Man i love this show. It's just ramps up and the back stories are so good. The finale is awesome too. Complete season 1. Can't wait for you to finish

Huh. - I hadn't read books for YEARS. Was a huge reader in my childhood but over time that just got less and less. And then about two years ago, I just bought the entire Three Body Problem trilogy on a whim. Hard sci-fi, pretty damn complex and detailed on the science part. I absolutely blasted through all three books. I could NOT put them down. I was surprised at myself. Years of the internet completely destroying my attention span, and there I was, binging one of the most advanced stories in science fiction. Ironically, I find the Chinese TV adaptation much more challenging to sit through than the book itself. It's super faithful to the book. Probably to a fault. The pacing that was great in the written format, just does not really work on TV. And it's much harder to follow than the book tbh. The Netflix adaptation, while taking quite a few liberties, is a better TV experience, especially when you're not familiar with the source material. - You do NOT mess with anyone Juwon cares about. - I love a good hallway fight - Flaming Fist of Death! - I like that Juwon isn't just effortlessly mowing down all these goons. It's one against a huge gang. Any normal person would be dead within a minute. It's only due to his healing factor that he even stands a chance at all. Feels grounded, in a way. - Ohh it's Juwon who fell out the window. And Minki, the idiot, just sent all his goons inside - Ah well. They came back out - Bit self-destructive, this whole attack on Juwon, innit - And now we know where Huisoo came from ❤ - I guess it's somewhat reassuring that it's not just English that's getting butchered by Kdramas 😅 I don't speak a word of Russian but even I could tell that this didn't quite sound right - You know what else is funny: This is supposed to be set in Russia but I would recognise that filming location anywhere. Vincenzo, Back Door by Stray Kids, Animal Farm by Bibi etc. - The more I see the more I'm convinced that the ANSP are not the good guys. - Man, the LAYERS to this plan. - And just like that, the ANSP ends. Damn. - Temporarily. - We have a great tonkatsu restaurant downtown and I'm getting cravings. - These fuckers can't just let a happy family live in peace, can they? 🙄 - But now it makes a lot more sense why Mihyun is so desperate to surpress Bongseok's flying ability instead of letting him train and control it.
