God I cannot wait for you to proper get into this!!! It’s so good! Loving the reaction so far. “The world war z zombies were like the flash” AHAHAHAHAHA pleaseeeeee that’s so real. It’s the controtionism of these ones in this show that sell it for me.

Fun fact: The "annoying" girl (Nayeon) is played by Lee Yoo-mi who you know from Squid Game Season 1. She played the incredibly charming Ji-yeong who got paired up with Sae-byeok for the Marble game. Audiences instantly fell in love with her and she became a fan-favorite even though she only had limited screentime. Her character in "All Of Us Are Dead" is quite the switch-up. Thats some impressive range in acting.

Three possible explanations for differences in how fast somebody "turns" after infection (besides "plot armor / the writers need it for the story"): 1. The virus takes over the brain, so it would be logically to assume that the farther away from the brain the "bite" the longer it takes the virus to get to the brain. For example bite on the neck or lip vs. bite on the leg or hand (as demonstrated this episode). 2. Severity of the bite (for example, how many “virus cells” have entered the bloodstream). Maybe if its only a few, the immune system fighting against the virus is able to slow down the infection longer not immediatly getting overwhelmed. 3. Everybody is different and handles infections (or in general sickness) differently, including speed of infection, symptoms or severity for example. Bonus theory: Stress (anger, fear, panic) might speed up infection because of the stress response from the body flooding the system with adrenaline for example.

When you mention about whether the students had ever seen zombies before in the previous episode, I was thinking "you'll seeeeeeee". I think what makes this different for me is that the students are aware of zombies, you see some even know what to do with zombies like aiming for the head because that what TV shows or movies portray. In a way its a little refreshing to see how self-aware the main characters are regarding the zombies!

- The pirates I remember had cooler looking peg legs than this - Today's food being served in the cafeteria: humans! - These long takes are awesome. Really getting the point across of the kind of carnage we're dealing with here. - Ayy, Train to Busan mentioned! - Oh, so this guy intentionally created a zombie virus. Awesome. Great job, dude. You fucking moron. - What a fucking motivational speech on the bus there - Do they not know that you can make emergency calls on any phone without knowing the passcode? - Thank you. - Oh shit, it's Vincenzo's assistant! - And he's denying having been bit. Awesome. - Damn, stabbed through the mouth. Gnarly. - Losing your best friend is bad enough as is but seeing her turn into a zombie right in front of you... - Fuck, would be terrified having to climb down the fire hose like this. - Nah man, did he really fall? Fuck. - I just realised, most, if not all zombie media I've consumed has the fast variety. At least I can't recall ever watching something with slow zombies.
