Juvenile Justice is a very good watch, though like you suspected the plot is quite different from teach you a lesson but the structure is almost identical. It follows a judge who (with reason) hates juvenile offenders and similarly to TYAL it has a different case almost every episode and the person in the wrong differs a lot based on the situations; like how in TYAL it bounces between teachers, students parents with the ending revealing why she hates them. Whilst it is a good show the themes are quite uncomfortable and some aren't great to sit through but i wouldn't say thats a reason not to watch.

Your reaction towards the Rich dude's words to his daughter was totally valid. The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree. Like what the other comment has mentioned, Juvenile Justice is a good watch! But as compared to TYAL, it is a lot more darker but still intriguing. If I'm not mistaken, the drama theme seem to be more on systemic and reformative issues but interesting watch nevertheless! The main actor of TYAL also appears in Sweet Home (Season 2 and 3) ! If you ever want to watch it, its a completely different genre from TYAL and Juvenile Justice tho.

- Oh Jesus, North Korean boot camp is operating on a different level of ruthless. - But does this shit even work? Does relentless torture ever turn anyone into an effective soldier? Because I frankly don't see it. - Isn't one of the points of this sort of thing to also build up trust and good teamwork between your comrades? This is stupid af. - Or they don't even want a team. They want two super soldiers and no more. Seems like a complete waste of talent but aight. - Extreme reaction to a small potato. Yelena would not approve. - „Please forgive me for throwing you off a building“ - We've both said it multiple times but I always appreciate a crime boss who is actually capable in a fight and willing to get his hands dirty. - Ok I can see where the potato trauma came from - SHE'S ALIVE! - Gorgeous aerials. - Why do they all rub their hands like this? Including his own daughter. What is this? - „If you wanted to kill her, you should've asked me to do it.“ I am not even surprised that he would say this. - Theory: Because Ju Gang-chan has decided to frame Golden Teeth for Min-ji's murder, he might decide to actually keep her alive as leverage against him. - Or he's just a fucking dumbass, that's more likely 😅 - Girl please don't die on me now 😬
