning. - Home Sweet Home is the best song of 2024. That is not up for discussion. - Hearing TOP's verse in Still Life breaks me. Such a distinct voice, such an important pillar of Bigbang. We know he's definitely not coming back. He's made that very clear, not just in interviews but also in his new album. And I fully understand that but I would be lying if I said that it doesn't hurt that we will never see Bigbang in their full 4-member lineup again. - But even down a member, even with GD struggling on his vocals (I really hope he does something to take care of his vocal chords, they seem pretty fried these days), Bigbang prove why they are the Kings of Kpop This is probably as good a time as any to mention that I have a Coachella Kpop playlist! Including all the setlists from every Korean (and a few other Asian) artist who performed at Coachella over the years. The only one missing is Epik High from 2016 because I haven't been able to find that setlist. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/47kC2HZvjPPh67m9tKaQ7u What this includes, by year: - 2019: BLACKPINK - 2022: Epik High, BIBI, Jackson Wang, CL (with a surprise appearance of 2NE1), aespa - 2023: BLACKPINK, DPR LIVE & DPR IAN - 2024: ATEEZ, LE SSERAFIM, Tiger JK & Yoonmirae, Number_i, BIBI, The Rose, ATARASHII GAKKO! - 2025: LISA, ENHYPEN, JENNIE, XG - 2026: BINI, KATSEYE, Fujii Kaze, TAEMIN, BIGBANG

Hey DG just so you know if you're watching next week's performance from bilibili too you can turn off the "flying bullet" texts by untick the “弹” button at the bottom
